dude there is so much information about this exact topic, just use the bloody search button. Or even just read a few topics like the magldr one etc.
a) plug in usb
b) boot into bootloader (volume down on power on)
c) flash your windows mobile rom.
or
a) rename the rom to leoimg.nbh and stick on memory card.
b) boot into bootloader.

I have done this HSPL 2.08 and ran the Custom RUU in windows. CustomRUU said that it had installed successfully then rebooted right back into Android. MGLDR says booting into Android 123456 etc. WTF?
Did you even try and flash a *stock* ROM?

First thing to do, find the CORRECT stock rom for your device.
Second, extract the stock rom, find the file name: .nbh and rename it to: leoimg.nbh
Third, get a formated micro SD (sandisk 8GB or less, is okay) and put the file leoimg.nbh in the root directory of micro sd card
Four, make sure your battery capacity is more than 50%, turn of the device, and put your micro sd at the slot of the device.
Five, press VOLUME DOWN button and POWER ON button (keep pressing until the 4 colors screen appears on your device)
Six, follow the instruction on the screen.
Good luck
thanq.. i got the issue solved, Thank you
SPL - 2.08.0000 is stock spl, not hacked spl.
I Ran it again this time I chose 2.08.hspl and it solved everything

Did you try the SD flashing method? If so what is the size of your SD Card?
You can put the phone into Bootloader Mode, then connect to the PC. Run the ROM (if Vista or Win7 then make sure you run it as an administrator). Sometimes you need to run it a couple of times. Try doing this flash without the SD card - it shouldn't make a difference, but it will at least eliminate a faulty SD Card.
I Checked all the process.
Even i tried
I Gb SD
4 Gb SD
8 Gb SD
and even i Tried from Windows 7 to update ROM
Nothing Working Fine

Sorry to ask, but can you go into boot loader screen?
If the answer is yes, you still can flash the stock rom
Keep trying and retrying mate.
Try reformat your micro sd with fat32. Try different brand of micro sd (sandisk never fails me down )
Make sure the rom you downloaded is the CORRECT STOCK ROM and is not corrupt (be careful of interrupted download, it may corrupt the file)
Don't forget to extract the rom file using 7zip or winrar and find the file name "RUU_signed.nbh" and rename it to "leoimg.nbh" and copy it to the ROOT DIRECTORY of micro sd.
Make sure your battery is more than 50%
try to remove your sim card before flashing.
Now go into boot loader mode and follow the onscreen instruction
Good luck
Yes I Can go Into Bootloader
Even I purchased Yesterday a new 8 GB ScanDisk S Card.
I formatted it (Not Quick ) Fat32.
I Tried the Following ROMs
RUU_Leo_HTC_ARA_1.66.415.4_Radio_Signed_15.30.50.07U_2.06.51.07_Ship
RUU_Leo_HTC_ARA_1.66.415.9_Radio_15.37.50.07U_2.10.50.08_2_Signed_LEO_Ship
My Mobile Batter is 100%
After Extraction I Renamed (LEOIMG.nbh)
But I see the Following Message
Loading....
and after then nothing
I am Really Stuck
I badly Want to return Back in Windows.

What happens when you reflash a hspl? I mean, I heard windows mobile roms where having difficulties with the hpsl 2 version, and needed the 3.
Be sure to check though, I only gopt my hd2 for a few days and am still very noobish with this phone, I got some experience with flashing though, before the hd2 I owned a touch pro for a year, before that phone I owned a HTC kaiser for a year, and before that I owned a ipaq 6515 (never was able to flash this one, no suitable roms).
I would like to get winmo back,i purchased leo with nandroid but i dont like it.
How can i know is it hardspl or what version is ? Thanks in advance.

[Q] Flash Eugene's Mind Blow kernel, SD card is not recognized

Ive flashed Mind Blow kernel over the Bionix 2.2 from Team Whiskey (latest).
Well during flashing It wanted me to change the configuration.. which i said NO too (not sure if that was right to do) and after the phone booted up for the 7th TIME, I cannot get it to recognize my sd card.
It will only recognize the partition on the card where the Avatar movie is on and NOTHING else.
What did I try?
1. Reformatting the card (still unrecognized)
2. Plugging in PC to see if the other partition will show up (did not, only Avatar partition did)
3. Tried to download app from market (failed: no space on device/sdcard)
4. Looked on sdcard on phone (only can see Avatar Partition)
Anyone can shed any light on what Im suppose to do?
Im thinking odin.. ><
I'm in the exact same boat. I flashed the kernel over eb/tw vibrant 4g rom. flashing was fine, phone booted up, but neither sd was mounted. nothing seems to work. I know some have tried to odin with some success. I have to wait until tomorrow morning to get to a pc (im using a ppc mac and am trying to get heimdall up a running to flash a new kernal and see if that fixes it. if anything works for you. let me know.
I will do! thanks for sharing this with me =)
I was in the same boat too. I suggest going to the ROM bible and grabbing a voodoo kernal and rom from samsung out of the "Odin" section. ODIN that. It booted fine for me, I'm just getting a "not enough int memory" even though I have nothing stored on my phone.... I'll keep ya posted too.
Goodluck!
Thanks I will try ASAP.

Phone flashes files but is still on older version

A friend of mine sent me his SGS2 which has some strange issue that happened after trying to root and/or simunlock. (not sure what caused this issue).
The phone has stock rom (Telcel Mexico) and is rooted, has CWM and boots properly, but two issues happen:
* Each time your reboot it kind of "factory resets", deleting wifi networks, apps, settings, etc.
* If you flash anything, it succeeds apparently but after rebooting it's still on the same ROM/kernel versions it was before flashing. NO ERRORS. This applies for Odin, with CWM, I have tried installing CM7 and CM9 roms (downloaded 2-3 times) and all say "Can't open /sdcard............./....zip (bad)"
I was hoping that following this thread would help:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1457458
However, even flashing the bootloader makes no difference. The count on download mode is stuck on 2 no matter if I install ROMs, kernels, bootloader, etc.
Edit: what's even wirder, I put my microSD card in the phone and it formatted it and replaced my content with my friend's last snapshot. How can such a thing happen? It's as if the phone was locked into some strange "restore" mode...
What can I do with this? I feel kind of stuck with this situation... Have not found any information so far...
Regards
there was similar thread some time ago, it seemedvthat I think the whole system was read only, I'll try to search a bit for that
EDIT: I could't find it but try to mount system and data and stuff in cwm and then tey to flash aome rom, then unmount (I'm not pro but this is what I would try)
Sent from my sgs2 running cm9
Well,
I think the FS mounting issue would work with cwm installable roms, but if I have reinstalled everything from odin, even the bootloader, isn't it strange in that way? I also don't understand why rebooting the phone even rewrites an SD card.
Even the counter on the download mode is stuck on 2, no matter how many times I flash a kernel, rom, bootloader. Odin always reports a successfull upload...
Yep, thag sd card thingy is pretty weird and I have no ide what's causing that.
Sent from my sgs2 running cm9
Well,
I have researched a bit more and found this for the Nexus S:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=993403
This phone has exactly the same symptoms, but as the yellow triangle is on and it always boots into a rooted version, I would like to see if I can do anything so the phone can be sent back for warranty...
Any thoughts?
If you can .
Clean Slate for those that balls up the firmware .Or need to return to service or decide if its hardware/firmware problem .
Backup data first if phone is working .
Boot CWM recovery
Mounts and Storage
Format cache data system sd card .
Remove battery
Boot to download mode
Open Odin
Install correct stock firmware .
Still problems use usb jig to set rom counter to zero .
Return to service centre .
Well,
Have tried everything, but no success. This is really weird, it's as if the whole phone had a backup and restores to this point on every reboot including sd card. Every odin flash comes out as "succeed", but nothing changes.
Will try to build a usb jig and test if it at least gets rid of the yellow triangle. I also can't flash anything via CWM as somehow the memory is "locked"... An external SD card is overwritten if inserted...
Regards

[Q] gt-i9100 problem after using clockworkmod

Hello almighty XDA peoples.
I watched the video, I have lurked here for months. I read everything I could on my phone, but I feel like my dilemma is slightly different. If not I would be glad to rectify it.
I purchased an unlocked gt-i9100 in the UK. I now use a Tmobile sim in the US.
After a lot of reading, I rooted my phone using ODIN and CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_LQ5-v5.6-CWM5 kernel.
I installed titanium backup, and used it. I put in ROM manager.
I decided I wanted to put a custom ROM on, but I read that a full wipe was necessary so I went into clockworkmod recovery. I followed all the instructions.
Now I can't boot into OS. I can get into both clockwordmod and download mode, but my computer wont recognize my phone so I can't put a zip file onto my sd card. (probably should have done that first huh)
All I want is a normal working phone. I will leave rooting to the professionals.
It was previously running 4.0.4 xxlq6.

Ouch.
Rather dont wipe with the Samsung 4.0.4 kernel they had the brickbug...
You can try reinstall the drivers on the PC for the phone and also make sure KIES is not running then try download mode again else
try take the sd card out of the phone and put it in the pc and copy the ROM on to the SD card that way then flash with CWM.
A SD card reader is cheaper then fixing the phone if you don't already have one....
I can still access download mode and CWM though. Is that a sign of life? I went a bought a micro sd card and have put the rom onto it, which hopefully I can access through CWM. WIll update soon.

Having read the thread about 4.0.4 being susceptible to bricking, I'm now wondering what to do.
I bought a microSD card and put the Resurrection remix zip on it. I can access that though CWM and it's allowing me to update. WOuld it be better to try to downgrade to gingerbread or an early ICS, or have I passed the point where my phone should be bricking? Thanks so much in advance.

Well firstly why did you use Rom Manager? Its not properley compatible with I9100 and can lead to issues like you have if you mess about and try to flash kernel through it.
If you can still access download mode simply flash stock via ODIN and then flash custom kernel like Siyah (version depends on rom version) to gain root, cwm etc.
Alternatively first flash Siyah (.tar version) via ODIN then flash your custom rom.

if you can access download/recovery your device is not bricked. Just do as I said above and flash kernel or rom via ODIN.
I guess sometimes reading doesn't equals learning.
Wait a sec, I already knew that. Reading whole threads intead of OP-only equals learning.

SD Not being recognized. Need help!

Hey there guys,
Well, I got into a serious problem with my SD and I would really appreciate any help.
First of all, I got a Lg Magna H502 with the android 5.0.1, stock ROM. I managed to root it and then I got it into a bootloop by installing stupid things on it. (I'm pretty noob at android management). With TWRP I wiped everything that I could - totally desperate at this point. Bricked the hell out of it. Then, I couldn't even acess the TWRP.
Later, I managed to flash a mm ROM on it and all went back working again.. but with a big problem though, my SD wasn't being recognized anymore. It doesn't seem like a common problem, cuz I tried all the solutions that I could possibly find in the internet for 2 days and yet, no lucky. The problem isn't on the SD since my other device and my pc with the adapter can find it. Already tried formating with exFAT and FAT32, also tried the cmd checking method with the "chkdsk etc", it seems to be everything ok with the SD. Not only that, already tried to wipe cache and mount the sd card using the TWRP but still, nothing happens. It doesn't allow me to mount it.
I didn't try to flash the old stock ROM on it because all the people that installed the same mm ROM on the same phone didn't have this issue. So, it doesn't seems to be a ROM problem.
Any ideas? I can't figure it out.
The SD model is a Sandisk 32GB.
Thanks in advance!
