Hey guys,
Few days ago I bought new S2 for my girlfriend, put in a sim card, then got a message from operator with internet and mms configuration, I installed it and after that I noticed that mobile data internet connects only on EDGE, but not 3g. ROM is stock.
Any suggestions how to fix it ?

But have you already changed the setting in Settings>Mobile Network?
You need to change the preferred network type.

I wanted to let everyone know that Wi-Fi calling works on the Galaxy S9 unlocked lock version with T-Mobile
Confirmed. USA unlocked version works with T-Mobile US Wifi Calling
I've got an unlocked S9+ from Samsung, I'm on Verizon, and I don't even see the option for WiFi calling. Where is the option located? Does it show up after you activate on T-Mobile? I've asked Verizon if it can be provisioned to the phone and they said it is... Could anyone point me in the right direction?

This was a known issue on the unlocked S8/S8+ as well. There were some semi-convoluted workarounds, but it wasn't as simple as a check box. I bought the unlocked version knowing full well I'd face some Verizon issues, but will likely be transitioning off them in a few months anyway.

I'm on an unlocked Blackberry Keyone on verizon and had thought so as well. Somebody on Crackberry forums posted a solution for wifi calling that ended up working for me, but I had to call Verizon as well. I preordered my S9+ the other day and am disappointed wifi calling is not available out of the box, but ultimately not surprised. Hopefully there will be a workaround. Glad it is for the T-Mo guys.
Okay. This morning I'm going to eat my own words on one thing. I woke up and overnight, a Visual Voicemail app had installed itself from the Samsung store. Low and behold, it talked to Verizon and I can see my voicemails. At this point, only Wi-Fi calling is missing.

What is the name of the app? I can't find anything in the Samsung store that appears to be a Verizon VVM app.

I don't see it listed either. That's really weird. I wouldn't have known it was installed if I hadn't seen the notification. It works with Verizon though.

This may be more detailed than you guys need, but if you can find the app in GALAXY apps and use Lightflow, you're there. I don't know how the Voicemail works standalone, but I wanted the LED indicator and the sound of my choice. Voila !
This app is available through GALAXY APPS, not Samsung Apps. I got it to work, without rooting, using Lightflow as follows:
Open Lightflow
Choose Notification Settings
Choose red "+" plus sign at the bottom right
Choose "From System event, battery, gps, etc.
From "Select system notifications to add", roll down to Voice Mail, check the box, choose "Add"
This will add Voicemail to your Lightflow notifications list, and then you have to pick your settings for it.
On Lightflow's Notification page, find dark blue "Voicemail" and open the "three dots" to the right, choose "settings"
The setting menu is a "slide to the right" type menu. I used "light" , enable light, choose a color, etc. I chose dark blue to match the icon.
So now, I have a dark blue "Voicemail" icon in my apps, and Lightflow makes it chime the sound I chose and lights up the LED at the top of the S9, in dark blue, and it blinks, so I know a voicemail is there. It also shows up on the notification panel.

Not on the unlocked version. There are a few hidden WiFi calling settings, but none actually stay set to on. Unless someone has found a way, I'd have to say no at this point.

A Wifi calling check tool
Many retail mobiles have "Wifi Calling" / "Vowifi" function but not any menu entry to enable , The APP can check the hidden function and enable it if can use.

How
Your carrier has to support it. When it became available here in Germany they send me a text telling me I could activate it online. Only after that it started working.
Does this phone have Wi-Fi or VoLTE support for T-Mobile US?

my plan also includes wifi-calling, but i cant find the setting to turn it on
I've been trying to find a way to enable this so I can fully switch over from my note 9.
From what I've read WiFi Calling won't work on a non-carrier ROM. I've read that Verizon may soon support this phone and they probably will have their own ROM that will support WiFi Calling.

Does it support regular 4g LTE for things like data as I read some places that it doesn't support it anyways thanks
I ended up returning the phone since it didn't support VoLTE or Wi-Fi Calling these are a must have for me.

It does support 4G data its 4G phone !
But you need to setup the APN for data to work !
It seems it cant get the APN automatically nor via SMS !
You can ask your carrier for the APN settings
Hello I’m new to android I’ve had a iPhone for the past 8+ years. I went with the Xiaomi mi a3 and I have ATT as my service here in the USA. So I’m wondering how do I get the WiFi calling to work I need it bad!!

No guarantee it will work, but you can try inputting the following codes in Phone > Dial pad to disable carrier check (to re-enable it just input the same code again) :
For Enhanced 4G (VoLTE) :
*#*#86583#*#*
For WiFi Calling :
*#*#869434#*#*
For my case, WiFi Calling option appear but not working.
Good luck!

Don't need to reset phone, just restart if you want. Then check :
Settings > Wireless & network > Mobile network > Enhanced 4G > ON
Phone > Settings > Calling account > Sim1/Sim2 > Wifi calling > ON
Like I said earlier, may or may not work. In my case, wifi calling is still not working.
Hey @ykkhern do you have another wonder code you could sell me? If so i’m really interested in buying it, could you please message me on discord NavXo#3226 or email me [email protected]

WiFi calling
Update to the Latest firmware and apply the second code from the first post!!
*#*#869434#*#* for WiFi calling
Now use a carrier who supports wifi calling !!
Try this video : https://youtu.be/k7gL28bDsEo from 1:42 as a proof !!
Thanks in advance
I just followed the guide and have both vowifi and volte enabled in my wife's mi A3.
It goes without saying that I had previously enabled the vowifi in her carrier.
