Asides from posting in the wrong section, you could have searched and you would have found that there's a thread with hundreds of messages about it.
To give you a short answer, you need to wait approximately 168 hours, which is 7 days without rebooting your phone until the toggle shows up. there's nothing you can do but wait.

Actually rebooting is fine and doesn't affect timer. If user flashed something and on reboot there is no OEM toggle, then you can't reboot for 7 days until it appears (or else end up in jail). Just wanted to clarify when reboot is ok and when it is not. Still no need for this thread though

Hi guys. First post to the forum, been lurking for years, just registered.
I recently updated my phone with the update that Samsung kept bothering me about every 2 hours or so. And It has messed my phone up, it's slow, it drags. It doesn't even show the clock on my lock screen without thinking about it for about 10 seconds. Train wreck.
I've rooted, installed custom recovery, and loaded custom roms on my Galaxy S i9000 and on my grouper Nexus 7. I kinda get how all this works, I'm not a total newb, but with this phone I am at a dead end and i've tried everything I know, and a bunch more tricks I learned here and nothing is working.
My Phone: Samsung Galaxy S3: Canadian (Bell) version SGH-I747M, supposedly the same as the S3 AT&T,

I had to use zadig to replace my drivers for Heimdall
Heimdall will sucessfully flash clockwork recovery, but it refuses to install my CM rom. I haven't tried any other roms, but from what I've read in the forum here, it doesn't seem to matter what rom you use, it just wont do it.
I get Assert, bootloader errors when trying to install from zip in Clockwork Recovery. tried the fix here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41503727
and it does not work. Odin just says "FAILED" right away.
I thought maybe if I just rooted the phone first, I could at least flash a custom recovery and not have it over written everytime I boot.
I tried CF-AutoRoot, Odin says success, but nothing changes on my phone.
I tried OneClickRoot which worked wonders on my GS i9000 back in the day. No success.
I have tried CM Installer to do it automated, It says success, but no change.
People have reported that Knox may be the problem, but as far as I can tell I don't have it on my phone.
I've been working on this for a day and a half and all I've managed to do is factory reset my phone about 12 times. I need help.. I don't know what to do. Has anybody managed to root their phone or install a custom recovery or rom with a GS3 running 4.4?

Wrong forum myfriend post your question here >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-att <<
Hello,
After unrooted and re-locked (bootloader) my Nexus 9.
When i boot it, i got this:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
"This is a development device not intended for production use"
After that, I have flashed the stock rom 6.0.1,so I'm 100% stock now, but I still get this message when the device boot
Is it a bug, or my seller sold me a tablet supposed to be not sold?
Do you think I can ask for a replacement? Because I would like to sell it and buy a other tablet... But with this weird message at the boot, I can't expect a lot from it...
Thanks
Strange. I am interested and want to know more.
The warning only recently appeared?

Just after re-locked my device. So i have unlocked it again to flash the last 6.0.1 stock rom, locked the bootloader, and the red message is still here. But I have seen that, if I unclock the bootloader, the message disappears, and if I lock it, the message appear... Strange.
One other thing, (with bootloader locked), I have an ota update, 7,7mb, but when I update, it fail each time
So if I send it to HTC, I think they will change it with a new one, because even with a factory reset, flash stock rom, I don't know what more they can do.
And I have light bleed on the screen, so i really hope they will give me a new one!
That's strange. I don't know whether that red message appears even if you lock the bootloader with everything being stock, but you may try this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/general/guide-safely-lock-bootloader-android-5-1-t3067302
Edit: If OTA update fails, your device may not be completely stock. Try troubleshooting by consulting the recovery log, or use the "flash-all.bat" to flash stock ROM again.

Ok thanks for your help
I have send an email to HTC to ask for a replacement. I have seen that some people who got the same issue, (even without root or unlock bootloader) got a replacement :fingers-crossed: . And I have ugly light bleed on the screen, so I really hope I will got a replacement too
If the OTA fails then you aren't full stock..
DITTO to downloading the google stock image and flashing using the included flash-all.bat.
Hello Guys,
iam sitting here since about 8 hours and try to unlock my new Honor 9 which i received today. But its not working so i need your help.
My Phone bought in China:
Device: Huawei Honor 9
Model No: STF-AL10
Android OS: 7.0 Nougat
EMUI Version: 5.1
Firmware: B190
Build Number: STF-AL10C00B190
Memory: 6GB / 128GB
I've installed all related driver, adb etc. Got my unlock password within 2minutes. Ive also checked that with IMEI 1, IMEI 2 and the MEID. In every case i received the same password so the password cant be wrong.
But when i try to unlock my phone with "fastboot oem unlock MYCODE" i receive the message "FAILED (remote: check password failed!)".
I noticed that i cant see the message "frp locked" on my phones screen and i really wonder why. Of course i enabled usb debugging but i dont have any oem unlock option under developer settings. Its not there. But ive read a lot and removed my fingerprints, my pin and made a soft reset. Still not working. Made a hard reset and still the same. At first i tried with B175 firmware. After that HiSuite offers a update (B190) and ive upgraded my phone. But still the same problem. Cant unlock my phone. And the question is why?
Ive made some pictures but iam not able to post them because iam new....
Nobody can help?
Here are the pictures ive made:

Your main issue lies in the total absence of oem unlocking in dev options. Fastboot commands towards that are hence useless. Like your model came with a non-unlockable bootloader... Weird. Mine mysteriously had its option in developer greyed out and unmodifiable, with a frp locked state in fastboot all of a sudden, even though I already had unlocked it... Luckily I already had TWRP and flashing Oreo cleared all my issues even retrieved capacitive buttons. As of now I have no idea to help you mate, only contacting Huawei support as suggested by them o if having issues with bootloader and/or unlocking code. Tell if you find a way, good luck.
Thank you for your answer. Yes, these china models always come with no FRP options.
But i dont read that there really exist some Honor 9 phones that are not unlockable. Hmm
Problem solved in the meanwhile.
Huawei website gave me wrong unlock code (unlock password). But i was able to extract the right one with DC tools.
My Honor 9 is unlocked, rebranded and rooted now. And iam happy.
hello,
could u tell me how to rebrand STF-AL10?

thank you for replying
I will try
Let me start by saying I am not rooted no twrp just plain stock , with locked bootloader. Also EU version.(V12.0.8.0.QJGEUXM)
A few months ago I downloaded the Android 11 Rom V12.0.6.0.RJGEUXM through the phone even though I am not on any trial program.
It installed easily on my phone , some people have had to use other methods...so I read.
Anyhow , I thought it was way too buggy and needed to downgrade.( Even after the the 2 other upgrades to V12.0.7.0.RJGEUXM. This is what I did to rollback if someone else is in the same boat.
I had to wait 3 days to unlock my bootloader,
Then I used the MiTool to select the ROM I wanted.
The problem then is the bootloader is still unlocked after you flash the new ROM, you need to use ADB command " OEM lock" to relock then phone , it should erase everything then go back stock. I am still learning with this Xiaomi device so I had to learn this from different sources and hope it helps somebody else out.
Soz if this is common knowledge or wrong part of forum!
thanks for the info but why did you downgrade did android 11 lags the phone or what

1) WiFi issues and random reboots, when the phone booted (on its own accord) on reboot the wi fi took quite a few minutes ( over 5 minutes sometimes longer) to get back online.
2) The speaker volume seemed too quiet for video and calls.(on at full volume most of the time).
3) Not so polished, sometimes would be a bit laggy other times not.
At the minute Android 11 for the Poco is still Beta, I am sure these problems will get resolved. The moral of story ... Wait for OTA instead of forcing updates.
i used xiaomi flash tool to flash fastboot rom and selected this to keep unlocked bootloader

Probably someone tried to root it and made RMM to change to prenormal. Have you tried checking if RMM/KG is showing prenormal in Download mode?

Can i fix this problem );
Yes, typically the RMM resets after 7 days. There might be a quick fix which I am unsure of, so keep digging on xda.

I just got the Edge Plus (named that here in the US) Same phone as this, and mine is like this too, brand new out of the box like this.
Having the same issue, greyed out OEM unlock button.
Brand new, out of bocx.
Also when I go to the motorola site, it says not eligible to be unlocked, which is bizzare. Its fully unlocked!
My guess is it takes some time for the button to not be grey, according to what I read here.
Still need to try to get the code though from the moto site.
Fairly confident the Oem unlock button will be active in a few days.
Does anyone button greyed out get the Oem unlock code? I can't get that. Fully unlocked device.
ok was able to get the motorola unlock code, about 24 hours after I got the phone. Still, cant get the OEM unlock to toggle. Tried multiple reset options and nothing worked (sim, no sim, wifi, no wifi).
Did a factory reset and it worked!
