Oh man I'm really sorry. I didn't get your problem. Thats why I replied a link to unlock the bootloader. In yur case there is nothing to do. Your phone doesn't allow you to unlock bootloader. changing NO to YES cannot be done.Sorry for that.
but you can try out roms that support Loked Bootloader.

Have you ever tried this rom>>> https://forum.xda-developers.com/xp...om-existenz-marshmallow-v1-0-0-28-04-t3367860
existenz is one of the best rom for z2. Supports locked bootloader as well. It has many features, configurations.

Your only hope would be EXistenZ ROM.. It is known to be the most stable advanced ROM.. And it is the best solution for LOCKED bootloader..

No no.. EXistenZ is a stock based so it is 6.0.1 Marshmallow..
Unfortunately, on locked bootloader, there is no way to flash ROMs other than stock or stock based..

No, TWRP is installed for you to root your phone or install Xposed (The system mode one) but rooting doesn't mean you unlocked the phone..
Try EXistenZ latest version and you will have a better experience than stock..

[Q] Xperia z2 lollipop root?

Hello,
I'm Yazan and I'm new to this developing stuff. I had an old Samsung that I used to play with and rooted it but moving to the Xperia z2 was a big upgrade. I have very low experience and would love to root my Xperia z2. I have updated it to the generic lollipop update and would like to know if there is a way to root it. And also could I downgrade to 4.4.4 KitKat root it and install a rooted 5.0 stock ROM?
Thanks for the help. I'll be waiting. :fingers-crossed:
You need to downgrade it to 4.4.2 Kitkat, root it, install Dualrecovery, and then flash a prerooted lollipop firmware via recovery.
Please search the forum for how to do it..

... So I could flash (downgrade) a stock 4.4.2 ROM directly from 5.0.2 using flashtool, then root it and install dual recovery then flash the 5.0 pre rooted rom using the recovery? And btw my bootloader is locked should I unlock it first.

No need to unlock bootloader... Just do as you said...
The intention of downgrading firmware is to gain root without unlocking bootloader.

Haha, thanks I'm sort of new... Thanks though. and which ROM should I choose... 17.1.2.A.0.314 or 17.1.1.A.0.402. My device is D6503
You may use 17.1.2.A.0.314 to downgrade.

I unlocked the bootloader kitkat. what I have to unlock it again ?. How do I install the kernel installed on this lolipop to have twrp?
Wysłane z mojego C6833 przy użyciu Tapatalka
its either you already have a TWRP on the previous version which is KitKat, if not make your phone rooted, unlocked bootloader with recovery before doing or flashing this new version (Lollipop)

I am on the GPe port as well. What steps did you exactly take to flash this Sony ROM?
Did you flash another Recovery or Kernel first or did you flash it from the TWRP which is part of Scrubbers port?

This happens because ur trying to install a nougat developer rom over a marshmallow stable rom
u need to flash marshmallow version of developer rom first then u can install a nougat version
but mark that once u flashed the nougat beta u cant revert back untill u unlock ur boot loader
