Hey mate. Try 2 performance enhancements. Ssd boost an Roehsoft ram expander (the ram expander costs money but works reliably up to android 7 nougat). Make the ram disk speed in your data an 32000 kilobytes with 4000mb size an 100% swap. It really helps. Will only work with root. Not guaranteed to work in android 9 Oreo. Also do antutu benchmarks in the morning after cords been unplugged. Your cell is very cool then an your score will increase.

I researched this. You need to use very early twrp from 2017. After you install the ROM using your current twrp. Its the only one that won't ask you to format data in your cell after installation

Okay, this is not an official Beta. Some people ported over the Le 2 23s. No, it's not official, and no, it won't be 100% stable.

This new one have stock icons and stock launcher. The user is the same one who post the first one. But they called beta closed so is a lil bit stable. Btw im using ur Rom 23s lol.
Guys, I bought this device recently, the x829 version of 64 GB and 4 of ram, and I would like to know which rom is more stable now? Mokee, RR, CM? Fingerprint and IR are working normally? Camera?
Anyone who can share the experience would help a lot.

For Android 6.X it is better to stick with Cuoco92 ROM as it supports OTA weekly and everything is stock and just debloated. Install Nova Launcher and you are good to go.
For Android 7.X now that the camera is working I am looking for the people that have already updated to 7.X for daily use to tell us our experiences and bugs and see if it is worth it or better to wait.
I am using mokee with Android 6
Everything works for me ?
I'll wait few days to get some nougat release for daily use

More battery life with this rom?
All have problems except those based on stock and just debloated. Best are china s21 or s23.
Other ROMs have many unpleasant surprises, are always broken somewhere and you never know it until you need a specific feature and then realize you can't use it.

Sorry but i don't see any problem or anything broken in AOKP, Unofficial LOS and Mokee all MM and all by andr68rus.
Only the Nougat versions have issues. BTW stock rom has various issues and problems, one of them being SOT, battery life, not supporting QC3 and i'm not even mentioning performance...
Please tell me which problems do you find on the custom roms stated above...?
My stock x829 supports QC 3.0 even metered it to make sure.

Most stable rom is unofficial lineage os 13 by andr68rus

I'm using the last Indian stock and don't see any problem.
Several days on DU rom Nougat 7.1.2. I'll be staying with this for a while. I've not found any bugs, at least those that effect my use, and can be fully themed. By now I usually find a good excuse to flash something else, but andr68rus' DU is a true beauty IMO.
hi Guys,
I have a new X829 and I'm looking to flash the best ROM from a stability and battery perspective.
I've been a fan of CM in the past so would have a bias towards Lineage and prefer stable versions which have OTA support rather than nightly's or beta versions etc.
Is there any reason not to just go with the official 7.1.1 Lineage ROM? http://www.lineageosrom.com/2017/03/Download-LineageOS-LeEco-Le-Max-2.html

Why you guys even use that? If you want miui, simply flash latest miui EU weekly 8.3 which is 30.3.2017...
If you are flashing that now, you are already a month behind...eu miui is atleast somewhat cleaned of crap that comes with global and chinese.

I installed this update. Now charging takes very long time. 30 to 34 in 40 minutes. WTF. Any solution?

is it more stable than 8.1.1.0?
Its same stable, but its newest...and if which weekly causes trouble, just flash one before that and skip one version...but mostly no big bugs, because all versions are tested before... The point is stable versions receive OTA and are for people that dont want to upgrade frequently, dev. releases are more recent...

If I do encounter bugs, will I be able to easily downgrade to previous version?
My Redmi 5 Plus updated to 9.5.9 and it broke the front camera. It literally disappears from the OS like it doesn't exist. I managed to downgrade from the local upgrade thingy in settings the last time. This time, i had the update to 9.5.11 ready. I thought maybe that bug would be fixed this time. And well, the front cam is gone again and I can't downgrade because it says older version. I've looked up everywhere and literally found no similar issues. Is my phone the only one plagued with this bug?

Yes i tried looking up custom ROMs. There's no lineage yet. It does have official Ressurection Remix rom. But I'd have to unlock the bootloader and that'll void the warranty. I think I'll wait a year before delving into custom ROMs. Also there's the new MIUI 10 to look forward to.
