Recently I tried to Factory Reset my Sony Xperia M4 Aqua Dual which was running on Marshmallow. It reset perfectly then starts the welcome screen.
When connecting wifi on the welcome screen it stuck at "Checking Connection This May Take A While" screen & there's no option to skip. I've tried with both sim on or off.
My phone is not bootloader unlocked. Pressing the volume down and power button doesn't work. Please help.

Hello, sorry for caps on the title but that is to get you attention.I factory reseted my prestigio pap5307duo and i got to the setup wizard when i get to login to prestigio account on that next it goes prestigio wizard stopped and loops me into the wizard again,i cant boot into recovery when i go any volume button (tried up,down and both) it just stays black (also power button with volume, not a complete dumbass)
i need the phone so much.
Anyone,please
You will have to refresh the stock rom for the device. When you factory reset it wiped out some files needed. It's a known trick some low end oem use to have less storage on their devices.
Good luck

Hello. I have a problem with my phone. I forgot to delete root and decided to click the wireless update provided in the phones settings. While rebooting in this process the phone has become stuck on the 'no command' screen and then times out and repeats in a loop. I have managed to enter the recovery stage and try several of the options on this screen but with no success.
Something very much the same just happend to my HT17 Pro with non-rooted stock ROM and regular suggested update. It is stuck in on and off "HOMTOM" logo and trying to boot into recovery end in "no command"...
just pres power + vol up one time. worked for me!
Hey guys,
Yesterday I rooted my Mate 10 Pro with this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/how-to/how-to-huawei-mate-10-pro-standard-t3709535
and it all worked great. Today I tried to install iYTBP using the manual method which caused me to enter a bootloop.
eRecovery screen popped up and told me I need to factory reset my phone so I did.
after finishing the reset the "Choose your language" screen showed and I followed the process.
After a few screen the"Checking for updates" screen popped and just infinitely continued to search for updates. I tried restarting the phone but It's either getting stuck on that screen or getting stuck on a screen that only shows the word "Drive" in the title( I'm guessing that's probably the screen in which I'm supposed to enter my google account after a factory reset but it won't load).
Any help is welcomed!
I'll try to add pictures of the screens later on.
Xperia XZ1 keeps freezing and rebooting on "Android is starting.." screen. Can't acce
My friend's Xperia XZ1 is acting funky. It boots up, let's you enter password and during "Android is starting" loading screen it freezes up and reboots. Sometimes if you boot it up but won't unlock it it will freeze anyway and reboot.
I've Googled and tried different button combinations to enter he recovery mode but nothing works. I entered the safe mode but it's no different from the regular mode and it keeps freezing just as usual, so I guess it's not an app problem.
Fiddling with the buttons during startup sometimes gets me to a black screen with a wrench and screwdriver in a triangle icon but it disappears in a minute or so and the phone continues into regular boot.
Should mention that it's a japanese model for the japanese market which made me start to believe that there's no recovery mode at all. I heard that there's no recovery on the stock firmware on xperia phones, if that's the truth then wtf, Sony? It's an sim free unrooted device. I can't tell the real model number because there's nor box or any documents left
He wants to keep the files on the phone. Can we do a back up at this point?
What should I do?
