Missing recovery access after LGUP upgrade - LG G5 Questions & Answers

Dear XDA community
Recently I had bricked my LG G5 on LineageOS (red boot flag - system integrity check problem found or something like that) and after that I reflashed the firmware with LGUP and various kdz files. Everytime it works good but I get the common error on boot (can not match cust for NTCODE=[,]) but still it is not an issue. Yesterday I found out that i can not longer access recovery even after flashing TWRP from fastboot, it seems like the factory reset prompt just vanished. I tried many combinations for accesing the prompt but it doesn't show up and the device boots up normally (LG logo -> orange flag (bootloader unlocked) -> LG logo)
I hope that someone will find a way to solve this issue.
Also i noticed that LGUP does only a dirty flash and everytime it leaves some system apps from "clean europe kdz... with Orange Jeux app"

H850 bricked with Nougat bootloader

Hi all,
My LG G5 is in a bootloop and I cannot even access the recovery.
I guess I made something very, very stupid. Can anyone help me? Please??
Here is what I did:
- Android 6.0 stock ROM (v10i)
- Encryption is on
- unlocked bootloader
- rooted using the official LG way => everything worked fine
- installed latest TWRP => everything worked fine
- entered TWRP and installed Nougat bootloader (LG-H85020K-Flashable.Bootloader.zip) from the v20 upgrade (I actually planned to installed FulmicsROM-4.5 and the manual said I need the Nougat bootloader)
=> bootloop
The device keeps saying "The device software cannot be checked for corruption. Press The power key to pause boot". I did that and ran
fastboot devices
on my Windows PC, but no devices showed up. I have used fastboot in the past, so I am sure that the drivers work.
I also tried LG Bridge, but it does not detect anything.
Does anyone have any idea how I can rescue my device?
Regards
Clarenze
Yippee! I found a solution:
- install LGUP + drivers
- turn off phone
- hold VOLUME UP key and connect USB connector to PC => Phone displays "Firmware Upgrade"
- start LGUP => LGUP detects the phone and allows to flash a kdz file
My phone works again and the day is saved!

[Unbrick Me] LG G2 D801 - Dead Android Robot, Exclamation Point in Red Triangle

I'd appropriate it, if anyone would be willing to help me out with my issue.
I have a LG G2 D801, 32GB.
Had it ROOTED, TWRP Recovery, and Lineage OS 14.1 running perfectly just fine. Until I recently tried to Flash Lineage OS 15.1, which then caused my phone to completely go into a black screen with a dead Android Robot having a exclamation point in a red triangle coming out of it's belly.
Yes, I'm able to get into: Android System Recovery <3e> LRXX22G
- Tried, Reboot System Now and it loops right back into the Android System Recovery <3e> LRXX22G screen. (so that's a dead end)
- Tried, Wipe Cache Partition, then Reboot System Now and it loops right back into the Android System Recovery <3e> LRXX22G screen. (so that's a dead end)
- Tried, Wipe Data/Factory Reset, then Wipe Cache Partition, then Reboot System Now and it loops right back into the Android System Recovery <3e> LRXX22G screen. (so that's a dead end)
- Last but not least, leaving me with the only real option I have left to help fix my phone is the, Apply Update From ADB. (Yes, I tried that one too) Which is why I need your help!
Here's a quick scenario of what happens after trying that last option. (Apply Update From ADB)
-Basically my phone then asks me to ADB Sideload files.
-I connect my phone to my PC. (Windows 7, x64)
-Check my Device Manager to see if it's fully connected, but my D801 connects each time under SAMSUNG Android Phone - AndroidNet Sooner Single ADB Interface. (which I know has to be wrong)
-I go into my CMD Prompt, to access my installed ADB Shell, to search for attached ADB Devices. (Yes, it sees my phone as: LGD801cb55c4e4 sideload)
-I proceed to try to sideload a ROM and after about 30% Signature Verification, Fails causing my D801 to Abort Installation. (no matter what I throw at it, IMG/KDZ/TOT files fail as well.)
Now when it comes to trying the methods listed in: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 to Flash Stock Firmware, I simply can't because my D801 doesn't connect to my PC in Device Manager under Ports or QHSUSB_BULK. (it connects each time under SAMSUNG Android Phone - AndroidNet Sooner Single ADB Interface.
I've also tried SRKtool_2.1_droidth which ends up leaving me at another dead end.
If you have the time please help, and or point me in the right direction.
I've already installed the needed drivers:
qualcomm-driver
adb-setup-1.4.3
LGMobileDriver_WHQL_Ver_4.2.0
Downloaded all the corresponding files to my PC for my D801:
Firmware Files (KDZ & TOT also Extracted)
LG Flash Tool 2014 & 2015
SRKtool_2.1_droidth
Megalock DLL File
D801 DLL File
LGUP
Silly suggestion perhaps, but after freaking out for about an hour when this happened to me I ended up realizing I could reboot to TWRP using the hard keys. Honestly, I only mention it because I was trying everything else too. If you didn't already try it (I didn't see it in your description) I think it's the power key and volume down key while it's off and as soon as you see the splash screen, release them both and immediately repress and hold them both until you see TWRP. Just a thought.
I loved that phone!
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Just tried your technique @C-Tec. Thank you. But that only brings up the Factory Data Reset Screen (to Erase all user data & Restore default settings) instead of the TWRP Recovery screen. (so that's a dead end)
Because, after selecting Yes, Erasing data and Restoring default settings, my phone reboots in to the same loop I started from, as if I never did anything to remedy the situation.
Update on my progress:
-So I was able to get in to Download Mode. (holding the VOLUME UP button, while the phone is off)
-Followed by the Firmware Update Screen after plugging my phone in to my PC via USB. (which then read my phone as - LG Mobile USB Serial Port. (COM8) under Ports in Device Manger)
-I then Flashed the D801 Stock Lollipop KDZ. (by using the LG Flash Tool 2014)
-Waited for the progress bar to completely fill to 100% and BOOM! I fixed my problem.
-Android Lollipop running like NEW. (that's 2014 NEW :crying
-Now to retry Lineage OS 15.1.
Here's a helpful Video Clip, to understand how to use the Flash Tool. -
Just search for: LG G2 - Fix LG Logo Stuck/ Boot Loop Fix / Flash Firmware - EASY METHOD in YouTube.
Being that I'm low ranked I cant post any links just yet, sorry.
I even went out of my way and ordered a LG V20 off of Swappa, which arrives tomorrow. Due to this issue.

Honor 20 Pro bricked

I was trying to fixed my honor 20 pro after atempting the root process, beacuse I thought the warning message (your device is unlocked and can't be trusted) on the boot screen was the cause of why I could't find some apps on the play store such as Netflix. (and I don't need the root anymore)
After I read some guides and tried to restore the system from eRecovery (without success) I tried the bootloader cmd method with the phone connected via usb in fastboot mode.
Unfortunatly i probably deleted some img files by prompting fastboot flash bootloader (but i'm not sure) and i bricked the system which is now stucked in a boot loop.
I'd like to restore the whole system with a factory firmware but I can't find the official one.
I only found one on androidhost.ru but it seems to do not contain any KERNEL.img or SYSTEM.img
Should I asked to the technical support the firmware or does anyone can provide a proper one? or any other solutions?
I'd just like to restore my honor as a new phone without root.

Help me g.co/ABH error occurs.

I'm using lg v60a001lg.
After unlocking the bootloader, magisk routing was blocked, causing mishaps while trying various things.
I gave up and restored the recovery ab and boot ab to pure and locked the bootloader.
And there was an error at g.co/ABH (picture attached).
Factory reset wasn't for shows.
I opened the bootloader again just in case.
However, you can only see the v60 logo and automatically enter the menu with fast boots.
Most of them only have a partition of QFIL.
Download mode and EDL mode (QUALCOM 9008) mode are available.
It cannot be reinstalled through kdz. There's no kdz. Cross-flash is not possible with v600tm due to different partitions.
Please help me to solve it. Please help me.

How can I repair semibrick on Realme x3 Superzoom (RMX2086)? - Only works Fastboot Mode

Hi, I have a semibrick on my X3 Superzoom (Global), and I can't seem to restore the original firmware. When it was working properly, I think the phone was updated to the latest version available in Europe (RMX2081EU_11.A.50), hence Realme UI 1.0.
I do not remember very well what I did, it's been a few weeks since my "screw up", I must have flashed an untrusted firmware, the thing is that when rebooting the screen looks black and goes into a continuous bootloop, but allows to enter fastboot mode with power + Vol down (I know because I can launch fastboot commands). Curiously, when it goes into bootloop you don't see the Realme logo, I discovered that the logo is there but with the screen illumination at minimum, and you can only glimpse a little if you put it under a lamp. Very strange.
Since it can go into fastboot mode I have tried flashing several firmwares for my phone, RMX2086 and none of them repair brik. I have tried always by command line because with MsmDownloadTool I don't have login access and with Realme Flash Tool always shows error "cannot find central directory", I have tried also with QFil and I can't get it to stay stable on the port.
I flash with command line with "fastboot flash" all .img files of super, recovery, boot, boot, dtbo, vbmeta (in that order) but it does nothing. Furthermore, I have tried with several ofp files like for example the following file from realmefirmware.com, which seems to be the last released full version of Realme UI 2.0 (I have tried also with Realme UI 1.0 versions):
RMX2086GDPR_11_C.11_2022011318270168.zip (I decrypt the ofp file inside to extract the .img files.).
Interestingly, I can flash TWRP Recovery (it works, and you see the screen with normal TWRP recovery) and from the recovery I can flash a Custom Recovery like PixelPlusUI. The phone boots (no logo visible) in CustomROM normally, but after a while of use the screen turns off but working ROM.
What should I do? Although I have some flashing experience, I'm pretty much stuck. Can anyone give me any suggestions?
Sorry with making it so long, but I wanted to explain this as best as possible so it is well understood.
When you already upgrades to Android 11, you can not flash custom rom, otherwise it bricks, because all the custom roms required android 10 ROM system, you may downgrade using flash tool (I tried but failed to flash any stock rom using any tool, only able to flash using fastboot commands)

It's been over a year since it happened, I didn't find a solution on my own, and since it was still under warranty, I sent it to the official technical service and a couple of weeks later I received it back with the firmware working.
