My phone variant is X829. It was shipped with 16s firmware which was pretty old. Now I'm on 466D_V.00050, dated to 08 Nov. 2016.
After firmware upgrading I noticed fingerprint sensor working much better than before and LTE+ indicator (which means LTE-A I guess).
Please recommend newest baseband avaliable (download links are welcome), suitable for users from central Europe, and also tell me what is difference between various firmware variants (us, ru, cn)? Thanks.
Heyyo, the modem firmware with the newest time stamp is indeed developer 466D. CN 28s shares the same one as 26s and I think 23s too.
Latest modem firmware, pls
So i had my Xperia xz1 from Dubai which is already on the latest firmware update of June (47.1.a.12.205). And right now i reside in India ?? where am using Jio Volte network but my u Xperia ain't showing any options to switch on volte and then i came across some feed which suggests to change the firmware on basis of country region. So my question is which country firmware should i download depending on the fact that i don't loose any other features and which country is the first to receive the latest firmware updates.? And please suggest a link which can guide me to change my firmware.
Thanks.

My Xperia 1 is on HK firmware and hasn't gotten updates for over three months. Other regions have gotten the latest updates to fix the bugs but I still have to stand the crappy fingerprint sensor. Now I decide to flash SEA firmware but I hear that if I do so, I can't use VoLTE. Is that true? Does VoLTE support have anything to do with firmwares, SIMs, carriers, etc.? Thx.

If you live in HK, are using a local carrier and are on the HK firmware, then VoLTE will work.
If you live in HK and flash a non-HK firmware, VoLTE will no longer work.

HK firmware might have the necessary IMS profiles for VoLTE to work in China, which is why it could be working.
You could try flashing to a different regions firmware, if it still works, great. If not, you can flash back to the HK firmware.

In present situation I am busy working at home and have to use the phone a lot, so I have to think twice before doing so. That's why I asked the question first.?
Chinese carriers' VoLTE works on SEA firmware, but the signal strength is rather poor, you can simply flash the SEA firmware and receive OTA updates if you don't mind the signal problem. If you can't bear it, you can try this method to get VoLTE working normally. Beware that OTA updates would be unavailable, you'll have to repeat following steps every time you update.
1. Download both HK and SEA firmware.
2. Make a copy of these four files from HK firmware:
Code:
oem.map
oem_other.map
oem_other_X-FLASH-CUST-A2CD.sin
oem_X-FLASH-CUST-A2CD.sin
3. Paste them into SEA firmware folder.
4. Flash the firmware. (If you want to keep your data and apps, delete files starting with name "appslog diag userdata" before flashing.)

Thx very much! Could I try Taiwan firmware instead to get better signal and avoid replacing OEM files? Although it has slower updates than SEA one, it is still much faster than HK one. And it seems that no one complains its signal.

TW firmware doesn't support Chinese carriers' VoLTE, I've tried before.

Update finished. I tried calling and no VoLTE icon appeared by the signal icon or on the UI of dialer, but LTE icon didn't change to H+/3G. Did that mean VoLTE was enabled?
Edit: VoLTE seems to work now. I typed *#*#4636#*#*, and in Phone Info I saw Voice Network Type is LTE, and Signal Strength is -82 dBm 58 asu which may be a good signal.

Hi. Some countries in Europe got realme ui 2.0 update. I read that people changing VPN for UK or Germany and they get update. How make it? I tried many VPN apps and nothing..
Hi all,
I have the Indian Global Version of the Realme 7 Pro and I live in Europe.
My current software version is RMX2170PU_11.A.39
I tried to get the new version RMX2170PU_11_C.20 OTA by using an Indian VPN, but no update appears.
Is it enough to have an Indian VPN, or is it a problem that I am connected in an Europe mobile network like Vodafone?
Any ideas to get the update? The best way would be a direct download, but I cannot find it.
Any ideas?
Murph
I set regio to India, the language to Hindi and used surfshark to get over VPN Mumbai into the internet. I also faked GPS to India.
But no update appears, A39 is my current version.
Has anyone more ideas to get the update for the Global Version?
I have the Australian model with AU firmware and the April patch. There's no sign of the update for me either, despite other countries receiving it. I emailed Realme in Australia to ask and they couldn't tell me anything useful.
