If you will use the camera often , i would recommend the itouch , because Apple really knows how to make good cameras on their devices . Too bad there is no 16 GB model
title says it
I am more interest to play in 4k but also no luck... It is freezing ugly.

try using ''MX Player Pro'' ?
@DUHAlgerianSkills Yes, but same... I think you have t800: as hardware is same, do you have freezes?
You need a 13 megapixel or higher camera to record in 4k resolution. All versions of the Tab S only have an 8 megapixel camera so it is not possible.

Ummmm..... the resolution of the screen is 1600x2560 for both tablets. Neither tablet supports video out (through an adaptor) at anywhere close to 4k resolution. So what is the point? You do not gain anything for getting a 4k video to run and you end up withna file that takes up extra space or bandwidth.
I kinda understand wanting to record 4k video, but my issue with doing thst is that if you want to record a file that is going to contain that much visual clarity you probably should pick a better camera lens then what you get on the average tablet/smartphone.
I love the screen that Samsung has put on the galaxy tab S. I love the fact my 8.4" is retina (impossible or at least very hard to notice individual pixels) at a distance of 10" (12" for the 10.5" model).

idk
I managed to record video in 4K 24fps using the open camera or LG camera app has the playstore
I know the files are huge, especially using superfine pixel resolution and other picture enhancing features. I have a Samsung NX1 camera which records 4K video, and UHD 4K, and it uses approx 100MB a minute. That's not as bad as a Red Dragon Video Camera, which records video at 250MB a second.
Looking to upgrade my phone
How is the camera in comparison
Looking at the exynos variants as I'm in uk

Never had a 5t but these cameras are awesome. Super slo mo 940 fps night shot. I'm sure it's better
Selfie cam any good
According to TechNick's review video, Xperia 1 III has no option to record 60fps in full 4K resolution of 3840×2160 (16:9), but only cropped 3840×1644 (21:9), even in Cinema Pro. Is this true? If so, would there be any workaround to record 3840×2160 @ 60fps? I pray someone makes a mod to unlock this functionality.

mcpro24fps this one might help, i saw ssomeone mentioned about it on youtu.be
I am waiting om my shipment, so can not verify that is a solution. Sorry
There's a free and open-source solution if the camera hardware supports 4k60 - OpenCamera. Works great with recent Sony phones because there isn't too much proprietary stuff in camera hardware.

the problem is, on my device it didn't have access to other sensors than main 24mm and the front-facing one.
I use filmic pro and mcpro24fps
Please indulge me. Prove that Xperia 1 III can deliver much better photos than Xperia 1 II with main wide camera sensor at least. Thanks!
Hm, no response. Suggest there is nothing to show off really or just a very few people have got the phone.

i think the latter. it’s not yet been released in the US. i think only in China.
I've read they've released an update already, so all those early photo reviews are "outdated".
Anyway, this is the most recent and "best" photos taken with it I could find...
Mega shootout: The best camera phones of 2021 so far tested

Just got the phone yesterday here is one pic I took in auto mode no adjustments of a beautiful Nissan 280z
I've got one, the photos taken so far are better than that on the Xperia 1 II. There is no normal camera app though, only the Camera Pro is stock this time around.

I saw this review. Nothing really exiting or convincing so far. None of reviewed phones delivering outstanding photos to my opinion. Bloody Pixel 4 in still unbeatable in most situations in therms of final results so far. And this is weird...
