Okay when I got my phone the agreement with my parents was that I was not allowed to root my phone. I'm trying to install Viper4Android but I keep having problems with Busybox or installing the driver. Can/does anyone make/have a zip that can install Busybox, Viper4Android, and the Viper4Android Driver?
I have managed to get Dolby Atmos but nothing more.
Phone: LG Stylo 2 Plus
Android Ver: 6.0.1
Recovery: TWRP
Root: No and not allowed.

Benefits of using Magisk vs SuperSU? Reason I am asking is when I originally rooted my G5 I watched a tut given to me by a friend that I trust and SuperSU was recommended, but the more I read and learn it appears that Magisk may be the better alernative, as for one it is Open Source.
I had an issue when updating from LineagOS 05282017 to 06282017 and having the newest version of SuperSU on the phone - no WiFi, as soon as I placed SuperSU 2.79 back on (instead of 2.82) all worked well, but I am wondering if I may be using the wrong tool in SuperSU instead of Magisk.
So what says the hive - SuperSU or Magisk?

I have installed Custom recovery and rooted my phone to install Viper4android . But After installing viper it's not working in my phone. Turning on viper doesn't change sound quality or anything in my phone. So alternatively I tried using dolby atmos app but that app force closes itself. Plz help if any knows a walkaround for this issue.

Do you checked your root status ?
if it wasn't root ,just use the Magisk to root and in magisk modules , install viper and dolby magisk modules and restart your device ,this will works.
In root checker app its shown that the phone is rooted.
I havnt installed magisk yet. Should i install it and try?

Check your Selinux mode. It must be permissive

So that is why I opened this thread.
When I install Viper4Android it opens and asks to install the drivers.
I choose yes
It installs
I reboot
And when I start Viper4Android it asks to install the drivers again.

What did I try?
rename the file in /vendor/etc/audio_effects.conf
Set Selinux to permissive
Viper4Android does have root permission
Viper4Android is installed via the magisk manager

I just want to ask if is it safe to install busybox on my rooted realme 3 pro using the original OS, I already unlock the bootloader, install twrp and flash magisk just like the tutorial in this forum, I just wanted to install viper4fx but it said it requires BusyBox and install some files from viper4fx, but I'm really scared because I don't want my phone to get bootloop or bricked, I'm using BusyBox and Viper4fx on my old phone models that has 4.4 Android version but I don't know what will be the effect of installing this app in 6.0 and up version when it's rooted
So far has anyone managed to install viper4android or JameDSP via magisk successfully after unlocking bootloader? No dice at my end.
