it seem is possibile... but before i will do.. i want be sure!!!!
otherwidse, where i can founf the B321 oreo files foc C432?

For my opinion, never install c900 on c 432, or you will have to flash oem. Info after to return in c432, it's not a problem to do that but you have to know it
Edit : c900 means no OTA

(C782) and (C781)

With regards to firmware versions on mate 10 pro does anyone know what the difference is between (C782) and (C781) ?
The reason is I'm on 115 (C782) and thinking of updating to 125 (C781)
Wonder what would happen if you flashed a firmware on FF which didn't match up. Would it just refuse to flash or would it mess the phone up?
This is exactly my thought. It's saying available to update on a few firmwares on there. I also wonder what would happen if I tried to update it
You would most likely not be able to install. You'd need to flash oeminfo for the firmware you want to install. (you can flash with a nocheck ramdisk but you'd end up bricked.)
Rebrand here if C781 oeminfo is available: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/how-to/guide-mate-10-flash-oreo-update-package-t3716814
Else you could rebrand to C432 or C636.
So FunkyHuawei Rebrand Tool will be the only way forward to Rebrand. $50 ? I don't think so

Request: Guide to rebrand Chinese models

I have a Chinese Mediapad M5 and I'm looking to flash European firmware on it so I can access Google Play Store etc. I've seen some call this "rebranding".
Thanks to Apo11on's guides I've been able to unlock and root. I was hoping now I could simply flash a European firmware directly from SD card via download mode but it fails.
Any help would be appreciated.
So I think I've figured out what to do, but I'm unable to do it right now as I'm on the latest W09 C00 B124 build and the inbuilt software upgrade doesn't let you flash older builds.
Step 0: Make sure you aren't running the latest build. There has to be a newer version build for C432.
Step 1: Unlock bootloader
Step 2: Download your current C00 stock rom and extract the RAMDISK. This is a backup just in case.
Step 3: Download matching C432 stock rom for the same build. Extract RAMDISK and flash it. [optional: patch with magisk manager for root]
Step 4: Download newer C432 stock rom. Unzip and place UPDATE.APP in a folder called dload on your sdcard root dir (create this folder if doesn't exist). Update via project settings or download mode.
Does this sound correct?
I am trying to do the same for the SHT AL09 C00 LTE China tablet, I think you need to get the C432 oeminfo to rebrand, so far I know some one has only shared a C636 (Asia Pacific) oeminfo in the root thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/me...-root-guide-huawei-mediapad-m5-t3786157/page3) but it is 4 byte larger than expected.
---------- Post added at 02:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:08 PM ----------
Can anyone with a C432 (Europe) SHT AL09 LTE model to share their oeminfo, it can be obtained in adb shell as root by command: "dd if=/dev/block/platform/hi_mci.0/by-name/oeminfo of=/sdcard/oeminfo.img" AFTER rooting!
Thanks a lot and this will enable us rebrand the Chinese model.

Double post, apologies.
Ok that makes sense. Let's see if we can get C432 oeminfos for all 4 models - please upload if you can according to bear_alex's instructions above! Might help to mention the build number of the rom too.
I will update the first post with a full guide and download links when we have this solved.

hi
my Build : CMR-AL09C432B123 Mediapad M5 10.8"
my "oeminfo.img" http://www.mediafire.com/folder/62r2uhqmcy8ly/HuMePadM5

Many thanks! unfortunately I am having the 8 inch model, so I am not able to use that but I am sure this will be useful for some one with a 10 inch model!:good:

"simply flash a European firmware directly from SD card via download mode but it fails"
for flash firmware read this https://forum.xda-developers.com/hon...flash-t3778085
this work on all my Huawei/Honor devices (OREO)
This is apparently the link JamesBott tried to post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ho.../recovery-bkl-nocheck-recovery-flash-t3778085
Curious if this works - and would this work somehow without adb?
In that link the patched recovery ramdisk is for a Huawei Honor View 10 BKL04 and others say it works on the BKL09. I don't think it's going to work on our Mediapad M5s.

seems @stag74 has this model "SHT-AL09C432"
I have sent him a message, for people who need to rebrand to the Chinese Version, I am sharing the oeminfo for the C00 SHT-AL09 LTE model.

I used the HCU client tool to change my version to EU, but still having problem with the rebrand. How do i get you the oeminfo file?
Does anyone have the oeminfo file for a SHT-W09 C636 (8.4 inch version if that matters)? I'd like to rebrand to Asia Pacific. Thank you!
The NoCheck-Recovery is patched stock-recovery and work (by me) on all Huawei/Honor devices with OREO
All have the same OS, but different build ( Hardware, LTE-Bands ... )
There seems to be no exact guide for rebranding our m5.
Exactly how will you use the oeminfo if you have already obtained it to rebrand?
Is flashing the ramdisk image not enough as written in post #2?
Hello. Does anybody have an oeminfo for Huawei Mediapad M5 10.8 Pro CMR-AL19 C432 (European)?
I have CMR-AL19 C00 (Chinese) and want to rebrand it. Tried method from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9-plus/how-to/mod-oeminfo-structure-t3446382.
Could modify my file, but it didn't work properly. It shows me the region hw/eu instead of all/cn, but it changed firmware version number to 8.0.0.046 (86S) instead of 8.0.0.122 (C00). I could install 8.0.0.122 (C432) on it using Firmware Finder on Android. It failed to finish installation, but after I made a low level factory reset from the recovery menu, it booted. I have all of the international apps, Chinese apps are gone, but I can't update the firmware. So, the method is semi-working. Luckily the IMEI is the same. Will restore everything as it was before to start from scratch.
If anybody needs, my oeminfo is here (Huawei Mediapad M5 10.8 Pro CMR-AL19 (C00)) :

Hello,
I've got a chinese version SHT-W09 C00 and i want to rebrand it in the international version.
I think i'll give a try with the method of ravenHeart but i miss the oemfile for my version SHT-W09 C432
Is the country bit in the oemfile the only difference between the chinese and the interntional version?
Could i eventually try with the oemfile file for the 4G version SHT-AL09 or is there a risk of brick?
If somenone could post it, i would be very helpful

With the method I tried you don't need any other oemfile. I took an oemfile from Huawei Mate 10 and Madiapad M5 8.4" just to see as an example, what are the differences between my version and theirs. This script above decompiled all of the content, but you'll be able to modify only text tiles as there are a lot of binary files there, too. And the only thing I did is I changed "all/cn" to "hw/eu" there and compiled it back. So, you need just your own oemfile for it.

Regional Code C55 Italia TIM for Funky Huawey

Hi, I've to rollback my mate 10 pro to branded TIM firmware with Funky Huawei.
When it ask for region code I don't know what to enter. The firmware should be C55 Tim Italia, but I've tried typing tim/it but without success.
What code I've to write as region?
Thanks!

Just C55 if that's the cust you have selected.
Hi, Funky Huawey wrote the region to use for C55 Tim Italia:
"Yes, the C55 is branded:
BLA-L09 for device
ti/it for branding."
This evening I'll try and I'll report you... :fingers-crossed:

Yes, the region code for TIM is C55, but first tell us which firmware version are you on?
If you are on a recent firmware that blocked the backdoor that FH was using, then most likely you are stuck with your current cust (c432 or whatever you rebranded to from C55).

Yes you're right, I got error on rebranding (losing 5 credits for nothing...) and I've tried also with erecovery method without success...maybe shoud I downgrade to a previous firmware allowing backdoor?
Anyway I've written to FW to get support...:fingers-crossed:

I've hw/eu on .150 (was .148 after rebranding).
Ok, I'ts impossible to use FW on firmware > .142, for the backdoor for the magic have been patched since .145 forward.
I've tried any knowleged for downgrade: FW, eRecovery, Project Menu (update.app in dload on external disk), but nope
So, I'll keep my BLA-L09 as BLA-L29, and it's good because I've also an Iliad sim with a lot of gigas per month
The phone It's also well working (using since Dec' 12, more than 6 months...), hoping for doesn't need support in future... :fingers-crossed:

Emui 9, Android 9 DOWNLOAD for P10, P10 Plus, Honor 9, Mate 9 - open beta update

https://www.getdroidtips.com/download-android-9-0-pie-beta-for-huawei/
You're welcome
Just notice:
The regions for the P10 firmware are limited to Latin America, Argentina und China.
Don't flash the firmware before rebranding your phone! It's also possible that you can't use the mobile network in your country with a firmware from a different region.
The Chinese versions, AL00 and TL00 don't have Google services including play store installed.
So, don't install anything without knowing what you do
I still wait for C432E1R1P8 and try flash to Pie Beta ??*

Do you have to rebrand first? What happens if you don't rebrand before flashing this?
I read that it will make you region C900 but nobody said if C900 is a problem. It's just the international version.
So you could still use the phone on region c900 right?
Possibly single/dual sim will be affected?
I don't know if it works different with pie, but my last information is, that you can't install it. The recover, even the NoCheck version, checks the oeminfo partition first. I also never heard about C900 VTR models, the international version without branding is C432, while this code is for France / Western Europe on older devices.
It can happen, that your phone shows developer version. Then you'll have some problems to rebrand to a real version with pie, because there are no oeminfo files for pie, yet.
If your phone is in developer mode, you're able to use it as normal but you won't be able to update via OTA or even with methods like HWOTA8.
Is it worth to upgrade to Android Pie 9.0 ? Does anybody has some experience with it ? I read somewhere that 9.0 works much more with Ai algorithms. Like prediction, etc. Beside that Ai for OS usability i am more curios if / interested in:
- if it uses less RAM memory
- if it use less battery power
- if it has a performance boost overall
If all of this points are opposite on 9.0 , i donĀ“t see any benefits in it.

What if we rebrand to version C605 which is this 9.0 firmware region then flash the rom.
Theoretically if this is the first firmware available in europe for Pie then we should get an update of final version soon after right?
So won't need to rebrand later and by that time Pie will be full release??
The main concern is to make sure bootloader code does not change during rebranding because then we're stuck.

C605 is for Latin America / Columbia. If they use other network frequencies than Europe and Huawei specified those frequencies in the firmwares than you're not able to use it here.
But yes, you should be able to rebrand to C605 by flashing the correct oeminfo. Rebrand on Oreo first before you update to Pie.
The bootloader code shouldn't change because of rebranding, it's hard coded into the bootloader and Huawei uses serial, model number (not region) and IMEI to make the code, those information won't change.
If you'll get updates while using a phone in a different region as the firmware says, isn't clearly, yet. Huaweis update plitics are a miracle, some guys still stuck on Nougat, some guys are getting the newest updates.
Update manually if you want to be up to date.
Guys I'm from Argentina and want to install emui 9. Tried to move to SD but fat32 has 4gb files limit. Is there any way to install it from internal storage?
Format SD to NTSF
So, did anybody from Europe rebranded and got it working with gsm properly? If so, to which region did u rebranded? Thank you.
Good evening to everyone. Is there a twrp for p 10 EMUI 9? Thank you

Convert C432 to OVS

Hi There,
currently I have the C432E10R1P16 LYA29 Dual Sim Version on my Mate 20 Pro.
I want to go for a faster update ring, I even found a full_update_base zip for the LYA-LGRP2-OVS 9.0.0.320 but I cannot migrate to that.
I tried hisuite but it won't help... I tried reverting to an older release which is funny cause it downloads this folder : LYA-LGRP2-OVS 9.0.0.266 so I thought, I should be able to update... but no...
Any Idea Recommendation? Thanks!!
OVS are globale version and usable on L09 and L29 but flashing should be make with dload method. no over way. Keep it mine that safetynet will not pass coz it's not a C432 region specific firmware.
latest "legit" version for C432 is 9.1.0.301

it is interesting though that the directory what Hisuite automacially created and downloaded for me so I can revert to a different version (emui 9.0)
was LYA-LGRP2-OVS 9.0.0.266 so if I have the C432E10R1P16 LYA29 why did it install this for me automatically? for me it would be reasonable to think that : LYA-LGRP2-OVS 9.0.0.320 should be working as well.. but I cannot install not even with the dload method.... even the 310 would not work with the dload version (with C432) I don't really understand it
