Hello,
I changed my phone and then I had to register my Amazfit to the new one. The issue is that in the data history of AmazFit app in the new phone there are a lot of data missing.
I tried to clear cache and data on the new phone and force synchronization but no way to solve it. I did the same on the old phone without any result. It seems that my old phone didn't synchronize data for a while because I have data related to Jun and July and data of latest days of February. Is there a way to force a full synchronization from the AmazFit app? Do someone has any idea on how to solve this issue (copy the local db from old phone to the new, etc)?
Thanks a lot.

After upgrading phone from Nexus 6 to Pixel 2 XL, I am getting the following error when attempting to sync Amazfit app with watch "Part Syncing Data Failed"
Bluetooth is working, cleared app cache and uninstalled and reinstalled, yet still no luck.
Anyone know how to fix this??????
I had this problem over the last 4 weeks, all the data would sync to the app but the run data would not transfer to strava. I ended up factory resetting my phone and then the data started syncing properly to strava and everything worked fine. However last week I started getting the following error "unfortunately, gpx- recorded has stopped." Now I'm trying to find out how to fix this error. Before this was happening the watch was working really well.
I must say however that the watch is still recording all my data (steps, sleep heart rate etc) it is just not allowing me to record any workouts that use the gps function. I get a GPS fix but as soon as the count down ends I get the gpx error. Does anyone have any ideas?
Do you have music on the watch?
Check if there is room left in memory to save something
Responses please
Just started seeing the same thing. Using note 8
I had the same problem.
I solved in this way in my android phone:
Go to options/general/alplications, select Amazfit, "clear cache" and then "force stop".
I hope this helps
For Strava, upload data directly from watch using WiFi. All GPS activities will show up. Even couple months months old.
For some reason syncing is not working via Bluetooth. I'm getting the same error.

Data may be corrupted, unpair watch while it's connected to phone or use Factory Reset in watch Settings, then pair again. PS: unpair will erase all data on watch.
If the problem persists after you pair again, do the same but answer NO when Amazfit app asks if you want to restore old data to watch.
I'm so disappointed! Two days in a row I've been climbing the mountains and used the 'Climb' activity to track my workouts. Both days I was unable to Stop and Save the activity. When I pressed the 'Save' button there was an endless animation on the screen 'Saving your activity'. I left it for over an hour this way but nothing changed and I restarted the watch. Unfortunately the workout has not been saved. The same thing happened on the next day.
Both workouts have been with duration of more than 7 hours and contained so precious GPS data for me which now I cannot access.
Does anybody know why this happened and how to avoid it next time?
My watch has the latest official ROM.
While I can't tell you how to avoid it, try https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/amazfit/xiaomi-huami-amazfit-export-data-t3533292/page19
the version vor the stratos.
You might be able to get the Data manually.
Upgrading to WOS2 (firmware 2.x.y) may cause corrupted data. You can fix it this way (all data on watch will be erase, but you will get it back to phone):
1. Unpair watch while it's connected to phone, so all data will be erased;
2. Logout from Amazfit app, close it (it's better to re-install using the latest version or go to phone settings and "clear data");
3. Open Amazfit and login using the same account, your old data should be restored;
4. Pair watch again but do not restore old data when Amazfit asks if you want to.
I've also had this issue with Pace - on latest firmware. It only seem to happen on really long (over 5 hours) activities. I lost my Ironman cycle because of this issue.

I have done what you suggested. Let's hope it will fix the issue. Thanks!
Hello, I can't find the activity (skiing) in Amazfit pace after I stopped it and saved. is it possible to restore it manually? cause in App also no info after the sync.
Hi,
I have just got the AmazFit pace and it has synced up to my phone (Pixel 3A) without any trouble.
I get the notifications etc on the watch.
However my app says 0 for the step count, no sleep data, no heart rate data etc.
i have tried factoery reset on the watch and installing ver 2.9 of the app on my phone with no success.
when i press sync on the phone it connects to wifi and claims to have successfully synced data but it isnt coming through to the phone.
Any help would be great.
I've tried searching for similar threads, the only thing similar i've found mentioned his firewall blocking the app but i dont think that will be the issue.
Thanks
The watch is brand new? Was it ever paired with another device previously? If yes, it has to be properly unpaired first, or activity/health data won't be synced properly. If no, it may take 24h for the data to sync properly. Try recording a dummy Elipitical activity and using the Sync from watch (it needs to connect to a 2.4GHz access point).

Thanks for the reply
yeah, the watch is brand new.
My partner bought it, tried pairing it with her phone and had the same issue. I unpaired it, the watch factory reset when unpaired and then i tried it with mine.
I expected the pedometer to increase in real time.
does it sync via bluetooth or only via wifi?
Edit: I tried a dummy elliptical and that has synced. But im still not getting any heart rate or steps info even though i have done a few heart rate readings and obviously taken some steps
Sync is actually done in two parts: first the phone pulls data from watch using Bluetooth, then pushes the data to the cloud (Huami) via WiFi (this last part is what is done if you use Sync from watch settings). Only when the data is pushed successfully to the could it will be shown in the app on phone. If the sync gets stuck at 100% then try restarting the phone, then try again and if it doesn't work restart the watch too.
Steps will sync alright ,but dont expect to sync heartrate .
Amazfit will display heart rate only when Pace' s heartrate is set to continuous mode.
Howevrer as soon as continuous mode is diabled , Amazfit will lose all heartrate data .
This means that the problem is not with connection, but with Amazfit syncing heartrate to Amazfit account .
This app is so bad and buggy .
I have no issues here syncing data. Try unpairing the watch while it is connect to phone, so it will factory reset (all data will be erased), then do NOT restore old data to watch when you pair again. For better results, also uninstall Amazfit Watch app before pairing again, and login using the same account to restore your old data (to phone only).

I have tried this method numerous times already.
As i said, everything synced alright with the exception of heartrate.
Heartrate data doesn't get retrained when continuous heartrate on watch is disabled.
I have tested here, and it works on both Android and iOS: as soon as I disable continuous HR it will show previous manual HR data.

It's supposed to show previous continuous HR data as well after HR being disabled, similar to the MI-Fit App.
That's how you would know your HR performance for the duration that it was continuously measured.
HR measurement, if working properly, should retain those data, as in STEPS and SLEEP data, so you can refer to how your heart rate does for periods that have been recorded.
P.S. the Exercise sessions recorded and retained continuous heart rate data without any problem. One can always check back at the continuous heart rate chart when the exercise session was recorded.
Hi all,
Since some days the AGPS data from watch is not updating anymore. I have synced several times. Does anyone else have the same problem? Any idea how to fix this? :crying:
Kind Regards
Christian

Hello, I have same problem.
I have factory restarted the watch 4 or 5 times, i uninstall and install the app and still nothing!?
Since the AGPS want sync i have very bad GPS recorded running activity.
Please help?
For Android Only.
Uninstall Amazfit Watch App [3.xx]
Restart the Phone.
Install Amazfit Watch App [Downgrade to 2.7x or 2.9x by manual install APK]
Again pairing and A-GPS can update.
Have downgraded to 2.9. Will report back on AGPS status.
Did not work.
Can I ask, can people on the forum please try a manual sync? Options -> Sync? On my Stratos, it fails at 34%. Want to see if it's something at my end, or if related to the Xiaomi server issues.
I am having the same problem with the Verge China 3.0.50.0 and App 3.6.1.
I have sync like more than 20 times and it still tell me that my AGPS data has expired.
i got same problem, i did't update for a gps on amazfit pace
maybe, xiaomi server is update
Seems ok today.
When you pull down the sync you will see the sync progress (%). The the first count will go to 90% and finish. Then it will reset to 10% and count to 90% then finish.
Previously the 2nd count sync will stuck at 10% for a while and stop.
In the spring this year there were no problems at all. But now it's very unreliable.
Yesterday I pulled down the Zepp view a dozen times and finally it synced my last workout... but without GPS data! I know there was GPS data because I can see it on the watch itself.
Today I could not sync my last workout at all. Previously the Activities menu on the watch said there are a few items unsynced, but now it does not have this message. It's as if it was synced but I don't have data in Zepp.
When I pull down the Zepp view, sometimes it shows no errors, sometimes says "Device sync failed". But it shows battery level correctly and also it is able to ping the watch through Find watch function (the watch vibrates). Occasionally Zepp does the AGPS update of the watch, and the update also sometimes takes multiple tries to complete.
What I have tried these days:
restarting Zepp
restarting Bluetooth and location of the phone
restarting Amazfit
restarting the phone
force-closing Zepp
cleaning Zepp cache
unpairing and repairing Amazfit (had to repeat pairing twice - it failed during the last step when preparing the device)
Watch
Amazfit GTS
Firmware version v0.1.2.05
Phone
Nokia 8.1 Android 11
Zepp
7.0.2-play
Now after having written this, I restarted Zepp once more, and suddenly it synced automatically, loaded the stuck workout with all the GPS data and also did AGPS update. But when I do pull down, it again says "Device sync failed".
Why it's so unstable now? Is the watch dying? Is Zepp glitching? Is it some Android update at fault?
I'm having the same issue. Did you ever find a solution?
Exactly the same issue. Same steps were tried also. Have reported this issue through app. No response. Atleast, it is not me alone. Thanks for sharing this issue.
Hi everyone. I found a solution.
Removed all the cache data and also app data in Android app settings for Zepp.
Then uninstalled Zepp completely.
Then reinstalled Zepp from Google Play.
Then reset Amazfit to factory settings.
Then paired Amazfit to Zepp.
Now it seems to be working again without a hitch for two months.
I suspect, the local database was somehow out-of-sync beyond repair and that's what was messing Zepp and it failed when saving data. So, most likely cleaning all the app data was the main thing, and maybe it would work just fine without reinstalling. At first, I was reluctant to clean the app data because I was afraid I would lose all of my workout history, but fortunately, the app was able to reload it from the server. Of course, I lost all the workout data that was on Amazfit itself.
