Hey guy's,
I own a X829 since like 1 year and I really like it.
I ran it the last few weeks on Resurrection Remix with Android 7.x.x and it was abolutely inconspicuous.
Yesterday - while I was on my way to sleep - I tried to open Whatsapp, and it failed with a FC. I tried it several times again without success.
I decided to reboot the phone, and since then it's dead ^^
The Logo show's up, and thats where the boot end.
With pressed Vol- the screen stay black and the LED is blue (fastboot?). With Vol+ I still can access TWRP, but it seems I can't do anything (the log is flooded with I/O-Error's). When I try to unmount and remount a partition the log only show some error messages.
So... I think the internal memory is damaged. Am I right?
Thanks alot!

Yes it seems internal memory is damaged. Can you access your phone in fastboot mode? Is it visible fastboot device when connected to pc?

Shame! I tried wiping everything/factory reset, but everything end's up with an I/O-Error, not accessible or other error's.
I'll give it a try on my other laptop. On my "new" one I haven't adb installed. But win10 recognize it when plugged in in Fastboot-mode and install the drivers (without any error's). But in the meanwhile TWRP show's every storage as empty and if I'll try to boot TWRP say's that there's no OS.
I ordered a Xiaomi A1 right now, as I wanted back a 4G-B20 phone since a longer time. So it's not the end of the world. But still annoying...
Thanks for your help!
I guess you can try to flash factory image with fastboot. Worth to try

So I rooted my HTC ONE S (villec2) today, and I wanted to flash a custom rom on it. I got a recovery (turned out to be a bad one, but it worked either way.... I noticed way too late it was made for HTC One M8) I got TWRP 2.7.1.0 and I got it working on my phone. I then backed up the system, and realized I messed up the recovery. In the meantime I got a CM 12.1 img on it and wiped the thing. The wipe removed the old Android system and the CM I downloaded was a bad download. If I go to recovery in the bootloader, it will just do the HTC white screen with "Entering Recovery" and the red warning logo but it won't get anywhere. It's just stuck there. So now, I'm stuck with a device that won't boot normally - just stuck on the white HTC screen, will boot into bootloader, and I want to know if there's a way of accessing the internal storage without being in the operating system. The worst thing is, there's no external SD Card, all just internal... Please god help me. I'm really stressing out about this since it's the only phone I have and if I lose it.... well I'm practically f-ed.... :crying: I know that I messed a few things up really badly and I'm not sure what state the phone is in.
Also just to add, the phone is barely loading up right now. I'm really scared since it's my only phone and it won't even boot normally right now. It's really acting strange, it was on 90% battery but now it might just be dead... i don't know.... someone please help
I honestly think I screwed it up.... All it does now is just a white flash / flicker when I hold the power button (both only power button and vol down) and that's it. I'm really disappointed right now but oh well.... Maybe just because the battery is not charged.... Also been looking around the other threads and looks like a lot of people had the same issue but with 0 replies...

I have no way of trying the stock rom. I cannot access the phone itself because I deleted the OS. There's a weird thing, that if I plug the USB to the computer, it does the connect windows sound but the phone's internal storage is still not accessible.... So as it turns out I can get to the freaking bootloader but then it just turns off with a white flicker a second later.... I have no clue what to do :crying:
try to hook your device with windows and hold the Volume Down and Power
to see if it can detect it

Alright. I slept through the night and now I'm here trying to resolve this again. Status now, is that when I try to boot it up, it just shows a white flicker and won't turn on. no matter if i try to boot in bootloader or normally. The device doesn't appear to be charging when I plug it in because it doesn't show the LED light for charging. I think it's hard bricked. I tried other threads, showing bright light to the proximity sensor, but nothing happened.
//edit// - My bootloader was unlocked, and I was on S-ON (HTC ONE S, S3 villec2) that might change on your phone and might make the process different
So I fixed it. I will leave the tutorial for anyone in the future that might be having the same issue. If you "locked yourself out" of your system, eg. no OS, and broken recovery just plug it into the computer, try somehow getting into bootloader, go into fastboot and plug the usb cable to your computer so you're in Fastboot USB. Then you can flash a recovery on the phone using a fastboot command. I believe it's fastboot flash recovery _filename_. Just google that, there'll be plenty. Then you have the recovery and you're back on track. After that you can get the rom you wanted. Just don't make my mistake, and check if your device is exactly the same as the files you're downloading for it. I messed up there . Anyway, good luck everyone!

Happy to hear that u have fixed your phone add "solved " to the title and add a fast tutorial for help purpose

My phone model is Micromax Knight 2 E471.
It was working fine but it all happened all of a sudden. I was trying to connect my phone to the computer to access some file. Suddenly, I got a message on my screen that Encryption interrupted with some text and a button to reset. I rebooted the phone but it had the same message and I had no option but to click on the Reset button. From that time until now... it does not want to boot.
Then I searched for it on google and tried to start with two key combinations Power+VolumeUp and Power+VolumeDown. Power+VolumeDown. does not do anything but Power+VolumeUp get me to a recovery screen that says failed to mount /system, /sdcard, /cache and so many things (screenshot attached).
From the recovery option, I tried
1. wipe data/factory reset - doesnt do anything
2. wipe cache partition - doesnt do anything
Then I took it to Micromax service center. They said, OS needs to be reloaded. I paid 250/- and got it reloaded but still the issue was not resolved. Now there is a new problem. When I start the phone, it appears that it is rebooting but there is absolutely nothing on the screen. The screen is completely blank and black. The strange part is that, it keep vibrating after every minute or so which makes me feel that it is caught in a boot loop but nothing is displayed on the screen. The Service center guys says that there could either be a display issue or motherboard issue and in both cases, the hardware cost would be more. But I feel it is a software issue.
I again googled it and got to a page https://firmwarefile.com/micromax-e471 where I downloaded the firmware. The firmware folder had a file "8939_fastboot_all_images" which is a windows batch file. I installed the driver, executed the 8939_fastboot_all_images batchfile and went to the recovery screen I got from Power+VolumeUp key combination. Selected reboot to bootloader. I got lot of things in the ms-dos window but still the problem is unresolved.
I appreciate if someone here could help me what to do next.
Thanks
Something wrong with the mount points, maybe? Have you tried flashing a custom recovery like TWRP?

I cannot do anything with a screen with no display.
Can you tell me how to flash a custom recovery when the phone is in boot loop
Thanks
Your phone seems to have a Snapdragon SOC. Sorry but I'm pretty much useless with that. If it was an mtk you could have removed the battery and use SP Flash tool. Maybe someone else can help you with this.
Good luck.

First, dont post something like "bump", you can get ban.
2nd, if you cant flash, this tool may have. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71705583&postcount=5
This is only one tool can flash rom in this situation. If it not work, it could be hardware issue, not software.
Edit: after install qualcomn usb driver, make sure your phone is turn off, hold volume down button while plug usb cable (some phone need volume up, some need both of them, some doesnt need any button). Remember dont touch power button. If pc detect your phone like Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader, you can using emmc.

Sorry for that!
First of all ToolStudio eMMC Download Tool link does not work. I downloaded the 50MB+ zip file and extracted, it asks for a password which I already put but it doesnt do anything.
Then I downloaded a downgraded version from here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B7SVwjaFGLv_by1OSlMtaU9tQVE but it does not work. mMMC Download or Multil Download does not show RAM, Boot Image etc. The comments on that page also shows that there are so many people who are unable to do it. Do you know of a reliable download source for ToolStudio eMMC Download Tool?
Or do you have any other solution?
Thanks
AM also facing that problem with e471
Always showing flashing successfully .
But booting into recovery mode..
Need solution dear

Bro, mine is x821 4gb ram. Do a thing. Download the stock firmware, rename it to update and Put it on a USB. Open the recovery.
Stock frimwere mean, not the latest updated one. The first frimwere in wich the phone came out.
For TWRP, connect the USB as OTG after opening the recovery. go to mount, select the OTG option and check it's opening or not. If not, restart the recovery and do it again. No success means try different USB device. For me, it refused to connect wirh any of SD cards. I used HP pendrive. Go to advanced settings, select syatem, cache, dalvik cache, internal and wipe everything. Then go to instal, select the firmware. It will start installing. If notx then it's not a correct firmware. After install, reboot to system. It will take more time to start. Give enough time. It will work. Phone go above 45°c in this process. Try to cool it. Going above 42°c is not good for mobile.
Sideload didn't worked for me. I tried sideload the firmware, then tried to push the firmware to internal memory via sideload, it just rejected all the commands. Maybe you try it.
If all failed, you have to unbrick it. I didn't came across your phone's service ROM. You need services rom, flash software and qualcomm's drivers. There are lots of walk-through in there about unbrick the phone.
Check androidbrick.com for the guide. If they had, you no need to serch for service rom.
To do this, you have to put the phone in EDL mode. Pressing volume up and down while booting will do it. It won't show any sign of activity in that mode. Don't worry. If incase you thought of not doing it and wanted to reboot, press the power button for about 15 seconds. It take more then 9 seconds for hard reboot.
Okay, i found the guide in there. But they tried on 4gb version. Hope it works on 6tb too

Hello XDA.
After whipping my Moto E out the other day, I noticed that turning it on results in it just... laying there and showing me the "WARNING - BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED" message.
Around 1 1/2 years ago, it just turned itself on after clicking the power button once. Now, not even Fastboot mode helps, as choosing any of the options listed there results in the warning mentioned above. For clarification, here is everything in short:
The phone does NOT turn on normally
Using any option in the Fastboot boot menu restarts the loop (i. e. instantly goes back to warning message)
NEITHER does Minimal ADB and Fastboot recognize the device, NOR does the phone recognize the connection to any PC (I've tried 4 different PCs)
Since Fastboot is unresponsive, suggestions to restore stock recovery are useless to me
Suggestions to perform a factory reset are also useless, since Fastboot is unresponsive.
So, am I right if I suppose that this is a hard brick? Or is this somehow salvageable? If so, please help me...
Thanks in advance!

If its stuck on boot, its definitely not hard brick.
What was the android version when you wiped data?
Was there any custom recovery you used to wipe data?
You possibly wiped /system too, wiping system can result in bootloop.

Sorry, but that doesn't make sense. The phone's been rooted for almost 2 years now, and 1 year ago, it turned on perfectly fine.
But let's assume that actually happened somehow, how do I recover from this?
Hey all,
I installed Omega ROM v6.1 on my i9300 and for a while it was good.
Unfortunately one day it decided to crash and crash hard.
It was stuck in a boot loop and so I decided to wipe all the system, cache and factory reset in TWRP.
I then tried to reflash the ROM but it did not reinstall the full thing.
I believe this was down to the fact that I did not perform format data, as I have some mp3's on the internal storage that I wanted to save.
I tried to copy the files from the internal storage to the external micro sd card. This worked at first but then it quit part way through.
I thought this was due to the low battery so I charged and tried to resume. However whenever I tried to copy or move the files over to the external storage the next time it just failed.
I tried to do this a few times as I noticed it would work for a few seconds or a minute before quitting and so thought I could get them all eventually.
The total size of the folder is 2.4GB.
After doing this a few times my phone then decided to boot loop TWRP. It will sit on the startup screen of TWRP but when you try to do something it then resets.
I am running TWRP version v2.3.1.0.
As mentioned before I cannot connect my phone to a computer as the connection port is broken too.
Any help on this matter would be appreciated. I have searched the web for hours but found no such luck.
Kind Regards,
Shaun
You can try reflashing twrp but don't hold your breath.
Without the usb port the device cannot be flashed unless you have mobile odin, for which your device needs to be working.
The only other way is try holding all of the buttons on the device until it boots. Sometimes devices do a reboot when you hold all of the buttons. You must be exact and get all of them at precisely the same time. If no joy then the phone is goosed.
Thanks bro
Thanks for your help, a week or 2 later it decided not to turn on at all....
