[Q] Rooting and Unrooting Xperia U

Dear XDA member....!!
I new to this forum and I am a average android user.
I am using Xperia U and got to know the benefits of rooting the phone from the XDA.
i am gonna root my phone for the first time in life. I will root my droid with flashtool-0.9.9.0.
But I have some questions in my mind, which are as follows:-
1) Rooting with flashtool-0.9.9.0 will void my warranty?, if yes, than how can i get it back.
2) If in case i want to unroot the phone than how can i do the same without damaging.
I just asked this questions before rooting my device, as i dont want my device to be damaged. I am very happy to see the way all members help each other. Even the new members, like me, got full support / help which is really amazing.
Thanks in advance..!
Regards...

Search the many guides. You should find what you need with a little searching.
Thanks for reply... i went through several forums .... i have a locked bootloader with 5.0.2.. am confused with the first step...
1. Should I unlock my bootloader??
or
1. Should I flash with 4.4, then install custom recovery and then flash rooted roms??
I am not concerned of warranty, but m concerned of losing my baseband .. please suggest !!
If you don't care about warranty, unlock your bootloader, flash some kernel with recovery and flash custom ROM.

You must unlock bootloader before you install non stock Rom. Before doing this, you must have a recovery.
