who doesn't want a full day of usage from a overpriced phone? so how many of you using WQHD+ and AOD on always? and how is your battery backup? are you having a full day usage with a decent number of screen on time while AOD is on and having WQHD+?
Thread closed at my Request,

i have been using CM10 rom with siyah kernel & the battery lasts for about 6-8 hours on average use which is terrible... stock rom was just as bad, i have recently bought a 3450mah battery for my s3 which seems to add a few more hours...but not enough..
i used to have an iphone 4 which had great battery life lasted along time & could still go on nights out & it would still have around 20% percent left & never drained on standby.
this is my first android phone and i am happy with the the android os & the community but samsung sure have some bad design quality. hate touchwiz & the battery life right now (off topic poor speaker volume & location too)
my question is does anyone have a rom & kernel which gives great battery life?
please let me know
There's quite a couple of ROMs here that can give you decent battery life and great battery life. I'm currently running resurrection remix ROM which is amazing, still testing battery life but from what I've read in the threads it's quite good for an AOKP/CM10 ROM. Another good CM10 based ROM is the psycho ROM by team custom freaks. I had that too which had very good battery (on standby it lost 0% over 7hours) which is awesome

But to help you, download BBS (Better Battery Stats) from the market, and check the wake locks that the phone has. You either got a dud battery or something is running amuck in the background.

I've had my S4 for a few days now. For the first few days the battery life has been great, but now it seems to be depleting faster and faster, with "Android System" as the main culprit, usually taking over 70% of the battery used.
Anyone have any ideas as to why this could be? It's overtaking any idle processes and draining the battery even when the phone isn't being used at all.

People seem to have linked high Android System battery use with having certain samsung features enabled usually. Such as the eye tracker, etc. Do you have many of those features turned on?

The battery is still doing well, though not lasting as long as when I first purchased it. That’s partially due, I’m sure, to my not always discharging the battery before recharging. But, where it previously lasted for 4 days on a full charge and normal use, now it’s good for 2-3, depending on use. Still a very good battery and much better than the OEM.

Most people should be getting the Nexus 6p right about now or already recieved it. Please post your battery life screens here and please include screen on time and overall battery life.
Indicate standard attributes to make this easy.

I suggest updating your original post with what people should be posting when they report their battery stats. Here are my thoughts:
Screenshot: Battery stats window with list of draining apps
Screenshot: Screen on time (SoT) (press the screen line item in battery stats window)
Screenshot: Battery graph (click on the graph)
Location services: High accuracy, Low (network) or Off
Brightness adaptive: On or Off
Brightness slider (closest approx): 33%, 66% or 99%
Mention in body of post: SOT in hours
Google+ Locations: On or Off
Google Now: On or Off
PS: I will meet mine on Thursday night. It is sitting at home right now
There is already an active battery life discussion thread linked below. No need for another.

I have lately installed RR on my S3 and facing battery drain issue, It has gone from 100% to 1% after only 20 hours with only 2 hours SOT (30 min youtube and 1.5 hour surfing FB over wifi) below battery stats screen shots.
I've never used an i9300 but still use an i9305. Just by your description and the screenshots, my initial assumption is that your battery is dying or nearly dead. I doubt there's still a production line open for i9300/9305 batteries but even a new (mature) original Samsung battery might revive your device.
SOT is clearly pretty personally driven and not only depends on the used applications but also settings, network connections etc. and thus difficult to assess from anybody else but the user. However, you might want to consider to take a BetterBatteryStats (BBS) "idle dump" and to post that in the BBS thread.
