hey guys,
i dont know, but my S9+ seems not to have the stereo speaker sound. i was in a shop where the phone was presented, there i played a video and it was in stereo, but on my own phone it doesnt work. i switched on atmos sound but it doesnt change anything.
i used google but didnt found anything.
maybe someone can help me out?
It should just work out of the box. No need to enable it..
Best way to test place ya finger over the the ear peice and the speaker on the bottom and see if the audio plays out of opposite speaker.
Mine works fine.
Shop probably had Dolby atmos enabled. Pull down your notification bar, pull again so it's big. If the DA isn't there scroll left and it should be there.
Does it work with every player? And does it work for Music and video? I testet with Samsung Music app and poweramp, and da was enabled but sound just came from Bottum speaker...
What's your firmware?
Mine is G965FXXU1ARB1

Yeah works fine with every app and player I've used so far, Samsung music, play music, YouTube's, Netflix.
Even if you don't have Dolby Atmos enabled the sound still plays through both speakers just not as loud.

Try the diagnostic explained in this video.
Should work for everything other than loudspeaker in calls. Sounds like it may be faulty.
I feel so stupid...
I didn't peeled of the original safety foil and this was covered over the earspeaker so that there wasn't any sound...
So I peeled it off and voila, stereo sound... Grrrr
Easy thing gave me a hard headache hahaha

I had the same problem go to your dial pad and dial *#0*# it will bring you to a menu press speaker and see if both speaker are working properly. Leave both arrow black or what ever color they appear and hit the back button 2x test your speaker by playing music. Plz let know if it helped..

Is this headset compatible with voice dialing? I use microsoft voice control.
Thanks
Why not get some well known branded headsets like motorola s9, that comes close to the price range as well...
i dont like the headsets. i want something that can clip on my shirt, control the hd media player and plug any headphones into.
cheers
Calypso SP
Hi,
I first had the Motorola S9 which were nice, but too much bass, and after some time they completely fell apart
Now I bought the Calypso SP and they work just fine. They support Bluetooth 2.0, so you don't have those annoying pauses if the phone is not exactly behind your back, and the sound is great.
They look a bit like Princess Leia's haircut though

I've got sony ericsson HBH-DS970 and they're really excellent.
They will control next/previous track etc in the built in touchflo player but I cannot find out how to make them control Coreplayer instead. I hate the built in player and use Coreplayer for almost everything, but I've had to stop using these headphones because I can't control the tracks with them sadly. Really gutted about it.
I've got Sennheiser CX500s which sound great, but the track control & untangled wires of the bluetooth set was brilliant, and the sound was very good too.
Anyone know a decent bluetooth earbud set that works to control Coreplayer? Or a way I can fix this problem as it really sucks.
do the controls work with windows media player?
My speaker COMPLETELY stopped working a few hours ago!!
Any type of audio that is routed through the rear speaker is now nonfunctional: e.g. ringtones, notifications, alarms, speakerphone, audio from music/videos, camera shutter, audio from video games!! Audio now only works if I plug in headphones, or if I route it to a bluetooth audio device.
The only thing that works is the front earpiece during a call.
Does anyone know what on EARTH could have caused this, and how I can fix it!?
Thank you...
P.S. Before anyone asks...my phone's software and hardware have not been modified in ANY way.

This seems like it would be a hardware issue, maybe software. If is software maybe you could factory reset (I know you probably don't want to do this), but this sort of thing happened to me. After I reset the phone my speakers ended up working fine after that. I hope this could help you out with your problem. Let me know how this turns out for you.
Hi Community,
I just bought a bluetooth - speaker from Phillips, the SBT50.
The pairing with the device was flawless, but I can't control the volume of the played music.
It is quiet or it plays on full volume, between is nothing
The only possibility to change the media-volume is the preamp from Player Pro, but his range is to little.
Has someone an idea or a solution for this problem?

I have the same problem with an iHome speaker box - it is full blast or nothing. I cant find a solution. I think it is a problem with the razr bluetooth function. It works fine if I connect it with a cable. Anyone find a solution yet?
after updated to android pie throug ota, i can not record or send voice message through the bluetooth headphone, iam using airpod, i tried with couple of other bluetooth headphone too, all having the same problem,
when iam using whatsapp or calling with thirdparty apps like imo with bluetooth headphone, the phone' internal mic is working instead of headphone's mic , the other end could hear my voice,
but
if i hold and close the phone's internal mic hole with my finger the other end could not hear my voice,
i already factory reset my phone twice, but still having the issue,
Same here with my sony 1000XM2, headphone speakers work.

s9 plus with android pie?
Yes. Tried updating firmware on headphones but it didn't help.
anybody a solution?
I have an S9+ running Android 10. I have Beats Ur Beats 3 wired ear buds and the mic doesn't work on those either. It used to when I first got the phone when it had Oreo on it. I miss that feature as I used it all the time. I'm guessing there is no fix in the near future.
As title suggest, no sound come out from the earpiece grille/upper speaker. So whenever someone calling me, I can't hear them and have to resort to use speaker or plugging earphone.
Attached picture are my spec, and "play music by receiver" test that I have done.
Same problem here.
I was using V11.0.4.0.QJWEUXM (EEA), changed to V11.0.10.0.QJWMIXM and still have the same problem.
From time to time speaker (earpice) work ok.
I made a test with an app Speaker test from Playstore and it works, so i think its a software problem.
I think that the volume go to low because i can here something but at a volume to low.
Any sugestion what to do next?
