Just read that LOS 15.1 is now available as a build for treble, along with RROS.
Has anyone tested these on the H9 yet, I'm not too keen on risking bricking by phone (again) since I really don't have time to sort it out, let alone see if custom ROMs will work.

The situation with Nougat ROMs is a bit confusing for me so I have several questions:
First question:
@andr68rus is working on several N ROMs at the same time:
Resurrection Remix
Dirty Unicorns 7.1.2
AOKP ROM for LeMax 2
Can you tell which one's the best, most future proof project? Did he even stop maintaining on of them?
Second question:
What about the official Lineage Builds?
How well maintained are they? Is this the way to go in the future?
Third question: I'm currently using TeamWin twrp-3.0.2-1-x2. Do I need a new TWRP for N?
Thanks for eventual help.
Aside from Dirty Unicorns, most of the ROMs are Lineage based. I believe @andr68rus is taking a break from DU to focus on resolving issues in the Lineage based ROMs he's building.
In fact, I believe most of the Nougat ROMs (not just andr68us') are based off the work done for Lineage 14.1 so it will probably be the best maintained. I've switched to the Unofficial Lineage 14.1 for now and probably will go with the Official (assuming it goes official, though I don't see why it wouldn't) unless some other ROM has a feature that's "must have" to me.
With regards to TWRP, I think your's should be fine, but you might want to give MultiROM a try so you can switch between ROMs. I currently have LOS 14.1 as my internal, and DU 7.1.2 & AOKP - MM as secondaries. I'm using Lineage as my daily driver, but it's nice to know I can boot back to AOKP if I have an issue. I didn't have problems with DU, but I didn't place any calls and I saw some complaints about things like echo and call volume, which is why I went to Lineage. DU did feel a bit "smoother' to me, but I'm not sure if it's just placebo because it was the first Nougat ROM I used, or if it's because it's AOSP rather than Lineage based.
When using MultiROM, just don't freak out if flashing a ROM messes up your PIN codes in all your other ROMs. There's a flashable zip to remove the pin codes from a ROM (which really just deletes a few files) and afterwards you can add you PIN back.
Thanks for the answer. With Official Lineage I've meant the ROMs from download[DOT]lineageos[DOT]org/x2 . The thing I don't understand is how well maintained that is. Do they have their own people working on the ROM, or are those people from here?
Edit: I just realized that the ROMs there are 13.0 which is supposedly Android 6.0. So there are no official Lineage 14 ROMs jet. That's where my confusion came from.

I'm using your Lineage 13.0 UNOFFICIAL atm. I've tried AOKP but the battery drain was too high. The 13.0 seems fine. I guess I'll wait a bit till the N ROMs a more mature.
Curious if anyone has released or is working on ROMS for the tmo device now that root has been firmly established for the device?
This is to ask for anything Oreo or Pour based as Google or AOSP, Lineage or other variant?
I've seen there's a treble install in the community somewhere too but may not want to float that route although it'll be standard process we'll get to eventually
I want to float something that rids the phone of LG and onto actual goodness.
.....?

at least LineageOS 15.1 should have a H932 variant thanks to @me2151
I'm just wondering what are the possible reasons why an Official Lineage 17 isn't out yet. Is it because it doesn't have a maintainer or is it something else?
Proprietary_vendor_xiaomi is still down due to the DCMA take down... until they decide what they want to do with the material that contributed to the take down there will be never an OFFICIAL lineage based rom from them. There may be unofficial for sure which is going to be just as good but no official builds

Firstly, Official Pie builds are still up. So nothing is down or stopped.
Secondly, Official LineageOS 17 is not up because it does not exist yet for any device.
Tell me one device which has Official Lineage 17.
Let LineageOS finalise it first. You cannot have something that does not exist.
Please do not spread mis-information.
For quite a while now I've been making LineageOS 15.1 ROMs for the Axon 7.
I think Android 8.1 is still a very capable Android version and there's still support (without using different solutions) for Xposed and some other things. So far I'm still pretty happy with it, but as there are absolutely no fixes and so on in the source anymore and every month one has to hope that it still gets the latest security update, I wanted to ask you guys if you'd still like to see further updates on this ROM (hopefully with more security updates), or if there is any other ROM that is based on Android 9, as Android 10/LineageOS 17.1 isn't ready yet and probably will take a bit more time till it can be a Daily Driver.
The advantage of Android 9/LineageOS 16 is that the source is still being updated (and not only device specific) and that it gets Security Updates much earlier.
So, I guess a Poll would help here...
Due to overwhelming demand I will continue with the 15.1 builds for now. :silly:
I'd love to see a ROM that supports signature spoofing :good:
Anyways, thanks for the work you've done here
What's up guys? I have a question, currently my device has Lineage 19.1 ROM installed (Unofficial), I'm not having any problems or anything like that, quite the contrary, it's super stable, but I'd like to test some GSI ROMs on my device, since there aren't many build options for it specifically (LGE G850UM). So I wanted to know if I can leave Lineage 19.1 and install a GSI through TWRP without having to go back to Stock ROM... how to do this smoothly? Also wanted an indication of a GSI on Android 12 or 13 that runs stably on it. Thanks for reading this far!

Hey! If you have enough knowledge about GSIs (image type required for your device, disable Verity etc. ), then you can proceed to flash any GSI(present version or above). As I don't have the device model that you're having, i can't say much about it. CLICK HERE for more information, maybe you'll find something about your device.
Note: it's best to have stock firmware downloaded in case something goes wrong
