Help rooting my xperia s please

hi can anybody help me and with links on how to root my experia s running 2.3.7 6.0.A.3.6.7 and its from o2 already unlocked, hope it can be rooted easily and hope to hear soon as i cant find any easy solutions to root this, many thanks from Brian.
Only way to root the Xperia s is to flash a prerooted system.img or flash a kernel that will root the system. Both require an unlocked bootloader.
welcome to the Xperia S forums
Xperia S INFO REF All that u need to know before u begin
First dial *#*#7378423#*#* (*#*#SERVICE#*#*) to access the service menu and go to: Service info > Configuration and check Rooting Status,
if “Bootloader unlock allowed” says yes then continue with the link above if it says No then stop trying because it is not possible yet for you to unlock the bootloader. Unlocking bootloader is neccessary to root, there is no other way at the moment...

Search the many guides. You should find what you need with a little searching.
Thanks for reply... i went through several forums .... i have a locked bootloader with 5.0.2.. am confused with the first step...
1. Should I unlock my bootloader??
or
1. Should I flash with 4.4, then install custom recovery and then flash rooted roms??
I am not concerned of warranty, but m concerned of losing my baseband .. please suggest !!
If you don't care about warranty, unlock your bootloader, flash some kernel with recovery and flash custom ROM.
Regards

You must unlock bootloader before you install non stock Rom. Before doing this, you must have a recovery.

Emui unlock page is down, I used this for an friend of mine: https://www.xda-developers.com/honor-huawei-bootloader-unlock-page-disappears/
But I think that doesn't accept requiest anymore...
You may paid unlock it with about 5€
Lineage is petty cool, you may also try DnD or Slim7
These are the ROMs for Huawei Y6:

This should be on questions and answers, not on ROMs page.

To root a device's Android unlocking device's boot-loader ( assumed it's allowed by OEM/Carrier ) isn't necessary at all. Unlocking the boot-loader is only a prerequisite if you intent to flash a Custom Recovery and/or Custom ROM .
Anyway, you can unlock a phone's boot-loader if in its Android's Settings -> Developer options the option "OEM unlock" is offered.
ok if I have it and I have it activated. What would the next steps be? Thank you.
@gjoser

ok friend I'm reviewing the page, the doubt I have is that the firmware that asks me for the process asks me for the stock rom. now this is the file that ZTE_A521_MT6580_ATNT_Mexico_20171114_5.1.zip gives me what I don't understand is why it gives me an MT6580 if the phone is qualcomm?
