Hi there guys.
So... yesterday i was cleaning my house and found a Nexus 5 that had a problem that got solved and was "forgotten" in the house.
I picked it up, put the SIM card i had in my Nubia nx506j in it and configured it.
The problem was when i got the SIM card back on the Nubia... now the phone won't recognize it.
It's very strange, because the Nexus detects the card everytime but the Nubia won't, and it was working fine before i removed it...
What do I do?
Thank you

I have a s740 and i use to use it all the time, well i broke my screen and got another phone. The other day i found a screen on ebay and replaced it. When i was finished i put my sim card in it and it worked for a little while, but when i restarted the phone it stopped working. The phone knows a sim card is inserted, but wont recognize centennial wireless service. Could it be that i have to unlock it again?? Please reply if you have any tips
Hello everyone
I've got a Sony Ericsson X10 Mini, which I bought about 2 years ago. The phone was working perfectly fine for the past 2 years, but one day when I was trying
to make a phone call, it just turned off automatically. Anyway the problem is when I insert the sim card in the phone [and I've tried it with 3 different sim cards]
It just turns off itself. But when I turn the phone on WITHOUT the sim card, it works perfectly fine. How can I solve this problem?
I've heard it's a hardware issue and one must change the battery?
By the way I tried hard reset/soft reset too but I still got the problem.
Thanks in Advance
Please help me out here
I tried out a new sim card with an adapter nano to regular and all was good, then swapped back to my regular sim and the phone doesn't recognise the old sim card?
I've tried factory reset didn't work
Trying recovery now
Stuck my sim card into the tablet and it works fine.
Weird thing I stuck a virgin one it works and a three network card also works but will not accept my old sim card again?
The phone was bought unlocked and sim free had it for three years only thing done under warrantee was a USB socket that snapped but HTC did fix that?
Any suggestions or is it just time for a new phone?
Thanks

HI GUYS, Im having an issue with my phone(HTC dna) that is getting beyond frustrating. I got the phone like a month ago off of something it worked fine for the first week..then one day randomly stopped reading my sim card.. Im not a total dummy so ive done and ruled out the obvious , my firmware was verison 4.09.605.4 I just updated it to the current one. 4.09.605.8 so i ruled out firmware being an issue. i then went to amazon and bought the new board were the sim card attaches and the audio jack attaches i just installed that yesterday and still nothing!!. I even bought a new up sim card tray still no.. when the sim card TRAY isnt installed i get a message when about a im card not detected ,ect. when i push the tray in that message goes away which indicates it is trying to read...but in the corner you see a sim card with x through it which means no sim card..I've replaced my sim card 3 times just to rule out that but my sim card works in my other phone just not this one.. When i first got this phone a month ago it worked fine!! no troubles.. Im on the ATT go plan..i put my sim in and nothing..but now it just doesnt work..ive tried hooking my phone to my computer and opening htc sync manager and tried doing the repair and nothing ive litterally tried and ruled out most of the obvious, Is this a known problem with these phones? Can anyone please!! help me with a solution i want this phone so badly..i love this phone!!..ill be waiting for replies..hopefully someone can drop knowledge to me! thank you!
I switched over to straight talk and had the same thing happen for awhile. Changed the tray and still didn't work. What ended up straightening it out for me was either resetting the apn settings or the new sim card i got. After I did those things it worked fine.
Hey everyone,
I'm giving away my LG G5 to a family member as her other phone broke. My G5 had a custom rom and had been modified alot but i took it back to complete stock now, everything works fine but the sim card. When inserting my family member sim card it comes up as sim card has been removed which is really weird yet it will show that it has reception on the phone and shows me 4 Bars but cannot make ANY CALLS or TEXTS because the phone thinks that there is no sim card there. Now here is the super weird bit, when I insert my Sim card in the phone it works just fine without a problem I can send texts, calls and go on the internet, I tested this for an hour max to see if it was going to happen with my sim but it never happened no error message? This is a really weird problem with my G5 I never had come across any problems like this before why is it happening now?
I need to get to the bottom of this problem. Does anyone had or have similar problems like this?
Thanks :good:
??
HI. Maybe the SIM contacts in G5 got loose, have you tried putting another SIM to check?
