Hi!
My note 3 is running nearly all the time in DND mode.
I am running bootleggers rom based on 8.1.
When i get a notification blinking led is allowed also in DND mode but my problem is that this blinking doesn´t stop until i read the msg.
I´ve tried light manager app but that doesn´t work in DND mode and when i simply turn the volume down every incoming msg i announced by vibration.
Does any1 know how to set a timeout for the oreo LED notifications or to get a real silent mode so that i can use light manager app instead?
Thx in advance!

I have a issue with notification and apps.. In the notification of my apps, the settings the vibraton is ON, in Sound Settings the "Sound + Vibration" is checked, but when i'm on normal mode (sound) the vibration doesn't work ..
I gotta say that when i put on Vibration mode (sound off) vibration works well with all notification ..
The vibration with sound mode is working only when i got a call..
So the issue come only when i got a notification and sound mode..

In the sound settings there are only three options
sound - Notification vibrates , can controls ringtone vibration
vibrate - Notification vibrates , No sound
silent - No vibration or sound
The problem is it keeps vibrating every time it receives notification.

Hello, what happened to the silent mode with the vibration from WhatsApp or Facebook with LED notification ? Seems to be missing from the Lollipop update.
Vibrate mode on Z3
I had the same problem but found this on another forum:
"lower the ringtone volume then tap on the bell icon".
It does work. I only got my new phone last week. I was just getting used to where everything was when the update changed things. Sigh.
Since 5.0, it has been a painful to get to true silent mode with Android. If you press the volume down button all the way, it tuns into vibrate instead of mute. However, in the past, I can just click on the vibrate icon and it turns into silent mode. With Marshmallow though this trick no longer works. Are there any ways around it? I do not like or want the DND mode because I still want to know when my e-mails and other notifications are coming in, I just don't want my Nexus 9 to beep or vibrate when they do. Thanks.
You will still get notified at the notification bar, although without sound or vibration, when you turn on DND mode. So you will see it there when you switch on the tablet. I guess this is the true silent mode you mean?

Hi Everyone,
Can anyone tell me how to turn OFF Automated Tasks Notifications on Redmi Note 4 Global 8.2.10? eg: If I have an automated task to turn on Airplane Mode daily I get a notification every day that this has happened. How do I stop this notification.
TIA
Greg
No ideas anyone?
Do you have solution ?
Its notification is quite annoying since I have to schedule to power on/off in automated task at mid night, then it sounds notification 5~6 times before the phone off. Crazy...
Tempo solution is I must add an silent mode before the 'schedule to power on/off in automated task"
