Would it be possible to port other OEMs official trable Android roms to other trable compatible devices? Lets say HTCs official rom to Pixel 2?

No. Those device will still use closed Sourced drivers made for those devices only. Treble is not gonna be as big a deal as you are being lead to believe.

Just as the title says . I dont mind the waiting to be honest but will it happen? I mean they have the qualcom variant so I hope they will bring out one for our note 3
I am there with you brother !
The phone is pretty awesome and I CM wil be available soon . Ever thought about making the ROM yourself?

Any version of Cyanogenmod for the Redmi Note 3 would be great. Very disappointed in this phone. The reviews were - are - very complimentary, the hardware specs are really good, but for beyond-China buyers the software problems are a deal-breaker. The reviews didn't mention the threat of a locked bootloader...
http://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-locks-bootloader-on-recent-devices/
I've applied for bootloader unlock, but no word back from Xiaomi. Wish now I'd paid extra $100 for a ZUK Z1, Cyanogenmod out of the box.
There are multiple Custom Roms for the Redmi Note 3 available in the official MIUI forum.
All 5.1.1 Custom Roms:
CM 12.1:http://en.miui.com/thread-210418-1-1.html
MoKee: http://en.miui.com/thread-215319-1-1.html
BlissPop: http://en.miui.com/thread-214718-1-1.html
PAC-Man:http://en.miui.com/thread-214488-1-1.html
Resurrection Remix: http://en.miui.com/thread-215699-1-1.html
Flyme OS:http://en.miui.com/thread-213952-1-1.html
All 5.0.2 Custom Roms:
AOSP:http://en.miui.com/thread-210071-1-1.html
SphinX (Based on stock):http://en.miui.com/thread-207019-1-1.html
DEV Global Rom (Based on stock):http://en.miui.com/thread-214146-1-1.html
But because all the non Stock Roms are based on Redmi Note 2 Roms, the fingerprint sensor isn't working and 4G is only working on SIM slot 1. On SIM slot 2 only 2G is working.
With the Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon 650 model being available, im guessing getting CM13 running onto that will be a easier task?
What rom can supporting all sensor for Redmi Note 2?

Runnig any version of cyanogenmod will be a easier task, because Snapdragon processors are officially supported by the cyanogen team and MediaTek processors are not.

That is not necessarily true. Android One devices are supported - they are mediatek but their source code is released as they are google supported. So its more to do with source code than anything else.

Yeah you're right but I think in this case it will be a easier task because as I know MediaTek didn't published the kernel source code for the normal Redmi Note 3 (not sure). So creating/porting cm for Redmi Note 3 Pro will be easier because Qualcom publishes many of their kernel source codes.
Hey developers can we expect an android o based ROM for our device ?

This has been asked before already.
Our phones will not receive Oreo, it probably won't even receive Nougat from Xiaomi but there will be custom ROMs with Oreo

Mediatek dont release their code. so Lollipop is last update for rn3 mtk.
Redmi note 3 kenzo was released on android 5. Now its on android 9.
Much like every other MTK device, you're best to stick with official OS. Most custom ROMs will be semi-working at best.
Hello,
what are our options to multiboot roms on android device with Android 10?
the last option I used was dualbootpatcher which was great and worked flawlessly but the project is now discontinued and will not work on Android 10 roms.
Are there any other options currently working ?
My device is Xiaomi Redmi note 7 if that makes a difference
Regards

As far as I know, MultiROM can work, but it is only for OnePlus devices.
Try porting it if possible, it works well, I've heard.
HIT THANKS IF FOUND USEFUL

I highly doubt it will work, the last commit to the MultiROM project was in 2016, there were ALOT of changes in the core of android since then
Hello!
Recently I have seen some custom Roms with one ui 3.0 update. Galaxy a10 will *probably* get this update in August or October idk.
So, is there a way to install it on galaxy a10?
Why I want it? Ez. Because it is beautiful.
If someone gave me the ROM [if exist] I will be thankful
I'm asking everyone! *especially @Chatur27 and @Gabriel260BR . *sorry for mention >:3 *
Thanks.
Sent from my GALAXY A10 using chrome beta.
OneUL 3.0 will officially arrive on the A10 in August, but xda developers can port from other A devices.

CAN? do you mean I can get it now for galaxy a10?
As I said, when released to other "A" model devices, developers can make a port ROM if they want. For this it must first be given to other "A" series devices.
