I'd like to replace my old BB Passport with a brand new Superphone.
But I'm hesitate between S8 and Mate 10 pro.
During my comparison, I'd like to know if someone had ever tried this wonderful app with the Mate 10 pro?
I'm making my priority features list, and between the two models, my heart swings.
Please please!!! Help me...

It's an app for Samsung..
Don't need dex with Mate 10. There is a desktop mode

Requirement is S8 or S8+..
By definition, it doesn't work on another brand but you can try also and tell us ?

i would say... depends.
what do you value in the phone? what do you like or don't like?
i'm not a fan of curved edges, so, if it's between Honor9 and S7edge, my choice is obvious -- Honor9.
processor and storage wise, i believe honor9 is the better one too.

I mean no offense to any providers, but I seriously think that fancy phones are a waste of money.
Still, if you wanna go and get one, I would recommend the S7 as the robustness, look and feel and the service the phone is offered by the company.
If you want more features and power, Honor 9 is the way to go!

I bought the honor 9 in a preorder sale.
But now I have some concerns regarding the version. it is a Chinese multi-language ROM, I use Hebrew and English fonts, should I encounters any problems? how does a Chinese version affect me?
Is there a way to change ROM?
Is it rooted?

Honor 9 is HERE. And no it is not rooted. No phone is rooted by default.

Hey guys n00b question: what kind of roms are currently available for the honor 9, and how easy is to root/unlock bootloader? Following that question to potential Pokemon players, does root permissions block use of the game and android pay?

Side note the Honor 9 has different models, China, Europe, US, India to ne a few. Now to get the full radio band for your network provider you need to check it support your network provider if your get the device from outside of you regional zone.
If the Honor 9 radio bands are set up like the Honor 8s well your going to have difficulty depending on network provider.
Best thing to do if buying from say China is to make sure you buy one that fully work back in your country..
What kind of storage does the honor 9 use? I can't find any information on it. Was hoping for UFS obviously but considering it isn't mentioned anywhere I presume it's emmc 5.1

It is the only reason I do not have a M20 Pro, honestly from what I have read I do not think improvements are coming either. I agree that in it's current form the AOD is pretty pointless, it's just an always on clock mostly.
It's garbage on emui. Google nailed it with their pixels. It's absolutely perfect, and huawei should copy it.

As you said they just copy Pixel as they have the best Always on display. I know it from my Pixel 2 XL.
I don't even use Always on display on my Mate 20 Pro as it serves no point
So, are you gonna get the Hongmeng on our Mate Pro 20 by the end of 2019?
Sounds like, it will be available for all Huawei, and not only on their upcoming devices, the OS will even work on non-Android devises !!! WOW !!!

Its not meant to be android replacement. Its or for TVs and other things, not for phones. Next year it may come to PCs
I don't know why people would think they'd even try putting it on an existing Android device, the process would be far to risky/costly for them

Well it's simple use any sharing app and share the camera application to other smartphone. I have tried that thing using 'Share it'

I saw that the oppo "game space" is over and I don't know how to solve this problem.
I've tried to reinstall, modify battery settings but nothing works...
