They price don't have confirmed, but I am much expeted. And my budget was around 300$, if it is enough to buy such model?
Bought it today, got the 64gb Version with android 7.1 for 160€, that was a bargain.
I hope we get a little tutorial for flashing the 8.0 Oreo from the 128 GB Version on the smaller one.
If the 128 really exists, you only get the small one right at the moment.
Item shoud arrive within the next 5 Days, if somebodz has a question feel free to fire at will ;D
I bought this one because my Mot Z has to be send in for a battery replacement. so know i have a backup phone which looks promising.

Some news of ICS release live from Sony France here :
http://www.sony.fr/discussions/message/766480#766480
Well, it's in french
France and Belgium will have to wait 4 more weeks for ICS. The post doesn't speak of other european countries but I guess they won't be better served...
,
Italian sony told that soon we will have infos... very very soon... we can only wait... and hope...
New post from Sony today on sony.fr :
No ICS in Europe before the last days of May. That confirms what has been written before on the same blog.
Sony.fr is proud to inform that the update will concern all tablets : P, S, WiFi & 3G.
Woaw...
mouarf ...
Correct translation
The Sony France guy did not write what the OP reported in English. Essentially, there was no such arrogance in the original message, which reads:
As was communicated on April 27th, there was an expectation of a 4 weeks delay for the deployment in Europe and as always, we will keep you informed as soon as we will have information on this matter. However for now, we are still on an end-of-May schedule.
I shall stress that all tablets will be targeted(S, P, WiFi or 3G).
in French for those who want to cross-check my translation:
Comme communiqué le 27 Avril, il fallait compter 4 semaines pour la déploiement en Europe et comme toujours, nous vous tiendrons informés dès que nous aurons des infos à ce sujet, mais pour l'instant, nous sommes toujours sur un timing fin Mai. Je précise que toutes les tablettes seront concernées (S, P, WiFi ou 3G).
Personal thought : 27th April plus 4 weeks do indeed run towards end of May, especially given how France stops working on so many non-working days this month. And yes, I'm as impatient as anyone to get that update!
Right...
OK, I must admit that the arrogance wasn't so obvious in the original post from Sony. I must have been under influence of other writings here in XDA which made me think that Sony could be arrogant with their customers.
Sorry if I'm wrong
what a crap. I had news that we would have an update to ICS in April.
WTF Sony come on!!!!!! Otherwise update straight away to Android 7.5
People complain of delays but they should be glad that sony is responsible enough for not releasing buggy software!
Its a 3g problem! That's the reason why its delayed in some countries. And sony cant release an over the air update for wifi tablets only, they can only release by nation..
I am glad sony is responsible!!

such company should not have such problems, what does it mean "3g problems" anyway? which problems could they have? come on...

Hope but mistake
May 24th said by a Sony France forum user (not a Sony guy) to be THE date... By obvious mistake when looking at the source URL, wich talk about tablet P :
http://mobile.theverge.com/2012/5/18/3028181/sony-tablet-p-android-ics-update-may-24
Still a good new for Sony tablet P users.
Hi, LeMax 2 receive Official Android 7.0?
I have bought this smartphone last month
Inviato dal mio Le X820 utilizzando Tapatalk
No.
Le have not given Android 6 for Le Max 1 users of last year. So we cannot expect Android 7 for Le Max 2.
You would have to buy Le Max 3 with Android 7.

Hi,
that gives some hope to see Android N on this Phone.
I have it and I would be really sad to see it go because of lack of support, be it from manufacturer or from community.
All it would take is for LeEco to release sources for the kernel.
I understand they want to keep their "EcoSystem" to themselves... Then again, it would be pretty easy to release a version with another model number and the kernel source just for that model... that wouldn't be sold within China or other regions where LeTV services are not offered.
Regards.
I hope it will too, I've been eyeing this for awhile now (250 USD at time of writing). Given the specs not much else compares at the price point. The fact that the Mi5 base model is underclocked and the model above is a solid 100 USD more makes it less desirable to me. I'm hoping that if it does get N we'll be able to use Daydream VR with that 2K display, assuming response time and sensors are up to it...

The ZUK Z2 is in the same price range actually... but seems to suffer from the same problem of great hardware but lack of software support. Not quite sure anymore which device to go for anymore

I would get the 829 unless you can find an 820 with more than 32gb of storage.
This place has really good prices
https://www.coolicool.com/cell-phones-t-289?filter_attr=0.0.0.0.0.12098.0.0.0.0
Depends where you live. If USA, get X829, if Europe or somewhere else, it's better to get the X820. The B20 is not working on X829 and until now nobody managed to make it work.
Also as I've noticed on the forum is that more users with X829 have issues with fingerprint sensor than users with X820.
The perfect buy would be X820 4/64 Grey IMHO.
Finally you should decide.
PS: Why not X720 Le Pro3?
dont buy it ..
go to Le pro 3 or leeco cool s1

It depends, the Le max 2 has a much better camera, display, gives more RAM and ROM for the price and the performance is literally 10% slower than the le pro 3 (so you would not see a massive performance lag between the devices, only if you look in the milliseconds which is not very noticeable to the human eye), also the le pro 3 does not have qfiles so if you hard brick it you can NOT revive the mobile and would have to send it for repair, which would take alot of time, this may be why the le max 2 is a much better option.
I have X829, got it last week , with 16s vendor rom, then I flash 19S Indian rom.
there is no issue in the phone, it is amazing and only 170 euro by banggood
also fingerprint sensor work fine.

The same was LeMax2 regarding QFIL files. When the phone was released, there were no files available, they surfaced later after few months (I've done the tutorial in November and the phone was released in May).
Pro3 has some advantages that you haven't mentioned: smaller screen (more pocketable), FHD (it's enough IMHO, and better for the battery and GPU), bigger battery, same RAM, slightly better processor, newer (let's assume that support will be better than LeMax2's as it has a US release). If I wouldn't care about the price, Pro3 would be my choice.

Yeah, I see where you are coming from , it just depends on the user. Also I think at this price point a lot of users would have price as one of their main factors of buying a mobile. My preference would have a larger crisper 2K screen (much better than FHD in VR and because you have no risk with bricking the mobile with no support currently you can easly root the mobile and change the resolution to 1080p to put less strain on the CPU and GPU, I think this is much better than FHD has you get the best of both worlds, VR and typical mobile gaming) , better camera and a lot more RAM and ROM for the price (6GB 128GB variant costed me $250 while the cheapest le pro 3 4GB 32GB variant is $260) and I wouldn't want to be waiting another 3+ months with a hard bricked mobile. And yes the battery on the le pro 3 is much better but for most users the battery time on the Le max 2 is sufficient enough and for still paying less you could buy a power bank. So right now I would still buy the le max 2, but definitely when those QFIL files come for the le pro 3 it would be very difficult to choose from.:good:

For X820 or X829 there are the same amount of ROMs, there is no difference between them. Gapps can be easily flashed on either, go for X820 if it's the same price.

Hi guys, I am considering taking a new phone (a budget one) and i found out about Le Eco. I have two questions:
First one , from what i can see in the homtom site, Le Eco Le 2(5.5 Inches Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 64-bit Octa Core 8MP+16MP) is more expensive than Le Eco Le S3(MTK6797 Helio X20 Deca Core Android 6.0 21.0MP+8.0MP ). Why is that? I don't know a lot about phones , but isn't Le S3 newer and better model with better processor and camera? Why is the older model more expensive?
And the second question , despite the price , what model of Le Eco should i take , to use a stable custom rom. I"ve never used one , but i really want to try and use.
Thank you.
Oh, I will use the phone in Europe, Bulgaria.
Heyyo, I'd recommend going with the Leeco Le 2 as it is compatible to third party roms. Such as the official LineageOS builds. A coworker of mine bought the Le 2 (s2) and I installed LineageOS 14.1 for her and she loves it
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/s2
The S3 is cheaper as MediaTek processors cost less but there is pretty much no custom ROM scene so I wouldn't recommend it for long term software support from the community...
Thank you, man!! Then S2 will be.
Heyyo, you're very welcome!
You can see here how lively LeEco Le S2 custom ROM development is
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-2/development
I've seen some work being done on Oreo (beta) as well so she's still going strong
Hello XDA community.
I have doubts about what model of watch to buy. I saw on a online store a Stratos+ model, on the description i can read the only notable difference is a leather strap, the sapphire screen and that english laguange was not available yer for this particular model.
Now my question is:
Can i use all the methods on this forums to unlock bootlader, load a new room on the stratos+ model? or this is a totally different model that need new methods to upload customize rooms?
Greetings.
Yes, you can!
I have one.
Enviado de meu SM-G950F usando o Tapatalk
stratos vs stratos+ is just the saphire glass, otherwise all the rest is identical, as far as i could tell.
i was also playing with the idea getting the + version but for a gadget which will need to be replaced in about 2 years due to a bad battery or other defects, it was not worth the approx. 70 € ( 140€ vs 210€ )
