I just got my S9+ unlocked from Samsung (US). I'm trying to install an older version of facebook messenger (91.0.0.19.70 arm version) from the apkmirrors website that's been modified with Zipsigner (latest update from the google play store) and every time I try to install the .apk through the "My Files" app, I get a "App not installed." message. Has anyone else seen this issue?
One additional note: There is no unknown sources setting that I know of in this android version.

Hey guys,
I bought a Honor 7 PLK-AL10 in China. I could install google apps an has no trouble to use it. Now I downloaded the samsung apk to use the Gear S2 with the phone. Everything works almost fine.
But now I'm having trouble to install apk's via 1 mobile market or even to install new gear apps like individual watches. I always get the message "Can't install app". Unknown sources are activated.
Google play apps still working.
Any idea how to solve this problem?

I'm using Samsung Galaxy Trend 3 SM-G3502U, having android of version 4.2.2
Since this is a Chinese device, so it was normal to be shipped without GApps. So, I tried to to install the latest version among the versions which are compatible with Android 4.2.2 of the following apps from APKMirror:
Google Play Services
Google Play Services Framework
Google Calendar Sync
Google Contacts Sync
Google Account Manager
Still, no luck, since when I tried logging into Snapchat, a pop-up "popped" out, saying that google play services is not supported by my device.
Also, when I installed and opened the latest version of Play Store among the compatible versions for Android 4.4.2 from APKMirror, it showed "Error retrieving information from server RH-01" which meant that I didn't have the compatible GApps installed.
Now, are there anymore ways to try out for me so that my phone supports Google Services Framework, or I am left out with installing a custom ROM?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!!
And wait, there is one more information I can give you if you find it useful.
Having all the apps listed above installed, I installed the "Device ID" app by Evozi. It couldn't show me the GSF. The space for that was left out empty instead.
I have a completely stock Nokia 1 TA-1047 and noticed that the Messages app (from Google) which is the default on the phone
is no longer updating in the Play Store. It's page says "This application is no longer compatible with your phone.".
The current installed version is 3.9.039. The weird thing is that it doesn't even install an updated apk from apkmirror,
it fails with "App not installed".
Anyone else get this? Any advice ?
Thanks.
I have a new phone. Samsung Galaxy A50s. Model number SM-A507FN
I downloaded Arnova's Beta 6: GCam_5beta6.200105.0445build-7.2.018.apk
for Android 9+ phones from https: // ww w. celsoazevedo. com/files/android/google-camera/dev-suggested assuming it will work on my phone. However, the app has been crashing frequently and it does not work. I have upgraded the software of the phone so it was upgraded to Android 10. Kernel 4.14.62-17887617.
This app was not installed from play store so I don't know how to uninstall it now. So please let me know how to uninstall this app. It not appear in the list of installed apps either in settings or in the play store.
Because you didn't install the app from Google Play, that's why this app doesn't appear on your play store's installed apps list. I think the reason why your apk file keeps crashing and not working is that the installed apk version isn't compatible with your device system. So it's important to find a proper apk file before downloading. Maybe you can find some useful infor abt the compatibility between device version and app version in this article apktovi.com/blogs/how-to-find-a-proper-variant-for-apk-download.
And if you're lookin' for a way to uninstall apk file, you can apply the following simple steps: Go to "My file" application>search for the apk file>long press and tap "Delete" in the upper right-hand corner. Hope this helps!!
Hello,
I have always been able to download a Google Play Store APK and then install in on all my devices running Android 11 or earlier.
But two of my devices now run Android 12 and since then I can no longer sideload Google Play Store apk's.
I get the following error
"App not installed as package conflicts with an existing package."
It's two Samsung Galaxy A21 phones
Any ideas?
Thanks
Anyone know?
