Help Newbie here,
I upgraded from miui MM to Oreo, everything working fine
But there's 1 thing bothered me :crying: each time I change Oreo to Oreo ROM, the problem is I can't upload photo to Facebook via browser, tried 5 different browser nothing changes, tried 5 other ROM is the same,
Is there anyone faced problem like me?

Using facebook app, working fine. This source still construction, be patient and use existing ones.

I'm using Xiaomi Mi 4 and encounter the same problem. You can try again with Samsung Internet Browser :good:

If you feel that way, fine, but nobody wants to hear your moaning or that you are going back to Samsung. Anyway, afaik Gapps packages are really intended for installing on AOSP based custom ROMs such as CM, that adopt the Nexus filesystem. They may or may not work on OEM skinned firmwares. If they do then you can consider it lucky. If they don't, as with this ROM (an OEM dev ROM, ffs) then that's life. Not something to be complaining about here.

i have reinstalled the original build ins, because of several reasons
this year i have buyed 3 chinesee phones nearly same class as max2

Does anyone use Geofence and works correctly? I have configured it in the admin application for smart blocking apps, wifi and sound but it doesn't work!!!
hello guys so after i bought the phone and few days microphone stopped working i tested it with phone doctor too , i did restore factory reset and microphone works, then after 1-2 days again stopped now ive made another factory reset and it works again.. but what makes it stop working ?

Have you tried upgrading to the latest EUI 5.8.023s stable ROM?
Or have you tried a custom ROM?

im on 16s and my device dont have update icon for ota and i dont want custom roms yet

Hmm sorry to break the news to you bud but the 16s is a modified version of EUI ROM by the vendors who sold you the phone. Mine had the same 16s and it sucks. YouTube would randomly freeze the video feed but audio would keep going and notifications would fail to pop up because of the aggressive memory management 16s has.
The only way to flash to Indian 19s or Chinese 23s (the stock version of Indian 19s isn't so bad but Chinese EUI ROM builds are atrocious and filled with bundled garbage software and you have to try modding in Google Play if you want it..) is to use your PC and fastboot flash those ROMs.
Here's a guide about it but it does require unlocking your bootloader to flash a different version of EUI ROM since 16s is update blocked.

hm tnx about that info but but im not facing any of those problems and except that microphone off the rom is running great ,i dont change something that is not broken yet maybe if some stock android 7 comes

I can solve it putting the speaker and retourn to normal speaker... but the problem return... I don't know what do

this should be a problem from the LInage rom my problem is different microphone not working at all like some app is turning it off in build.prop or something

for now still work after last hard reset so i have doubts for devolop options unlock or some app that i instal make it turn off or something
any1 can help how to fix or which row to search in build.prop for microphone cause i think its disabled somehow and microphone doesnt work only for recorder apps when i talk to the phone it works fine before when i enabling devolopers options makes it to not working for recoredering
Hello, I have a redmi note 4X, i tried a bunch of oreo ROMs (both 8.0 and 8.1) and they all seem to have issue connecting to hidden wifis.
Does anyone else notice this problem? Is there a fix to it?

This issue is in all the roms, hopefully the devs are working on it. It has already been pointed out by a lot of members

Hello everyone one. Somebody Help me pls
2 days ago I updated my honor 8x(jsn-l22) to android 9 and it was awful. I didn't like so I decided to downgrade to 8.1. I used hisuite to downgrade but the speed of downloading was really bad so I couldn't do it. So I gave it to someone to do it. He flashed the official (8.1.0 oreo) with some tool and when the flashing operation was in 99% it faced with an error user data part. And now my phone is running Android 8.1 but not correctly. The build number is changed to this
(chipset-miamic20 8.2.0.001(00X4)) and system UI is totally different and I don't know what to do now.
We tried to flash other versions but actually nothing is able to be flashed. It comes with error even at the first step of flashing. Every ROM we tried flashing all were unsuccessful and came with error.
Please if there is any way to fix this problem, let me know

Not sure which tool it was. But we tried to fix it with cigma box, even the box could not flash the ROM successfully!!

sigma box doesn't support hisilicon kirin 710
but eft dongle does 2.4 and up :fingers-crossed:

Unfortunately Iran. I haven't find anything
I read a post about Hisuite in a Facebook group and successfully downgraded to Oreo. PIE was slow glitchy and battery was bad on it. Although i liked the look of it a lot. Specifically in some apps and the usual app switch transitions.

I don't have the screenshot of that post anymore i remember the steps.
You connect ur fone to laptop and connect hisuite. Backup ur fone via hisuite. Go to updates and click install older versions. There u ll find oreo update. Install that update. Do not disconnect ur fone in the process. And also, remove any lock passcode etc. After installation fone ll restart a couple of times ans voila. U r in heaven again ???

Google services are not working at all. Can anybody help please? My model is JSN-AL00a and it was bought on ebay so I suppose it was made Chinese market.
I've installed many Ten roms(Havoc, Lineage Test and port, pixel experience, etc) but all of those are having mic problems. At the start everything just works fine but after a days, hours or weeks it starts failling, sometimes it doesn't work and when it works present a terrible recorded audio quality, I don't use any kind of audio mod. Please help me, im start thinking that I'm the only one who is happening for this cuz I'm been asking this on many roms's thread without answer nor solutions

Hi, my phones mic also not working. And it was suddenly. Now I saw your words and remember about my mics problem was suddenly. Maybe it was how you describe.. Do you flash miui 9 rom back ? and it works on miui 9 roms ? Please reply.

Mic work fine on any other Android version(stock or custom), it fails just on Android 10 Roms.

My device is a Xiaomi redmi 5 (Rosy). I'm using Pixel Experience Q. and I can confirm you that Los 16 works fine
