Hello.
My phone had some charing trouble lately.
Today it stopped charging at all. I thought it's time to use warranty!
Being stupid human that don't use google I tried fastboot oem lock-go while I was using a xiaomi.eu rom.
It won't boot. I can't get into the fastboot because charging problem.
My test-point EDL shows HS-Diagnostic 900* (*- letter that I forgot)
What can I do? Please help.

You said you don't have warranty?
At this point if the port is damaged, you can't do anything unfortunately. The only thing to do is get the Device repaired. At least the micro usb port. Then you can do something.
I got around 20 months of warranty yet, and even the bootloader is locked but the device itself is bricked.
In my country any modification = warranty voided.
I'm gonna try tomorrow to use warranty, but **** - 2 weeks without phone

I bricked my phone (completely dead, the screen was not turning on even by plug the phone charged) after rooting and installing the custom recovery and try to flash a rom ... Brought to assistance, they repaired it (they changed motherboard i think).
So, if you brick your phone but still it does turn on, try every possible method to unbrick it, but send it to warranty only if is completely dead!!
I don't think they'll repair it in warranty if they found a custom recovery...
A few people here have confirmed that it IS under warranty if it doesn't turn on. There are also a few advices there on how to get it back to stock, such as shaking it (lol XD) and disabling the LG modem driver. Did you have to pay for the repairs?

no i did not pay, but the repair takes too much time... it's been a month now
if you cant turn on your phone any any possible way that you've tried. there is a big possiblity that LG service center can't too so they wont be able to know if you have rooted your phone. hehe. the trick is when LG asks you why you brick your phone, Just Lie...
Hi guys, i just bricked my phone after i tried to install the new update V10_00H. I send it for a warranty and i told them that the phone turned off after i tried to update. After 1 week they called me that the warranty is rejected because of unauthorised update. Sorry if my englosh is bad, i'm from Bulgaria. Can you please tell me what to do. Here is an another warranty service and the guy who called me, told me that he will write me a new warranty to try at the other service. Please, tell me what should i do?
Edit: What should i tell them: that the phone is bricked because of an update or it just turned off and it won't turn on.

It doesn't matter what you tell them, they will probably check the phone anyway. Stick to the story that you tried to update to the last software version using LG PCSuite and the update failed, bricking your phone. This is definitely covered by warranty.
But before that, have you tried the advices found here?

Yes I've tried and it didn't worked. I told them that when i got up this morning i found the phone turned off and it don't want to turn on again and that i don't know what happened.

Здрасти, Крис Предполагам телефонът ти е от Виваком ...You should threaten them with the Consumer Protection Commission (a.k.a Комисия за защита на потребителите. Stick to your story in your complaint to CPC and VivaCom.
By the way have you tried to reflash your phone with the KDZ Updater using the EMERGENCY, not the DIAG mode? That saved my live. Just remove your battery and plug the phone into the PC. The screen should become yellow displaying "Emergency mode". If it doesn't turn on whatever you do, it could be a hardware issue and you will not get away without taking the phone to a service.

Да телефонът ми е от Виваком. But i took it once to warranty service in Vivacom and they returned it whit the warranty rejected and unusable anymore. The guy wrote me another warranty but i think that the phone's serial number is entered in their system and no matter i take it they'll find out. But i'll have to try. I won't give up. When they returned the phone they showed me in the warranty that point 4.3 is: "The warranty is rejected when you try to manually open, repair and change the hardware or you install updates and you modify the software". That was their excuse. That's why I don't want to say that i updated it. At the other service (not Vivacom's) I'll say that the phone just went off and it doesn't want to turn on. Hopes this work.
Any updates on the matter? My phone is bricked too. Happened last night, it won't turn one now. Took it to the service center & they said that high chances are that I will get a replacement.
they're not actually replacing with a new one..they'll replace it with a refurbished one.

They took the entire box & told me that it will replaced with an unopened, brand new retail box
I cant see My IMEI and networks... What to do.?? I installed devoid-froyo-final.zip using custom recovery CWM
THe zip installed successfully but , i am not getting connected to my network.!!!!!!
Shows "NO SERVICE" in the notification..
I was using Final Official Russian 2.3.3 v.20B_00.KDZ before installing this..

Hi all,ok i have had a rooted samsung galaxy s3 i1900 for the last 8 mths and dont no what is going on but last nite it decided to switch itself of and stay stuck on the Samsung logo boot up screen, ive tried all the obvious like a soft/hard reset and taking the battery out and trying to put into recovery mode, but it doesnt want to no , also even when i plug in mains charger im getting no red light to say its charging, so before i take back to vodafone can i just make sure it is bricked and there is nonthing i can do, vodafone said yes they will send of to samsung for repair free of charge as its still under the 12 mth warranty, only reason im posting this is to definately check there is nonthing else i can try with the help from other members on here, many thanks and hope to hear soon from brian..
can you boot it into download mode?
If you can still access recovery then it isn't a dead motherboard, probably the system partition is corrupt which a reflash of the ROM will solve - or go for the warranty repair. The rooting shouldn't invalidate the warranty.

A couple of weeks ago i bought a htc mozart. It was sold as a broken phone for reppair, cause there is a trouble with software.
The phone doesn't start up - the green HTC logo comes out and the phone vibrates about 5-7 times.
The previous owner had tried to update the phone through Zune, and when the update process got stuck, he disconnected the USB cable.
The phone is half-bricked now.
I've been trying to resurrect it for weeks now. I made built an Y-cable and tried to make goldcards with more than 10 usb-sticks, SDcards and readers. The cable is done and works correctly. Whatever i do - the flasing won't go further than "Enter USB host" screen.
I know that i need to downgrade the bootloader first. I tried to do that using all the instructions given on the internet
I do not know the exact ROM version installed on the phone, as it doesn't boot up. I tried all the versions from 1.23 to 1.30, but no success here either.
SPL version is 5.11.2250.1 and the device belongs to the European region.
I'm actually too lazy to register on forums, but this time i've done that, cause i tried everything i could find and the phone is still bricked..
Need your, help xda!
Don't bother trying I ve similar problem with yrs I m waiting to buy a cheap mobo to replace as I ve been trying for 2 months. Its the mobo that's screwed.

Yesterday I tried to flash new android version using Odin 3.7. It got stuck on half way and the phone restarted, which never turned on again... No download mode n recovery mode either....

Are you sure that it's charged? Leave it in charge fore 10 mins and then try recovery or download mode.
You know, you can create a jig by yourself if you have a proper working USB-cable. Look for guides for this
Other things i don't know, then only a motherboard replacement can fix it.
If you hadn't flashed anything unofficial, would you still have warranty? Cause i "had" warranty when i hardbricked my (rooted) gt-i9100 and they still fixed it...

I really appreciate your reply. I had charged it for more than 3 hours.. but still not turning on... Can you give me a good guide on making the USB jig....

I've bricked my Redmi Note 3 SP while I was restoring a CM backup via TWRP. I think I probably restored an erroneous partition.
At first, I was able to enter Fastboot, but my PC wasn't recognizing it (Power surge problem) and I had no one else available at the moment to test.
Probably my phone lost all the battery and now it is completely dead. I think I'm being unable to charge it.
I tried I lot of tutorials but my phone is still bricked. I have only not tested the pin test solution as I'm uncomfortable about it.

you can try the deep flash cable method first if you are uneasy about opening the phone up (never tried but I've heard this is what the service centers use)

do it properly, it absolutely works fine, did you unlocked your boot loader unofficially..? if it so, then it will not work.
Deep flash cable is the best method for you,

I've unlocked my phone officially, but it appears to be really dead.
Phone just heats but I don't see any sign it is charging or connected to pc.

if you unable to enter EDL by any means, take it to the service centre, i hope its not old than a year,
I have my phone for just a few months, but I'm afraid they could not to repair it as it happened cause of mistake made by me.
I will try to find someone who had the same problem I'm facing and had resolved it a few more days.

Had the same issue as yours, tried everything, nothing worked.
Finally had to go to service center, turned out that my motherboard was dead.
Motherboard will arrive in some 15-20 days, till then i have the phone in my drawer.
They said they will replace it as soon as it arrives,just have to wait now, it has already been 10-12 days!
How did it happened to you? It happens while you are using your phone normally, or after a wrong flash as with me?

no it is with them i will inform you once i get it
I've already received the phone from the (unofficial) service center.
They just reinstalled all the software of the phone, probably using the method of the pin test.
