I am planning to purchase the Stratos. But I still have some questions.
I want the watch mostly for tracking my gym workouts and bicycle rides. But I did not find a gym or bootcamp sports program. How can I track this?
There is all the workout data stored? Is there a website or do I have the history in the app? How much workout history can be stored on the watch itself? Is google fit sync working?
Whats the thickness and diameter? Is it possible to sleep with?
I hope this is the right forum, thanks in advance!

Hi guys,
Which gps tracker do you use?
I have two alternatives. I use it for bike tours and running. These are:
. Open Gps
. Maverick
These programs are fairy good stuff but M has not the ability of having notices during the route.
And an other problem of mine: gps sometimes turns off and my track lost data for a long distance. I have tried Tracker booster app but I think it is useless above Android 2.1.
So what is your experience about tracking? Share with us. Than you! ;-)
Hello,
I use CardioTrainer for my bike rides, there is a map tracker, calories burnt counter, there is an option to share you rute via Facebook, upload route to your account on their server. It has audio player integrated in the application, it is free and you can download it from Market
Cardiotrainer is very good for walking and running.
For bike riding i use RunKeeper, does the job
my gps tracker
I used the GPS tracker TK-102, it is very small ,and it can put it to the pocket , it can protect u , cars, pets , kids well .

I use it too. This is the best.
Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to do Gym workouts in this watch.
I would like to pick an exercise and input the weight i am lifting.
The watch needs to measure the number of reps and the heart rate.
In such a workput, the heart rate can go up really fast.
For example, in lifting weights, 110 resting HR to 165 peak HR, by the end of the 15th rep.
I am not sure if the HR diodes are capable of sampling data fast (need 25 samples/min or better)
But that is not a showstopper, as one can pair with external Hrart rate monitor such as Polar H7 or H10.
I expect the watch to count the reps though.
Thoughts?

Unfortunately, as of now the watch is not gym-friendly. I would at least want to be able to start a timer while in a workout. But even this is not possible. Interval workouts are only available for GPS-based activities. Hopefully Huami will look into this and deliver gym mode in next updates.

You can use Elliptical to track any indoor activity that you want, and for timed intervals there is a custom app made for the watch so you can track the time.

Yeah, I know and that's what I'm doing. Would like a dedicated workout mode, though. Just downloaded the Interval timer for the watch today. Can you really record the workout and run the timer at the same time? How?

Probably only using a 3rd party launcher, like QuickLaunher, installed on watch. But I think that intervals were added to other sports in latest CN dev versions, hopefully it will be added to EN versions soon.

Sorry, the intent is not the timer instead it is fast changing heart rate.
HIIT intervals can vary heart rate from warmup (say 120) to VO2max (say 170) depending on your age in a matter for 20 secs
So the diodes needs to keep up as it is now a sampling rate issue. The Samsung Gear 3 does it nicely.
I would suggest Stratos 3 that supports about 80 sport models.
use Amaztimer app
I bought this watch a couple of days back since my TomTom conked and found it to be a good piece of hardware.
but in the same breath I must tell you its terribly disappointing that there is no option to export indoor sports data like treadmill running to either Strava and then sync to endomondo or endomondo directly.
If there was a option to sync to endomondo it would have been ideal. Now I dont know wht to do to track my treadmill runs after having bought this watch without knowing even something useless and primitive like strava wont have indoor sports data option.
Any ideas to export indoor data to any sports app so i can sync to endomondo ?
I am just frustrated trying different options. have no other way out than return this.
You can do it manually or automatically (almost, you just need to connect the watch to computer and extract the data), search for AmazeBackup, FitnessSyncer and online storage sync.
Hi,
If you're using the Amazfit Watch app from Google Play it can connect to Strava.

Only for GPS based workouts. Not for indoor.....
Have you found a solution?
Nowhere have I seen how the "Exercise" mode of the new Amazfit GTR works. Could anyone share photos and their experience with this mode?
On the other hand, which is the best alternative for Amazfit to keep track of the exercises, repetitions, weight lifted, etc., that is, alternatives such as "Exercise Tracker: Wear Fitness", "WORKIT - Gym Log", "Jefit", etc.
I have seen the best options on FitBit, Polar, Garmin, Galaxy Gear watches and in Wear OS watches.
Any suggestions?
I own an Amazfit GTR. I was searching for a way to check whether it is genuine or not but could not find a proper way to do so!
I have owned Mi Band 2 and 4 earlier and I have found out if they pair with the official MiFit app, they are Genuine!
But I am not sure about Amazfit watches!
Is there a way to check this?
Amazfit watches pair with the Amazfit app that can be found in the Play Store. Try to pair the watch to it, pairing would mean it's original.
The first thing I would consider checking to find out if the clock is original is the build quality and the software experience. You should check out reviews of the watch and search for things like PAI (Personal Activity Intelligence), for example.
