Hey Guys. I've been looking at Threads and found many Pixel XL 2 Roms for phones Like the Note 8 & OP5t
IS IT possible to have any kind of these Roms for our lovely V30. I have the Feeling that we will not have many Devs for this Phone. I would like to donate & test new Roms...
Thx again.
Hello, how are you?
I am wanting to buy a new phone for Christmas.
I am thinking about a poco f1 for the specs and price.
But I would like to use a stock android experience.
How is the poco with the current unofficial LineageOS?
How is the performance and stability?
Also, is the poco with LineageOS thanks to the better 845 Soc and 6gb of ram a better phone than a pixel 2 xl?
How does the LineageOS rom with gapps compare to the stock Android on the Pixel 2 xl?
And the camera? How is LineageOS with the bsg pixel camera port against the Pixel 2 xl?
Thank you for your help.
Regards

I bought my Poco F1 roughly a month ago, and I flashed lineage os a couple of days ago. I really like lineage, it feels very solid and quick, not had any issues at all yet. The stock camera that is bundled with lineage works well, but doesnt have many options for changing settings. Ive only had a little go with the B.S.G camera ports, and the one I tried seemed to have an issue with the preview when taking pictures. I think I may have turned a setting on by mistake or something. I did have it fully working for a bit, and it worked really well. Overall, I think this phone is great, my only real gripes with it were software based issues, but with lineage, all of those issues have been solved for me.
I cant compare it against the Pixel 2 XL as ive never owned or used one. I can compare it against my previous phone, the OnePlus One And the Poco is miles apart from the One.
If you wanted a full pixel experience, there is a couple of roms which are made to be as close to pixel as possible. LinusTechTips on youtube did a video on it.
Hey to all, just sharing here:
I've built and am sharing my own personal custom ROM for the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Since I really want to only maintain one thread for it (and I have the crosshatch) the main thread for this ROM is in the Pixel 3 XL forum. If you want to check out my work, by all means, come on by: Link
Regards,
Nepo
PS, yes, it works for the regular Pixel 3 (blueline)

No, as it's the same app (Google Camera). Any differences in picture quality are because of the hardware.
Hello Pixel Fam! I have been using Pixel 6 for quite sometime now and I have fallen in love with the Google Ecosystem and Stock Android Experience of the Pixel 6. Haven't really found a fault with my Pixel 6 soo far except for the battery performance which seems to have reduced. I have heard lots of rumors about the Pixel 8 and Google Fold being the next flagship devices to come out from Google and was wondering if I should switch to the Pixel 8? Im not really confident about the Pixel Fold and since they cost a fortune, I'd rather upgrade to Pixel 8 or Pixel 7.
I would like to know all of your suggestions, Should I get the Pixel 7 or wait for the Pixel 8 to get launched? Or rather just hold on to my Pixel 6?
All replies would be highly appreciated!

Honestly, wait for the Pixel 8 since you dont seem to be bothered by the Pixel 6. So I guess you can give some more time since Pixel 8 is on the way to the market!
if you have no real reason to switch, stick with the P6.
P7 has zero advantages.
