LG Power L22C SystemUI Airplane Mode locks entire phone after update - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello.
I've recently purchased a brand new LG Power L22C smartphone. It is a fast phone and very nice. When I got the phone, it was very fast with no problems at all. I had opened Update Center and updated the onboard apps LG put on the phone, including SystemUI. However, when I tried to turn off Airplane Mode to use the FM radio, I get "Unfortunately, SystemUI has stopped.". When I had rebooted, Airplane mode was off. I then turned it on again using the quick menu. The Airplane mode screen pops up with two buttons, but I can't press neither and the phone is stuck. When I press the power button, it flashes back to the Airplane Mode screen. I either have to hold the Power button and wait for the power menu or press really fast to reboot. I had tried booting into Safe mode, but the Airplane Mode glitch still happened.
I want to know why this is happening. I don't know the cause of the problem that causes SystemUI to either stop and restart, or even worse lock the entire phone until shutting off. I had noticed the app SystemUI Helper, which installed when I used Update Center and I can't disable it. Could this conflict with SystemUI somehow? I have noticed I can turn on and off Airplane Mode by using the menu when I hold the power button with no problems.
Currently, I'm using the SystemUI that was on the phone prior to updating the SystemUI. I went to Update Center and turned auto-updating off, then I uninstalled updates of SystemUI in the settings and restarted the phone. I haven't noticed any problems using the 10kb version of SystemUI, and I'm surprised the update increases the size of SystemUI to 10mb.

[SOLVED] Screen wont lock or turn off [SOLVED]

Hey, yesterday my rooted galaxy s3 with stock jellybean 4.3 stopped locking or even turning off the screen.
Nothing happens when I press the powerbutton, but when I hold it in the power menu comes up.
I've done a keytest in recovery and it clearly says 116 when I press the powerbutton.
I've also checked system/usr/keylayout and key 116 is set to wake.
I've tried multiple different 3rd party on screen turn off buttons, but all they do is lock the screen without turning it off.
I also tried setting screen timer to 15 seconds in stock settings and in different battery saving apps, but still nothing.
Please help!!

I'm installing Wakelock detector to see if it's a specific app keeping it on.
I solved the issue!
I thought this issue was weird since no app kept wakelock or anything that way.
So I started to go through recent changes I'd done to my device.
AND it turns out to be the bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg files that caused this issue!
I renamed those two to get rid of my ugly boot animation! But it turns out you should NOT rename or delete those!

Help needed asap

Guys i was in my settings a few minutes ago and i came across a feature which enabled me to open up my notifications by just tapping the screen so i enabled it and went to the homescreen to test it! Upon tapping the screen the phone started maing a beeping noise and a blue line started scrolling continously downward on the screen! I cant turn the phone off ! I only seem to be able to reboot it which doesnt help! I needto power the phone off i assume and then maybe do a hard reset??? Advice needed please
anyone?
What setting did you access I don't believe anybody will be able to help if we don't know where you went and what you changed. The things you mention are very vague and don't really paint a picture of what is happening.
Also if you want to turn the phone off without using the on screen settings just hold onto the power button for about 10 seconds it should turn off, after that hold power, home button, and volume up to go into recovery to reset or what ever it is you please.
Also is it showing you an X and Y axis? If so then you just go into settings, developer settings, show screen updates and turn that off the grid should go away. I am not sure what your issue is but that seems like the most likely option.

Screen keeps on turning on while charging & sometimes Power Button on phone wont work

Screen keeps on turning on while charging & sometimes Power Button on phone wont work
For some reason, while connected to bluetooth, the watch's screen will light up and show on the top that it's connected to bluetooth (as if I slided down). Right now I disconnected the bluetooth and it's charging just fine. Also while connected to bluetooth, sometimes the power button on my Galaxy S5 (running AllianceRom) will become unresponsive. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?
Lastly, I had uninstalled the stock email app when I flashed the ROM months ago, but when I go to my old apk's to install it, it won't install. It'll say, "App not installed". How can I get it to install?

Some problems after resetting my c8633.. Power button only work for turning on phone

I have a rooted c8633 and factory reset it yesterday, then battery suddenly dropped from 30% to 0%.
1. After turning it on again, the power button wont work(cant screen on/ off) . But i can still use it to power on or force turn off the phone (power + volume up), so i assume its some software problems but i didnt install any apps i never use before.
2. The battery percentage seems not accurate, sometimes it drops fast but some times its very slow.
Could anyone please help with these problems? Thank you.
Sorry i cant capture any screen because my power button is not working.

Black screen on boot

Hey all! Went through the process below this past weekend (and have rebooted a few times since) but wanted to make sure I was sharing all the info. Was having issues receiving MMS today so was messing with APN settings, then rebooted and it just boots to a black screen with nothing on it.
When I hold the vol down + power a popup shows up at the bottom telling me to hold for 4 seconds to restart and counts down when I do, but will just restarts back to the same spot. When I hold just the power, a prompt to either Lockdown, Power Off, or Restart shows up in the middle.
Almost seems like it isn't loading the Home launcher, my default launcher is Nova.
Also as I was typing this it sounded like an alarm just started going off but nothing showing up on screen so that is bizarre and now every time I boot the alarm starts...
Any guidance would be appreciated!
(No Root Needed) Remove Bloatware from LG v60 Tmobile or ATT | XDA Forums
Update, I am able to get in to it via adb, however I am not sure what I could do from here. I removed the most recent apps I installed just to see if that had anything to do with it but no luck.
My concern is I have 2fa keys on here that I dont want to have to reset because it is a huge PITA so I am trying to figure out how to either save that data if I need to reset or fix the issue without resetting.
