You should ask that in Q&A? Unless you're posting such a mod.

No. Even Pixel 2 XL doesn't have it, due to Snapdragon 835:
https://gadgets.ndtv.com/mobiles/fe...-stickers-manual-control-raw-4k-60fps-1776775
Another feature that’s missing in the Pixel 2 is 60fps support at 4K, something that the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X boast off.
“4K at 60[fps], unfortunately, is not something we’re going to bring to Pixel 2," says Knight. "For future products, we’ll consider it certainly. But for Pixel 2, 4K 30 and 1080 60 is the video we plan to support.”
This limitation seems to have more to do with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset than anything else though.

So, no phone using Snapdragon 835 is going to have specs better than Snapdragon 835 allow.

Correct. You need hardware support. It's no way you could do 4K encoding/decoding in software only. SD835 does not support it.
---------- Post added at 12:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:29 PM ----------
SD845 will support it (from the specs):
"
Ultra HD Premium video playback and encoding @ 4K (3840x2160) 60fps, 10bit HDR, Rec 2020 color gamut
"

try using ''MX Player Pro'' ?
@DUHAlgerianSkills Yes, but same... I think you have t800: as hardware is same, do you have freezes?
You need a 13 megapixel or higher camera to record in 4k resolution. All versions of the Tab S only have an 8 megapixel camera so it is not possible.

Ummmm..... the resolution of the screen is 1600x2560 for both tablets. Neither tablet supports video out (through an adaptor) at anywhere close to 4k resolution. So what is the point? You do not gain anything for getting a 4k video to run and you end up withna file that takes up extra space or bandwidth.
I kinda understand wanting to record 4k video, but my issue with doing thst is that if you want to record a file that is going to contain that much visual clarity you probably should pick a better camera lens then what you get on the average tablet/smartphone.
I love the screen that Samsung has put on the galaxy tab S. I love the fact my 8.4" is retina (impossible or at least very hard to notice individual pixels) at a distance of 10" (12" for the 10.5" model).

idk
I managed to record video in 4K 24fps using the open camera or LG camera app has the playstore
I know the files are huge, especially using superfine pixel resolution and other picture enhancing features. I have a Samsung NX1 camera which records 4K video, and UHD 4K, and it uses approx 100MB a minute. That's not as bad as a Red Dragon Video Camera, which records video at 250MB a second.

generic
There is no question the MDZ-18-AA can run a few cycles faster but that has nothing to do with Netflix.
No generic android box enjoys recognition and support by Netflix to produce streams higher than 480 resolution.
The MDZ-16-AB is in a unique category of Official AndroidTV devices which have the proper DRM licenses, and are authorized by Netflix to stream at 1080/4UHD resolution. All assuming you have suitable bandwidth, proper Netflix subscription level, and an output device that fully conforms to standards stipulated by Netflix.
Don't be overcome by specsmanship. For your stated requirement for Netflix in the android world, only the mdz-16-ab or another Officially blessed AndroidTV device like Nvixia Shield or Airtv box will suffice.
How to get International ROM on MDZ-18-AA (White Color)?

I have got Mibox Enhanced MDZ-18-AA
Its a beautiful device with almost no issues. but one big problem, its got Chinese OS. I want international ROM to be installed. Is there anything we can do for that?
Is there an official Int'l ROM for this device? Unofficial ROMS might be having a few bugs.

Start studying Chinese!!
Have you ever seen an official Xiaomi release of international rom for their boxes that are designed for Chinese home market? Of course not. Every box they have produced is for domestic consumption except for one......
There is a single model MDZ-16-AB that is produced for worldwide use outside PRC.
Both models are garbage, Xiaomi makes cheap Chinese junk that gets no product support. Buy an Nvidia Shield TV.
They trolled all their customers with the Mi Box pretending to release Nougat, now pretending to release Oreo. Meanwhile everyone is still stuck with a 2.5 year old OS.
Will it be possible to use software based ois on poco f1 like the pixel phones since gyroscope is present in the poco f1.
I think you mean EIS, OIS is a hardware feature.
EIS is already present in our phone till 1080p

Pixel 2 uses a combination of OIS and EIS(which uses gyroscope) to stabilize the video, our Poco f1 has no hardware support for OIS, in OIS the camera mechanically stabilizes the video
" software based ois" is the EIS and only this is supported on video capture.
If you need OIS then you need to buy a gimbal.
According to TechNick's review video, Xperia 1 III has no option to record 60fps in full 4K resolution of 3840×2160 (16:9), but only cropped 3840×1644 (21:9), even in Cinema Pro. Is this true? If so, would there be any workaround to record 3840×2160 @ 60fps? I pray someone makes a mod to unlock this functionality.

mcpro24fps this one might help, i saw ssomeone mentioned about it on youtu.be
I am waiting om my shipment, so can not verify that is a solution. Sorry
There's a free and open-source solution if the camera hardware supports 4k60 - OpenCamera. Works great with recent Sony phones because there isn't too much proprietary stuff in camera hardware.

Hello guys, I am noticing that OIS is not working in any gcam port whatsoever, neither in photo capturing nor video, even though I enabled "video stabilization" and digged into developer settings, searched for "OIS", And every option stating "OIS" is enabled.I am using BSG gcam right now, the latest version (8.7.250_A11_v15).
My phone is OnePlus Nord 2 (DENIZ) processor is mediatek dimensity 1200 AI I am noticing the effect of OIS in the stock camera app in the preview, both in photos and videos. Any help? As gcam is far better in terms of photo quality.
Thanks
Probably is not supported since it's a MediaTek SoC. Try to ask to who build the xml

I don't use any config, as there is no available for my phone (OnePlus Nord 2)
I hope it's supported soon, as many companies at the time are housing mediatek Soc in their phones, whether in high end or mid end segement
