Loving the new stock keyboard, much more accurate.
I have been using Oreo 8.0 on my S8+ and now just to see what changes with 8.0 on my Note 8 .
Would this apply to US Snapdragon as well?

The changelog can also be found here translated in every language.

Unfortunately not. This is for SM-N950F Exynos.
(But it should be very much the same)

The only way would be to use *#272*IMEI# and select XEF. Your device will reset.
When the device boots again (switched to XEF), there will be screen when it says "installing smart switch". There will be a prompt informing you that your SIM does not match XEF region. Select the first option to skip.
Once booted into XEF, download the OTA and install as usual.
When the device boots into Oreo, reset it.
At the same prompt again, select the second option this time. Your device will revert to its original CSC (according to your SIM).
This is lengthy but that was how I did it. *#272*IMEI# can no longer be used to switch back to your original CSC once it's in XEF.
This didn't work for me, guess I'll have to wait for the odin files then....

Which part didn't work? Were you unable to dial *#272*IMEI# in the first place? If that's the case, you'll have to wait for your region to receive the update, unfortunately. It should arrive soon.
Correct, the dial part didn't work.
Tried resetting the phone and flash XEF without som to, nothing over OTA...

That's strange. After changing my CSC to XEF, I was able to receive the OTA immediately. Maybe try checking again?
Anyone still having Issues with EDGE lighting like whatsapp and other fews apps doesnt show edge notification while on AOD ?
If I dial *#272*imei# the menu shows, but no xef option available

Yours is a different Multi CSC. I would suggest you either download and flash XEF firmware directly or download NZC firmware. Flash and boot. Reset the phone. Then Flash Europe Multi CSC and get access to many countries CSC.

Your CSC is not part of OXM multi-CSC group. You'll have to wait for the update to be released in your region.
I advice that you do not change your multi-CSC group (by flashing a CSC from OXM). The default CSC in OXM is THL (Thailand), which does not allow switching away. Doing so will likely result in you getting stuck on THL. (Happened to my S7 edge when flashing Nougat back in 2017.)

The changelogs should be pretty much identical for both versions.

Interesting. Maybe test firmwares don't contain HOME_CSC?
There is no way that I am aware of to create one from the other components of a firmware.

I've seen some of the 965U that didn't come with a home CSC, just a normal one. They eventually do come out though typically.

Home CSC retains data. Normal CSC will wipe your device.

NP. If you're in a rush to flash and cant find a home CSC, you can leave the CSC empty. I've done that to avoid wiping. It may break OTA's in the future though. I stopped getting OTA's at one point. Not sure if it was related or not.

CSC: N950FOXM5DSB2
Device: N950F & N950FD
Regions: BGL, XXV, XID, INS, THL, XSG, WTL & ORX
Extract the files to get AP, CP, BL, CSC, and HOME_CSC files.
Flash the files using Odin 3.13.1. You can find Odin 3.13.1 here.
If you are not sure about how to flash, you can follow this guide to update Note 8 to Android Pie.
In case you don't know: CSC file will wipe your phone and factory reset it. Home_CSC file will not wipe your phone. It will not touch any of your data. So depending on whether you want to wipe data or not, select the CSC or Home_CSC file.
Note: You can install this update on any phone, in any region, as long as your device's model number is N950F or N950FD. Do not flash it on any other device.
Please don't forget to hit thanks if you find this useful.
Regards.
is this specific to that region, would it be unwise to flash this on an Unlocked SM-N950U ?

If you have a N950F, follow the available here on XDA and you should have no issues.
So I will just need to select HOME_CSC and it'll update just fine? I mean I got a different CSC atm, not similar to both these countries but it's an OXM one, it won't have issues if I select it in ODIN right?
I have NOTE8 (N950F Dual Sim) from Pakistan which CSC being PAK as well.
Can I flash it via Odin and will it keep my CSC intact and not change it to Slovakia or Bulgaria ??
Kindly mention it in the OP as well if it doesn't change CSC, as it will help noobs like me !!

I'm of the understanding that ALL Samsung stock ROMs have English built in, even if the "out of the box" default is for another language.
I've already install it and it's ok have all language spanish included

Works great. I have installed in sm-n950fd Greek model with EUR firmware and kept home_csc. I will install the EUR pie firmware as soon as it is available. Big changes with this edition. I hope battery remains as good as it was before.

Hi,
This is one of my first posts so please bare with me. You will need to download a few programs to get this working.
The first is frija. LINK - https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4886005&d=1574653611
Above app is not mine all credit to the dev in the link.
Secondly you will need Odin I'm sure you can all source this yourselves.
After downloading and installing frija, open the programme and search for SM-N970F CSC code DBT
Continue to download the firmware and then flash with odin.
Simple method if you cant wait for it to be rolled out in your country.
I am not responsible for your data or devices, follow the steps at your own risk.
This should work for note 10 plus also, just change the model number and keep the csc as DBT

no idea, but your link to sammobile has an unnecessary click thru. do not post links with click thru's on them.
I think your CSC won't be changed. I also flashed the last DBT firmware and my CSC is still BGL/XEU. I changed my CSC with UK sim card to join in the beta.

XEU is the unknown firmware with multiple CSC's in it, IIRC. Flashing the unknown firmware would require patched Odin as it would technically be carrier flashing, which is totally fine. OP, yes flashing the HOME_CSC will allow you to change the firmware without factory resetting. Unfortunately, im useless when it comes to the call recording part. I hope this helps!

if youre referring to this firmware then i would recommend against it unless you want a paperweight. You technically CAN flash any firmware for any Samsung Galaxy phone on to any other SG phone, but the wrong firmware for the wrong phone will brick it. Thats not to say that you CANT, but you really SHOULDNT.
If you want call recording, id strongly suggest obtaining it thru other methods

Hi to all.
After the recent news about One UI 2.1 on Galaxy 2019 series, a new S10 updates (which seems close to be officially released) has been reported under form of buildstrings:
*G970U1UEU3DTC3
*G973U1UEU3DTC3
*G975U1UEU3DTC3
At this point I assume that the same one will be released also for the exynos versions in April/May.
P.S = Thanks to Max Weinbach for infos.
UPDATE 1: Another community moderator has announced a more clear release timeline (between 3 weeks). More info on this article
UPDATE 1,5: Seems that Sammobile source expects the release of this update for the next week. More info on this article
UPDATE 2: Finally One UI 2.1 for S10 Exynos has been out in Switzerland. Here are the links:

UPDATE 2,5: A short introduction video about this update, found by Tagdu17
