This seems you have TEST/DEMO (H850 Model) Set that is not allowed to unlock bootloader.
ONLY H850 with valied IMEI pasted on the back of mobile canbe unlocked.
But the cell phone is working perfectly fine..also support sim card.. And in setting..its written lg h850

LG has released the H850 for different geographical regions. The bootloader is only unlockable on the European version of the H850, and it's possible that your H850 is from one of the blacklisted regions. You can get some information by looking at the software version in "About Phone" in Settings. You're looking for something like "V10i-EUR-XX."
Now question is how can i unlock boot loader ? If i have different 850 model..so it means i cannot unlock boot loader by any means ? And cant instal any custom rom ever ?

Autoprime has published the definitive thread on unlocking the H850 bootloader here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/development/official-european-lg-g5-h850-bootloader-t3363040
You may still be able to root you phone with instructions found here:

Good luck!

Just bootloader unlock won't help for the carrier branded models. Here's why... the T-mobile LG G6 already has bootloader unlock, but LG removed all the other ADB flash commands. So, bootloader unlock is useless on the T-mobile LG G6. Six months later, still no root, no TWRP custom recovery. It's like having the keys to a new car but the car has been melted down to block of metal. The keys are useless.

Some more information on the T-mobile LG G6 from an expert:
autoprime said:
T-mobile H872 G6 doesn't have root yet and will only have root once they have a method to get TWRP onto the device. Fastboot boot/flash commands are disabled so it will take an exploit of some sort to get TWRP flashed to the recovery partition.
The only other G6 device that will have root is whatever device LG adds to the official bootloader unlock list which can be found here: http://developer.lge.com/resource/mobile/RetrieveBootloader.dev?categoryId=CTULRS0703
The models added to the bootloader unlock list will be the models to get for proper bootloader unlock, TWRP and root without jumping through hoops like the Tmobile H872 variant does. (currently U.S. and European unlocked carrier LG G6)
For all the other G6 variants without bootloader unlock (AT&T, Verizon, us cellular, canadian, australian, south american, korean, chinese, etc..), a new root method of some sort would be needed but there is nothing public yet. Once a public root arrives and if a debug bootloader image is leaked (like the LG V20) then other G6 variants might be able to have an unlocked bootloader allowing TWRP and permanent root.
Just laying out all the current info to this date. I have no plans to work on any of this as I do not have the device.

Even if you could unlock the bootloader to the other carrier-branded models, LG has probably removed the ADB flash commands from those phones as well? Only the official carrier unlocked versions are eligible for REAL bootloader unlock, the way you are thinking about.
Look down in the development section here for the official carrier unlocked LG G6 (which is eligible for REAL bootloader unlock with ADB flash commands present). TWO pages of ROMs, kernels, custom recovery.
Yet, over on the "bootloader unlocked" T-mobile LG G6 forum, there's 23 pages of root begging thread, which has now been abandoned as a lost cause.
Not only would you have to get bootloader unlock from LG, they would have to add back the ADB flash commands -- or a dev find some exploit to get TWRP custom recovery installed. And that's not been possible yet on the T-mobile LG G6, even though it's bootloader unlocked!
If you are interested in dev stuff for your phone, sell your LG G6, and get one of the official carrier unlocked models -- either the LG G6 or even the new LG V30.

For the carrier-branded models, yeah probably no hope.
My point is LG will say if you are interested in REAL bootloader unlock, they already provide that for the official carrier unlocked models.
Removing the ADB flash commands on the carrier-branded models was very devious "security" method so that cracking the bootloader on carrier models with an exploit (like Dirty Santa) still wouldn't do any good.
With the T-mobile LG G6, devs have has six months to try to find some method of installing TWRP on that unlocked bootloader and not been successful. They may do it some day, but when? Meanwhile the carrier unlocked models have bootloader unlock AND ADB flash commands. If you were a dev, do you go through the already open door or try to break through the brick wall?
Decided to sell my G6 and switch to Samsung after this twitter reply from lg.. this will be last lg phone i bought until they let us unlock bootloader or anyone unofficially unlock..

Why? They said that they don't make the policy of what to unlock.
LG provides two phones that are unlocked and you can develop on.
Most carriers do not want you to have a rooted phone.
Samsung has KNOX which is even worse. If you try to root the phone you can trip KNOX and brick the device.
Samsung does not unlock devices unless you buy a, wait for it, developer version.
HTC is fairly easy if you find someone to S-OFF the device. But that's not HTC.
Mototola will not unlock the bl on branded phones. On other phones it's hit or miss.
LG with their carrier unbranded phones and Google seem to be the most supportive.
If you buy a Pixel from Verizon, the BL is locked and you can't unlock it.

Glad you found a solutions.
IT varies from country to country and sometimes I forget that.
Here in North America (US and Canadian carriers) getting a Samsung unlocked phone just isn't normally possible.
You can't get a version that supports North American LTE with a boot loader you can unlock.
LG and HTC along with Google phones that are unbranded usually can be unlocked here.
Never buying or getting an lg phone ever again...not even for free. Biggest mistake I have ever made...

check the t-mobile threads. there's already someone trying to do just that
Can we start a petition to at least unlock the boot loader for Non carrier branded G6 versions ?
I am losing more and more confidence in LG on supporting our device after their concentration on V series and branding change for G series.
We definitely need software support to our phone to justify all the initial hypes and the money we spent.
Please clear my mind, if someone is officially unlock the bootloader for LG G6 (H870 or US997), then the phone will just lost the warranty. So LG will deny the device.
Than why the other types has not got the possibility to unlock.
If they do so, then we (customers) will have just one way - not to buy phones from them in the future.
Hello,
I just started the petition "LG Electronics: Unlock boot loader for all variants of unlocked LG G6 Smartphone" and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name.
My goal is to reach 100 signatures and I need more support. You can read more and sign the petition here:

Thanks!

Same pinch.
I am coming from LG Google Nexus 5x and I am already suffered a lot for coming out of Nexus line.
I assumed that we can at least Install custom firmware and can be in the bleeding edge.
But LG has prevented that as well.
I would also never buy an LG Phone again.

You need the right file sent by LG because content of the file depends by your IMEI and Device ID. Each unlock.bin file is unique.

Same here. I don't do much dev work or CFW now, but I hate that it's not even possible with this variant. I owned a Google Nexus 6P that started having battery drain issues at just over a year. Nexus Protect will send you another phone for $75, but since they refuse to acknowledge that the battery issue exists, if it starts having issues, they expected me to pay $75 to get another defective one. No thanks.
This phone can't be unlocked, but I suppose I'm just thankful that it doesn't drop to 20% battery in 2 hours and then shut off 10 mins later!
I have an Australian LG G5 H850 and I tried unlocking the bootloader but it's not supported for Australian models. I still would like to root it. I've read that it is possible to root without unlocking bootloader. How can I do this? I've tried kingoroot/kingroot as my last resort which also failed.

all the variants from Australia is not supported (i have the optus variant) and i have confirmed this with lg support as well lg dev.
I've just received OPTUS instead of requested European model and considering sending it back to the seller. Do you think there is any real chance unlocking bootloader for OPTUS will be available in the future? Is LG have any positive history of allowing unlocking more models with time?

This was my first LG phone and first phone that came with a locked bootloader. From what I've read there's next to no chance that LG will expand the list of models that can have their bootloader unlocked any time soon :crying: stuck with this phone 1 more year.
Is it possible to distinguish Australian from European without turning it on? Is there any signs on box? At a glance nothing at Australian box tells it's not an usual H850 - model everywhere marked as "H850" without any suffixes. Is European model marked in some other way, like "H850.EUR" on box?
I'm planning to import a brand new Japan version of Pixel 6 from a shop. I was told that the phone is not locked to any specific carrier and can be used on any network. Since the phone is not carrier locked, is that mean the bootloader can also be unlocked? Is there any relation between locked carrier and locked bootloader? I wanna buy a phone which can have unlocked bootloader. The shop people said they won't be able to check OEM Unlocking status.
you can unlock the bootloader. I have Japanese version and i changed the model to International and again locked it.
Have a look here.
Cheers
Tom
