Forget about just kernel... Try using Lineage Os 15.1 (8.1.0). It is the fastest rom I've ever used till now for our j5. (no Volte though but that's not an issue)

Yeah i tried it but it didn,t have volte i need volte bcoz i am using jio sim ,and in last update it have calling issue in 2nd sim...

@gabricone TW Kernel for TW rom so I would say it works but have not tried. It does not cost u anything to try tho? Flash back quasar or backup in case of failure.

no, no touch the internal memory, and works with multirom if you use as primary rom, and flash the stock kernel inside the rom every time u want boot the color os rom.

Just a minor suggestion to edit the download link as currently its not a hyperlink so we can't just click it.
The kernel seems stable, intensely using screen with auto brightness on daytime (50% brightness bar), wifi connection for mixed Facebook, Youtube, web browser.
It took about 28% for 2h30 on screen time which convertered to around 8h+ continuously screen on (of course, for light tasks, not gaming).
