could you please share the link?
I'm also trying even I ordered a new one, but next time I'm not gonna try to update or edit the firmware for sure. since the constructors abandon those devices after selling.

Hi @ll,
today i revived an old bricked MiniM8S II which i rediscovered in the junk-bin.
I bricked it by flashing an incompatible FW, which led to bootloops and a read-only-serial console. No matter what i tried, i couldn't make it boot from microSD, it kept on booting from eMMC and running into a bootloop.
When i bridged the pads marked in green

it booted into recovery mode
It looks as if there's supposed to be a pushbutton, so i added one.
I made a burndisk in linux as outlined here using this rom image, inserted the microSD into the device, held the new button down and powered it on.
And then it started flashing :good:
Hope this helps someone, since i haven't found anyone else mentioning this method.

Hi,
When you say bridged the pads it means soldering ? Or short pin is enough ?
So you do it then power on and it will boot to recovery ?
Do you think it could fix this issue also ? As it is running almost the same board.
Thank you for your help.
Kind regards,

I'd contact your "friend" in Egypt to sort out his mess.
Beware of ANY YouTubers that claims to be able to do stuff that isn't on XDA.
If it isn't on XDA, it's probably fake, and/or will brick your phone as you have found out at your cost.
This guy could have cost you your phone, but...it was your decision to continue with this.

any updates? I've got similar issue with the "The current image (boot/recovery) has been destroyed, please flash the correct image"
I am a custom rom tester and the problems I know due to these situations are:
1. It is possible that a problem like this is experienced only because of flashing any custom rom and returning to the stock rom because when you flash a custom rom and return to your stock rom you will have problems like this.
this kind of problem has only one solution and it is.........
