About Project:
Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. And now we are based on AOSP on oreo. The main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as much as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. I hope that you'll all love this project, and help us, shape it even more better. Meanwhile, all of our sources are publicly available on our Github. We also do own a Google+ Community, where you can.... uhm... you know, do what all others do at forums and communities! Hope you enjoy your stay and like our work on Cardinal-AOSP.

i think in the op the gapps date is very old.
Why would we need button backlight controls on 5t? This has no buttons that have back lights. We have on screen navbar.
i've got android system closed message when it boot. Clean flash rom+gapps nano. what can i do? thanks

One of the great roms which can be used as a daily driver with the initial build itself.. Rom works super smooth and everything works fine. Android p like colourful settings panel and dot UI and dotpapers are added benefits.. Rounded corner recent panel looks amazing. Forgot to say about colourful boot animation though. Buttery smooth functioning with good battery backup also.. Screen off gestures are not working except double tap to wake as mentioned by jeevs.. But that's not an issue at all.. Substratum and volte works fine.. No issues with video recording and no data toggle bug. Thank you jeevs for this amazing rom.. Way to go.. Keep doing great.

Man the first thing I noticed is the lack of the default apps on. OS that actually made it different from any other ROM. Without those it's basically just a osip with a different interface for the built-in themes. What happened to dots music player and browser, and what happened to using lawn chair as the primary launcher? Those were the only real things that actually made the wrong any different from anything else you can find on the OnePlus 2. And why not just use regular Retro Music so that way we can get updates through the Play Store instead of using Retro Music but rename so it doesn't update?

Well you where the guy asking to go official but fun fact this is how there official source is, the mentioned changed where all done by the Dot team not by me. I just synced the source and got it to run in oreo. I know dot os N was very different. I ran it myself but thats just the direction that the Dot team wants to head in. If you have any complains about that kind of stuff you should try and get in contact with the Dot team, and on the topic of the retro music player you can just uninstall it with a root uninstaller if its a big deal for you. Then you will be able to downloud it from the playstore again.

thanks for uploading this it looks like a great rom but after downloading and trying to flash i get error 7 in TWRP.
"error this package is for device rimo02a. This device is Sanders"
I have checked several times to make sure I downloaded the right file, the android 9 version works fine but the android 10 version has this error.

1. Make sure you flash it on Sanders device
2. Make sure to download correct sanders file (the build will be having sanders in it's name)
Well.. A good smooth working Rom..
Fingerprint authentication takes slightly time to unlock the screen.. The only small issue I'm facing.. Any future upgrade to that?
Great performance, smooth and also boots fast. However, the com.android.documentsui (Files) is unable to find any files in the Downloads section. This also causes errors when trying to view ongoing downloads from the browser as well.
"To start Android, enter your password", i didn't have any password before, it only happens on android 10. Can someone help me with this? It was a clean install.

i have a issue, internet network change option is not available in ROM!
and also one sim off option not available. only airplane mood is used to off the sims.

Thank you for making such an incredible ROM.
There are a few issues which I'm experiencing with the latest update :
1. Cast: Whenever I use cast with my TV, the OS reboots.
2. Camera: Video mode is very dull but photo mode works fine.
3. Keyboard : No gesture swipe typing. No Hinglish keyboard. No Voice typing.
4. Gaming : Game is lagging a bit (even with gaming mode On). Played Mortal Kombat from playstore.
Will tell other issues (if any)
Please fix them in the next update. (Curious to know when is the next update coming )

This rom is awesome. Lots of customization and options. Smooth and fluid. Didn't find any bugs and shutter. Lyrics on the status bar is awesome idea. This will be my preferred rom for now on at least until android 12 comes out.
The only issue i found is sometimes double tap on AOD not working otherwise it's best in class at least for me. Great work devs.

most roms came with stock by default. there is no specific file for it unless it provided by developer. Anyway, Cherish for now using westcost kernel it good kernel too ...

Try it yourself by sideloading it.
Orangefox it's recommended by developer as tested one but it's not mean that it can't be with twrp ...
