Short press the MFR button (Multi Function Button with the Motorola Logo), speak name, and the phone will dial the call
did it work for any one ?
Wireless Stereo and Hands Free are both enabled . is ther any other requirement ?
it doesnt have a microphone so no, although it can activate calls on the phone.
what i used to do was pick the call up and talk into the phone, i just got the Nokia BH-501 headset which has a built in mic but i miss my extra hang up and connect call buttons from the HT820.
i can use it as a handsfree headset and can answer incoming calls , so it does have a mic
Its juz that i cant give voice command over bluetooth 4 some reason
yeah i know i noticed that as well except i dont think its the headset that does that just the phone that sees the command and puts the voice recon app into action.
the HT820's are good but not mic good.
With Bluetooth on and paired/ connected to a headset (I use a Jambox in my case).
If the phone is muted or set to vibrate only, then no problem.
But if the phone has Sound On (ringtone comes on with a call), I answer the call and the call does not go to the earphone speaker on the phone or the Jambox but to the phone speaker instead.
Pressing the Speaker or the Headset icons during the call does nothing.
I can also hang up the call from the Jambox. So it has the call but not the sound.
I can hear hissing turning on and off on the Jambox as I press the Headset icon, as if it is attempting to send audio over but it stays with the phone.
Muting the phone or setting it to vibrate cures the problem. So does turning off Bluetooth. Restarting the phone does not help.
Can anyone please replicate?
A strange issue is happening:
The earpiece speaker of the phone doesn't work during normal calls, the audio always comes via loudspeaker automatically and the button to switch to loudspeaker/speakerphone during call also doesn't work.
Strangely, it works fine during WhatsApp voice call.
Any idea, what may be the issue and how to resolve it?
Today I have noticed an strange issue that is occuring with my a50s device. Whenever I am on call or whenever I put my call on bluetooth earphones the mic is not working as a result of that I am not able to speak with the microphone by the way my microphone is working completely working in different applications.
Check for update
Check for update on your phone...I had same issue. In my case, the speaker stopped working while video calling, be it whatsapp video call or zoom call.
Hello,
When I make calls on loudspeaker the microphone cuts out intermittently and the recepient cannot hear me but I can return to the conversation by simply turning off the loudspeaker, obviously this is not convenient.
I have tried all the software fixes available but no success.
In the diagnostic menu for rcv_dual mic loopback the test does not record anything and similarly fails the interactive mic test in the Samsung online interactive app.
The mic does work for phone to ear calls and video recording.
All of this does not make any sense.
