I am trying to setup Work Profiles on my BV6000s running android 7 without any luck.
Here's what happens, If I download and install the Test DPC app on the playstore, run it and deploy a Work Profile it's in the process to finish and I get the default Blackview startup popup "To close the rubbers before I expose it to water"etc etc.... Then when I exit this screen Nothing further happens.
I notice when I go to Settings apps - the apps have duplicated for work profile but its not on the launcher so I cant access the work profile apps.
Tried different launchers, No luck.
Did the exact same process on the BV6000 (not the BV6000s as above) and it works perfect.
Now my question is what is the best way to track/Troubleshoot what went wrong? Maybe some permissions or something.
I tried different ROM's, ROOTED device etc but still no luck so far.
Where do I go and search?
Help will me much appreciated.

My children (twin boys) have phones (samsung i5500) and I'd like to be able to remove access to the settings option, mainly to prevent them messing around with passwords which they often forget. Tried searching google etc, but not seeing a solution (or anyone else asking)
Any idea how to do this? Both phones currently stock.

Although note that Android is fairly "open" and there are probably ways around these. (I haven't tried any of them personally, nor have I tried to get around them. If your sons learn how to root the phones, they could probably easily remove any protection app you install. It may even be possible to just kill them from a task manager - you may want to block access to the Play Store also so that you must approve any apps they want to install)
EDIT: Just tried the first, seems to do the job well. I'd advise enabling the lock on "Settings" in the General tab and everything other than "incoming calls" on the Advanced tab. Haven't found anyway to get round it, so it seems to do the job.
EDIT: Having left it on my phone for a sort time, I noticed an increased battery drain (even just in half an hour). Not sure if others will be the same, or if this app always behaves like this, but if you notice battery draining quicker after installing one of these apps, you may want to try a different one.

If you hit disable on settings app how do enable it back?
I've found a couple pages on this throughout the forum but nothing definitive to fix this. A couple people responded on my reddit thread saying they also have this issue but could not be fixed. I really hope someone has an answer for me because it is extremely annoying
When clicking certain links, the complete action using (application) dialog shows up even when *always* is clicked.
Per the advice on other threads, I have tried: 1)Clearing defaults 2)clearing cache on the apps I think are the culprit 3)uninstalled apps I thought was the culprit 4)going to application manager and resetting app preferences (this brought back all the apps I froze but did not fix the problem)
Under the launch by default I can see that the default apps I chose are there so the system is receiving my request but is not executing it. This only happens with certain launch types, as Nova launcher is launched probably when I press home button, phone calls are dialed with my preferred dialer, but links that require a browser, apk links (play store etc) and youtube links will always ask
I think I have done everything short of just reinstalling my phone which I don't want to do. For reference I have a Note 3 / 4.4.2 / Stock fimware / rooted.
I am running some XPosed frameworks, the only one that might conflict is CompleteActionPlus but I have tried uninstalling it already and no change.
This didn't use to be a problem but I can't pinpoint exactly when it happened. Another app I thought might be the culprit was Link Bubble but uninstalling that didn't help either.
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

*HELP* Need Alcatel OT Fierce Settings and Phone App. "settings has stopped"
Hey guys, I've had this phone a while now, I bricked my first one after a messed up update and this one was a little wonky after trying to change the boot logo, I've since fixed the issue and got my phone to work correctly for the most part but ever since programs have begun to stop working. My settings app crashes if I try and do certain things and when I reboot I automatically get the "phone has stopped working" and " messaging has stopped..." errors twice (used to be non stop until I'd open the phone app then they'd stop, so it's good it's only twice now) and I'd like to try and fix it. I've tried all the typical fixes so the next viable option would be to delete the apps from my phone and install working ones from someone else's One Touch Fierce. I have the T-Mobile version, running L2HUMH2 (you can find your version under settings/about phone/software update. I'm guessing the APKs from the updated version would work as well.
So my huge favor to ask is, if anyone with the Alcatel One Touch Fierce could either make a backup of their settings, phone and messages app using titanium backup,(settings app shows as settings 4.2.2-194 in Titanium Backup) or you can find the .apk at /system/app
then just copy settings, mms, and Phone or telephony and maybe even the odex's for each if they are there, to cover all bases.
possibly if you could even copy the folders; Com.android.settings and Com.android.providers settings
at /data/data/
it may help some.
I'd be forever grateful to anyone who can help me and hopefully if this works, Help many others who face this issue as well. If this does work I will upload a complete stock app set for this phone for anyone else who runs into this issue with any other apps Thanks in advance for replies.

Hi everyone, I have a Ulefone X5 and overall it works well, but there seems to be a conflict over the task manager and recent apps launcher.
So in safe mode it works fine, so its not a hardware issue. I use Smart Launcher and the Android version is 10 build Amor X5_SH!_EEA_V01 if I open another launcher it kind of works, I say this as it has popped up but only once when I installed another launcher but it gets shut down thereafter.
I do have an unknown app called Easy launcher Ver 10 but it doesnt open and Ive cleared cache on it but nothing still happens, theres a icon for it but it does nothing .
No other task manager works or short cut to the recent apps will make it appear
Any help to fix this frustrating lock down on the recent tasks/apps would be much appreciated.

Does anyone else have this issue android 10 killing recent apps completely as it will work in safe mode but any launcher on normal you can't load up recent apps at all.
It's a good phone and I can't believe I'm the only one with this issue. I know one plus had this issue with android 10. Just wish it didn't automatically upgrade on starting up.
Recent apps is vital and just not working in android 10.

I have a slight problem regarding App Cloner app...
Some time ago, Facebook disabled FB login for cloned apps. The developers of Cloner tried hard to bypass that and then they released App Cloner 2.12.4 that, by them, was able to bypass it. Now my problem comes.
I have Samsung Galaxy A12 (so you know on which device i have a problem) and tried to clone Lords Mobile. It went smooth, in the past i played 3 accounts on windowed mode simultaneously on one screen. Now, i clone, install, start and it does not let me to login through FB.. I tried cloning options like Facebook login - Default, Alternative and Recommended and neither of them working. The Default option gives me the WebView window that tells me that i am not permitted to login... The other two options wont do anything at all...
Please, i am at the end, suggest something to me or recommend, i tried really everything. Is there something that can be done to bypass that damn login restriction???
