Hi,
my S6 edge ( G925F) is stuck. Odin or Windows cannot find the phone. (necessary USB drivers are installed etc)
USB charging works fine but the computer or the Odin cannot find the phone via USB cable
Phone is wiped, factory settings are restored.
How can I get tar.md5 file to the phone and install the OS?
I also tried to repair USB storage:
Repairing USB storage using fsck.fat...
/sbin/fsck.fat -y process ended with ERROR: 2
Unable to repair USB storage

Mount Point is /usbstorage

I have the following problems:
1. I can`t copy files to both the internal and external sdcard through usb
I tried to uninstall Kies and all the drivers, rebooted and reconnected the phone and windows says usb drivers not installed: missing cdc serial number. Than i installed Samsung mobile USB driver 1.5.5.0 and still cannot transfer files to and from the phone.
2. If i transfer files with Airdroid i cannot flash tem, it says E: not accessible ( i formated the external sdcard twice both on the phone and on the pc). Flashing from the internal sdcard is also not possible.
I have no clue what happened and i hope someone can provide a usefull tip. I`am on stock rom right now ,not rooted and did a factory reset and still no transfer possible. Get the message: Device stopped answering or the connection is broken. Tried several usb ports, using a samsung usb cable.
-Edit- SOLVED
Hi,
This is my first time rooting my HTC One (T-Mobile) and have managed to unlock my bootloader and install TWRP Recovery. Long story short, while attempting to install the latest Android Revolution HD Custom ROM, I seemed to have wiped my whole phone clean and don't even have an operating system anymore.
How can I get the Custom ROM file from my computer to my phone if I don't even have an operating system to boot into? It would be no problem if this phone had an SD card slot, but it doesn't . The only thing I can boot into now is the TWRP Recovery.
I have tried using the MOUNT option in TWRP Recovery, but to no avail. I have also tried to download HTC Sync Manager and the computer still does not recognize my HTC One. All I need is for my computer to recognize my phone and pop up in Windows Explorer so I can copy it into my phone's internal memory and use TWRP Recovery to install the ROM.
P.S. I am using Windows 8.1 64-bit.
PLEASE HELP ME! :'(
I am in the same situation, i have no operating system and can't access the internal storage.
How do I enable usb debugging?
USB OTG
Hi guys,
I just had this same problem. I formatted internal storage and had no OS at all.
I bought a USB OTG wire from Amazon. I put the ROM I wanted to install on a regular USB Drive and connected it using the USB OTG wire.
http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-...e=UTF8&qid=1398213984&sr=8-2&keywords=usb+otg
In TWRP I went to the Mount function and unchecked all boxes except USB OTG. Make sure that's checked. Then, go to install and navigate up folders to the top level folder. Scroll down and the bottom folder will be called USB OTG. Look in there for your ROM.
Install and enjoy!
Now if someone could help me figure out why ADB won't connect: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2727881
I have a weird situation - my verizon galaxy S4 - when in Download mode & my PC is in Odin 3.09, is recognized- but when I attach the same cable when I'm in every day running on the HyperDrive 10.2 ROM, my S4 does not go into USB mode so I can choose MTP...
more weird is that when I plug my S4 into the same laptop where I just successfully flashed the Odin tar to recover from a careless mistake & it worked just fine i.e. the Odin tar restore did restore it; but when not in Download mode for Odin & I plug in the original cable (I do try diff ports...) the device just won't go into USB Mass Storage mode; & it is a fairly new cable & I tried the BlackHat emergency MicroSD->USB charging cable; all to no avail.
I do have USB debugging checked off & DM Mode is disabled (##DM MODE# dialed fm the native Phone app, pressing numbers corresponding to those letters on the dialpad), all based on what I found in searches on other threads.....
even more weird, when I put an OTG (On The Go) USB->MicroSD dongle, my S4 goes into Mass Storage mode like a champ... with the USB 'trident' icon in the notification bar that allows me to choose MTP after I tap on it there.... & PDAnetPC software also sees the S4 & when I tap on Windows "Safely remove hardware & Eject media" 'Samsung Android' is there to be disabled...????!!!!
Please help, I need to transfer files fm my laptop to my S4... into internal sdcard....
TIA, oldwolf

same problem for me....i use the sdcard
up
solved wiping data and then system
turn on adb sideload one time and then cancel it.
same here, any solutions?
If you don't have SD card or USB OTG .
And used the tips available on the net on Format and repair / modify files via TWRP. But still does not work. And you are sure of the functionality of the USB and ports.
So here is the simple solution: uninstall google ADB drivers, or any other driver not related to your phone ' manufacturer. Repulse /replug the USB cable and wait for the reinstallation of the drivers. MTP will appear. But restart your PC to get storage. (paste your recovery there) if you are trying to restore a backup. Or flash file (custom or stored ROM). Good luck
