Which is the best Marshmallow 6.0.1 ROM for Grand 2? I have seen AOKP and CM13 on furoms. I know both of the AOKP and CM13 front camera don't work. Which is the most stable and best to download? And I was wondering when there will be an update of that ROM how can I download that newest version of the ROM while I'm on an older version of that ROM? I mean for example I would be running AOKP rom and they fix the front camera and then how do I download new version with fixed camera? THANKS ALOT FOR YOUR HELP

Motion rom is working fine or all devs are working on it to make it more buttery

Motion rom is currently 5.1.1 lollipop and Dev is working on 6.0.1

I have used a lot of rom's recently and cm 13 [email protected] is the best, if you want to use android marshmallow on grand 2. Front camera is not working but evrything else is working.

Tried CM 6.0.1 by appav but device overheats even on standby mode.will try AOKP.......
I think I used all the available roms here and I am slightly disappointed. Each of these rom has a lot of errors and underdeveloped.
Both 5.1 and 6.0 at the beginning of a great work. All nice and beautiful works, but after a few days / weeks of use there are mistakes and there are more and more.
A) I'm currently using 6.0.1 and after a week of use:
- Frequent suspension of the touch screen (software).
- Rom memory permanently at 1.1 GB (1.3 GB available), which causes the system begins to slow down much (I have literally several applications uploaded).
- Lack of front camera and the rear camera outside very often turns off only helps remove the battery)
B) previously had the 5.1.1:
- Need less RAM (700-800 MB of applications)
- After uploading fix, and so there were frequent errors sim card
- Speaker on one sim card did not work during the call.
several times I installed accordance with the instructions, the system worked well for a few days, then returned errors.
In conclusion I would like to finally upload a stable rom!

which rom do u suggest over stock touchwiz kitkat
Unfortunately only stock rom working without bugs but after year hard to still use it.
From week im using Open Kang. I really like this software, but bugs still makes me mad, so i dont know how long i will use it.

AOSP_PURE is ported from Zopo Speed 7 just like it was done during the early lollipop days, with the help of few tutorials available on the internet I managed to port a stable marshmallow rom with few bugs obviously, its a learning process for me and those who wish to test it or modify it are welcome to do it but please credit me and people in my credit section and also please comment in the thread what u have done to correct the bug because in the end all we need is Fully functioning ROM and knowledge of how to do it....
AOSP PURE based on the latest firmware of zopo speed 7 with latest security updates. It is not a modification to zoromax port. This AOSP release has very few modifications so that the user can do whatever you want. Have fun!!!

this is a stable release except for the usual LED and D2W stuff....rooted, gapps installed, busybox and is MultiLanguage...
This rom comes as two versions ODEXED and DEODEXED
ODEXED ROM means the app have seperate odex files to make them open faster. The odexed rom usually boots quicker but the boot time increases as the number of apps installed increases. In general odexed roms are snappier than deodexed rom but modern smartphones have better processor to make this delay negligible.
DEODEXED ROM means the the odex files are placed in apk instead of being a seperate file, so every time an app is opened it is extracted to load the odex file in memory which takes more time than having odex files outside. But again in current gen processors the delay is negligible. Deodexed rom has long intial boot time but after the first boot no matter how many apps are installed they boot at the same time.
WARNING TEST THIS AT UR OWN RISK....BACKUP EVERYTHING U HAVE BEFORE DOING ANYTHING...
Boot into TWRP recovery
Wipe Dalvik Cache, Cache, System and Data
Flash the file

i prefer snapit but since the idea is to provide a rom close to aosp it only makes sense to zip it with aosp camera

During 1st boot it stuck !!!
I flash this rom , during 1st boot it stuck on lenovo logo. You told that keep patience and wait for 10 to 15 mins, I waited for around half an hour. It never boots up bro. Complete waste of data I downloaded and as well as time.
Will this work for k4 note or can u pl port and post a thread?

i tried beta 1 and beta 2 now from the link and mine booted up, i don't know why it doesn't for you....i am uploading a stable release, try that if u want...
I tried stable release 1, the ROM did work well but it did get very hot from just normal use.
I have now gone back to s427

i tweaked stable 1 for performance but ended up getting throttled thats why there is stable 1.1....stable 1.2 on its way with few more fixes

of course i wont ,i m just a user, just want to find one rom stable and smooth,and if i removed the pre installed apps in the roms(based on the marshmallow) i experienced before, i couldnt access the system.so i wonder it is the issue of android 6.0 or not.Thanks for your work again.

Thanks for providing the first stable AOSP 6.0 experience! I am using 1.3 now for more than a day not as a daily driver. It's stable, however I feel that stock 6.0 is more smooth due to I think better memory management. I am a light user, no games, mostly youtube/chrome/gmail.

I tryed alls versions of this rom from de S7 EDGE EXYNOS forum ( beta1 , final beta and the others based on stock samsung rom) and,
When i want to make a call, i hear nothing and my interlocutor hear nothing too.
I tryed a lot csc in the aroma installer, many full wipe, reinstallation...
I do not know what to do
I have reinstalled the stock nougat rom waiting a solution.
Google play not work too. I followed all of the instructions for the Force closed problem, and when its ok, the google play app don't want to update or download any applications. I have tryed many error code tutorials for resolves this ( error 963, 927 ) and nothing .
Please help me ! thank you in advance and sorry for my bad english ^^
EDIT : i use TWRP 3.0 flashed with Odin.

It's simply a MIUI 8 rom issue, it should be listed in the rom bugs in the thread.

If the rom is still being updated, and newer versions will come, then it should be fixed in next updates, and you said it works in stock nogut, then it's definitely a rom issue.

I meant if it's working in stock nogut, then it's a MIUI 8 rom issue.
Everything it's ok for me now !
Before, my installation of twrp and miui, was from marshmallow stock samsung. And, with this way, i have so many errors.
But, with twrp installed on the Nougat stock rom, i don't have any problem, calls working, google apps working too !

Im not a developer of this rom .. there is no thread here for Mokee nougat roms.. Im using this rom so far . its well and good for daily use. its official build too . Im just sharing this rom here .

i) I flashed this rom with latest offical MIUI firmware
ii) wipe cache/ data - No need to wipe the system (If u r in Linege os or any other Nougat built)
iii) Try it . its really awesome. i have found 0 bugs . no lags. performance is good
(Indian users facing any difficulties to download rom from official site in chrome .. (use TOR browser or proxy extension in chrome)

because of the gfw in china,mokee can only use their own server to provide download service.so...you know...withour paying for them,you have to bear that

I recommend HavocOS. Unofficial is better in my opinion but u be the judge. It already includes the gcam tho u can try others as well. Magisk modules u need depent solely on your needs. I always use cloudflare modules and ainur sauron plus viper. Hope this helps. : )
