hi all
With all your help i have managed to install tomtom 5 on my xda 2 and managed to fix the backlight issue, but i have a bigger problem then that and i cannot find a solution for it....
the problem is that tomtom 5 does a soft reset all by its self after about a minue or two, and i dont know why...
I have installed the patch from this site and the tomtom5.1 patch.
i read something about gps on WM2K causeing some sort of problem but i cannot work out what to do
any help would turely be appreciated

I found no bugs in the gps. It's working fine

Not a single problem, I could maybe call it TOO accurate by the fact it can pinpoint me in my bedroom on google maps...
gps is great! it gets a fix in no more than 10 secs.
Coming from Nokia, i could say that LG Optimus One's GPS is *deleted* awesome!
GPS on LG P500 is simple Fantastic.
Gps is better than on any phone I have used.

Man, you guys are making me think my phone might be defective. It takes my one at *least* 3-5 minutes to get a lock when I open up google maps, or even just gps trest apps that show satellites picked up. My x10 does it in seconds so i'm pretty sure its not just my location.

I have lg optimus, with 2.2, standard.
I have a problem with the real position ( the little point which can be seen ) in Igo or Copilot. The position is with 10-20 meters right, so if there is an alley or parallel street, the position is changed on that street, and the instructution are: first left, then right, to get back on track.
On a simple road, there are no problems,it keeps positin on road, but on some roads with brackets, i think there will be some problems.
Is my phone bad ?
Someone else had this problem ?

i may have a similar problem, my gps is not that accurate.

My LG conects in seconds, extremly fasr, but the precision is the problem.
GPS with no problems. It's funtastic...
I used to have those problems then I rooted my phone and installed fasterfix. Solved all the problems. Fix within seconds with data connection

By problems I meant either no fix despite being in open space standing still. Or getting inaccurate fix showing my location way off..

Few days ago I installed skymap and I have shown that the compass is not pointing to North. It points to West . I have tried to fix it recalibrating the compass and placing a hard reset but I have had no luck.
Does anybody know how to fix it?

I had this problem before, and just checking now, guess what mine is also pointing west....
Last time it took about a day to right itself, I don't think it is magnetic fields because it would point west in various locations. Indoors or outdoors. Not found a solution yet,
Don't know if this helps - I got mine 'unstuck' by holding in 'portrait' mode, but completely horizontal, with the HTC Compass app open. Then rotating it slowly on it's long axis - i.e. as if you are turning a key - did this back and forth a few times, all the way round. If you watch the screen, at 'half-way' point you see the compass flip back on itself. This seems to have corrected it now - for now at least!
Don't know if this was a fluke, if it's a hardware thing, or if this has just reset some magnetic field. Doing the '8 shape' movements to reset the compass did nothing for me....

Same problem here.
I bought an unlocked, carrier free HTC Titan in US, brought it to Brazil and the compass is always pointing to south instead of north.
I tried everything, including the hard reset. Still pointing to south.
I hope a firmware update or something fixes that. Really annoying!

(North points sometimes to the NE, sometimes W, or S, etc)
Looking for the problem I found this thread, and also this other thread in WP Central.

What is the compass app u apply? Skymap or HTC Compass? Does any compass related app face this issue?

It is the HTC Compass, but I also noticed the problem applies to other apps like Wikitude.
Any news regarding this subject?

Tried reset phone with AT&T Shipped ROM and Dynamics7 v1.21
I'm the only one that notice Titan's Compass isn't working or doesn't has any solution yet?
I'm currently using Ryogz AT&T custom rom Tango version, and compass working fine- points to right direction/orientation.

I don't know what's happening with my compass. I tried reset the phone, AT&T Stock ROM and Dynamics7 1.21
None works for me! I also saw other users in this forum reporting the same problem but didn't found any reported solution.
It's often for me pointing in the wrong direction, too. However, I've read in an app of a trick that always worked fine so far for me: Moving the phone around in a vertical 8 direction. After I do that, the compass is quickly working correctly for me.

My Jiayu F1 autofocus stopped working, it is locked in macro position.
Restoring the factory settings, but that did not help.
Can someone help, other working well?

Did not find anything on the internet regarding this, only a topic in a russian forum that I am preety sure that talks about this problem and how to fix it, but the translated version of the instructions did not came very clear, so I did not tried to do.
If someone could understand and do it, and post the instructions in english, I will be very happy.

i solved same problem few months ago. problem is with camera module. lens is screwed out of range. so you need open the phone and manualy screw lens back to the right place.
Yes, lens is pulled out, i screw it back, but still same problem.
Maybe then I will be without a camera....

I bought an Amazfit Bip, but I noticed that whne I get up I've already done 100 steps... so I tried to move my arm and...:crying: steps increases ?
A friend of mine has the same smartwatch and this doesn't happen.
