I'm trying to add an google acount in a cynamogen 7(.2?) but it requires exchange settings. I think that google dropped support for this... Is there anyway to bypass this?

Account, why? Is it only possible with gapps
Hey guys,
Since I updated to 5.1 lollipop on my XT1022, my phone always boot first in recovery mode. I used TWRP and now I get back on the stock one, but the problem persist.
When I use TWRP, i have to reboot in Bootloader mode and choose to normal start, now with the stock recovery I have to hold for a while to reboot and than the phone start normally.
What's the problem and what can I do?

I have already Lollipop 5.1 Stock, OTA updated before rooting.

Am talking about installing factory images it can solve almost all the problems

Download official rom depending your model and flash it.

So, I tried to build AOSP 7.1.1, after sync-ing r13 branch I cloned @Nikiz Kernel & @itigr aosp-5.1 branch and used @no_name device tree
as a reference to update itigr's aosp-5.1 tree.
First, I compiled the kernel with this defconfig and moved zimage to device tree, renamed it to kernel also moved Hawaii_ss_vivaltods5m_rev00.dtb to device tree and used BOARD_MKBOOTIMG_ARGS := --second device/samsung/vivaltods5m/hawaii_ss_vivaltods5m_rev00.dtb, Compiling finished successfully then I flashed the output. .zip with @Jimm85 recovery but when I rebooted device screen stayed blank [turned off] and didn't show the bootanimation, probably an init problem but I can't debug it at that state
So, I'm here to ask for help
btw,I didn't apply any patches to the source

I installed on VM Ubuntu. Then i synced toolchains and kernel then i initialized same deconfig which u initialized. After initializing i writed make -j3. Kernel compiled successfully but when i flashed it, it stuck on black screen. :/

Itigir's 5.1 or CM 12.1 has lots of bugs already
