Hey there, someone can save an i9300? When I turn on the devace he show me ever the same screen, (first screen of presentation: there is written Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-I9300). If I connect it to my computer it is not detected and can not be recharged. I can go into recovery mode and it's a TWRP. Thank you for your time.
Post scrittum: I don't speak English so I apologize for the probably errors.
Have you tried to wipe the cache partition from TWRP? If that doesn't fix the issue, you may have to wipe the data partition too. Don't wipe the data partition unless you have a backup of the data or don't need the data.

So my phone has been acing very strange lately a lot of functions just crash and even the battery drains very very fast. Sometimes I get an yellow triangle besides the battery when charging it while off.
I think I have flashed it too many times for it to handle. So I'm just wondering if t would be a problem for my phone if I decided to format the whole "USB drive" from my computer. Leave no traces of anything. Will I be able to use my phone at all?
Thanks for anwer
That won't reset it to a factory default.
Sent from my Galaxy S2.
You can also format it through settings->memory... Plus, you can go to recovery and wipe data, cache and dalvik cache.. This will allow you to go back to factory settings...!

So... how it worked?
Please... share your experience i would like to do the same!
Boot to CWM recovery mounts and storage format sdcard system cache and date .
Phone is now 100% empty and therefore will not boot .
Flash stock rom via Odin .

I've been searching the internet up and down, and I haven't found an actual solution to the problem I'm currently having.
I just rooted my AT&T Galaxy S III earlier because I wanted to flash cyanogenmod 10 onto my phone. Admittedly, this was the first time I ever even tried rooting an Android device, and I think I messed up somewhere. I can access CWM, and I can get into download mode. When I go to turn the phone on, however, I get stuck on the Galaxy S III logo screen. Whenever I go into CWM and try to do well, just about anything, I keep getting one of two errors, "error mounting /sdcard!" or "E: Can't mount /sdcard/" I don't have an external sdcard on my phone, so the only sdcard I have is the internal one. Is there someway, anyway I can get my phone back into working order? Any help would be appreciated.
As per your post, You get stuck at Samsung galaxy s3 logo screen. It's called as bootloop.
Solution
1.Go to Recovery (CWM, if you have done everything right)
2.Wipe data/Factory reset.
3.Wipe chache.
4.Reboot.
If your phone starts & if you dont find your SD card(internal or external) , mount it manually through CWM.
Hope this solves your problem.
Hi, I recently rooted my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and everything was working fine. A couple of months later, I put the tablet in airplane mode because I didn't want to drain the battery when I wasn't at home. When I got home and removed it off airplane mode, the device appeared to be frozen so I held the power down to restart it; this normally fixed most issues I've had with it.
Only this time, it boots to the screen with the Samsung logo and is just stuck there. I was wondering since I did root my tablet, is there any way to restart it properly without doing a factory reset which will cause me to lose all my data/apps, etc...
Did you try to restart device from recovery?
Could you please describe what you mean by boot to recovery?
Hold power+volume down, you will be directed to recovery, there choose reboot device, if that wont help try factory reset, or flash stock rom through Odin
Any solutions that would not wipe the data?
If not is there a way for me to access the data and save it prior to me doing the factory wipe like hooking it up to my pc and transferring the data?
I have recovery but noticed I never took a backup. I am wondering if I did a backup now and did a factory wipe; would it wipe out the recovery/root? If not; would I be able to restore the backup and get my data back?
I tried the wiping cache but no luck; still just goes to the logo screen and no further.

I had this same problem on my tab. However, I just got out of it using the RECOVERY mode as was explained above.
It will not wipe your data. Just choose the option to reboot the system and that will fix it for you. I had same concern about wiping my data so when I saw that reboot option, I selected it and it has helped to rectify my issues. My tab has finally boot completely and I'm once again able to use my tab.
Hello everyone.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-9100) that has a dorimanx kernel and cyanogenmod 10 (nightly... I don't remember the version).
My problem is that the phone won't boot up.
If I turn the phone on I get the Samsung galaxy s2 screen with the yellow warning icon and then the screen of the dorimanx kernel but after that the phone blacks out and nothing happens.
I don't get the cyanogenmod boot animation.
But the phone is on, I know this because if I press the power botton of the phone, the lights of the menu and the return bottons turn on. It's weird.
I can make the phone boot in download and recovery mode perfectly (manually, pressing the physical bottons of the phone).
I have considered going into the recovery mode and installing cyanogenmod again but I'm not sure about what could happen to the files of the phone as I have some pictures thst I don't want to lose.
I have some questions about what to do with this situation:
- If I can install the rom again from the internal sd of the phone, it would fix it?
- Do you, guys recommend md to do a full wipe and format before I install the rom? I have once installed a rom in an old phone without doing the format, only doing the wipe and the filled of the phone were still there after the installation.
- Is possible to get the files from my phone in this state? I mean if I connect the phone to my pc, could I get the pictures back?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
So you've booted with this rom before? You could try flashing the rom again, or just try wiping cache/dalvik cache(or both). You won't lose photos or data doing this. If this doesn't work you can do a full wipe and install again(if you don't want to lose photos etc, you should be able to backup from recovery to your pc)
Just in case its your first time trying to flash this rom/kernel combo, make sure they are compatible too

+1 Great advice. Seems you've been actively helping out members. Keep up the great work! (Final year of high school now so I won't have much time to contribute as I would normally do).

To add on to noppy's advice, you can still access your internal storage while in recovery mode by going into mounts and storage and selecting mount mass storage. A full wipe (factory reset, wipe all cache partitions and format system) is what I usually recommend to people if they want to install a new or different rom. And installing the same rom might and might not fix your problem. I think it's better off doing full wipe then flash.
I have gt 19100 may be affected by charger so nows shwing only samsong screen but not open and my laptop could not recognize it plz. any one have an idea about.
Follow my tutorial to get back to Philz Touch recovery. Then TWRP with IsoRec Kernel :

My encryption failed, forcing me to factory reset my S4 mini :crying: But when I hitteed the factory reset button, it wiped my data (took a minute or so), reeboted, and I landed at the same screen as before. Also wiping cache, dalvic cache, and formatting /data didn't help
I've read severeal very old threads here, saying that you got to reinstall the stock firmware. Is this still possible??? Can somebody tell me where to get the right 3 part firmware for my S4 mini (DTM)???
How the encryption problem occured
HELP!!! My phone forces me to factory reset, but the SD-Card encryption key will be lost then!
I can still reach the recovery and got a backup from Titanium of all apps on my SD-Card (thank god I did it yesterday). But the SD-Card is encrypted, and the key will be lost in case I do the factory reset. I can still access the CMW recovery and even can backup the system (just /data is still not working), ADB is enabled. Does anybody know how to safe the SD-Card key/unencrypt the SD-Card?
PS. I still know date and time when I did the encryption of both storages
How the failture happened:
I started the unencryption progress, and went out of my room, the phone still plugged in.
A few minutes I came back, the screen was still black. It also didn't reacted when you pressed a key. I thought something went wrong and the phone shut down complety, so I pressed the power button for a few secs. Then it booted, but then I got the message that I got to factory reset my device.
It seems like the unencrypting has never started, but the device thinks it has started, and therefore fails to boot.
Bump
Please help me, all my game stats are stored on the SD Card and it would be horrible if I would loose them:crying:
Another bump
Other problem now, so I brought the thread back to the top
