Hello,
I want to compare battery discharge rate using WhatsApp vs Viber?
I guess that WhatsApp is using less battery since it have dark mode, which would be preferred for amoled screen, but don't know how to compare it, and how big difference is?
In settings/battery there is only how much battery is used in last 6hours for some application,..
There are some application that can show battery discharge rate, I know aida64, and Battery BarGraph, but I can't find any way to log usager for 5 minutes using one app, and then another app, or to make them to show discharge rate on open viber or whatsapp? Looks like simple task, but how?
I think Viber is the top battery draining app.
The following app might help you:
https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9wzdncrdl7d8
Amongst a lot of other things, it shows you the battery drain (also on the app's live tile).

Yep. We're happy to try your app and give you feedback... if you give us a .XAP or beta invite. We aren't likely to pay you for the privilege and it's explicitly against the forum rules to use forum posts as advertising. I'm seeing a lot of sites on Www.google.com which offer the apk of this themes for install. Could you upload it? Thanks
Found an app that enable the OxygenOS built in feature with some nice addons like search
It does cost money, I used the trial and it's actually works great

Procedure sounds a bit fishy? not saying it actually is, but granting permissions for someone to do stuff on your phone...
Also, OP: ido__ , app dev: Ido Company
The permissions is just for enabling the global write settings for the application itself.
Then, inside the application I'm able to set the flag of the call recording to true.
And since it is a global settings, that's why I need to be granted once.
Not that I don't believe you, but still not something I'd grant based on someone's word, unfortunately.
Yes, I understand. My best way of explaining me is
1. You can look at the website itself where it uses ADB across the USB from the browser, so the only adb command is to enable the global write settings for the app.
2. When you decompress the apk you (with some technical knowledge) can in fact confirm the only usage is the enable the call recording.
Since the flag you give permissions to is only to enable global settings, there are no malicious usages with that.
