Ok can you update the post once it has been found?
So, anyone flash this yet? I'm tempted but won't be back home to a PC (in case something goes wrong) until tonight. Just looking for some general impressions.
So, I did this. Pretty impressed with the overall device feel now, SE9 is nice . No hang ups other thank it took a long friggin' time, also remember this will WIPE all the data, so make sure to do a backup prior to. The initial/first phone setup is very iPhone-ish, imo.

Be warned; this update is ONLY for SM-G930A firmware - it has a second-stage updater that blocks all other versions (including SM-G930T, which I myself tried). In other words, it is a carrier-specific update, folks.

You could try flashing G930A firmware in Odin and updating that way.
(Not sure it'll work though)

If it weren't for this being a daily driver, I'd consider it. However, because it is, that's not an option. So I'll have to wait for either a neutral version or one that will work with the SM-G930T.
I am currently testing it out, I was on the latest U firmware and downloaded the latest ATT firmware, will update on how it goes
**EDIT
I am getting a model mismatch trying to flash G930AUCS4BRA1 (full odin file) on to a G930UUES4BRA1 firmware

Really? Mine has been very good, but to be honest I didn't try Marshmallow extensively, the Nougat update was already rolled out when I bought the device.
Let's see what Oreo brings to the table!
This are the main differences I noticed so far, the speed animation was increased by double.
The only app with exclusive features I have is YouTube, yo can detach the video window onto the home screen, and the notifications change color based on the video playing.
And first Oreo rom out here :good:
I got the download A520FXXU4CRD5
I want system dump of stock oreo
can you share us a zip file?

Guys I installed Oreo (not a big improvement to android 7) but I can't root it now. Before I used TWRP with Magisk but now it won't install TWRP. Can anyone help me to root it?
Did anybody succeed to install the Stock firmware from this via Odin? My JOdin r1035 says corrupt files detected and won't do anything.
Then I unpacked all the files and flashed with heimdall 1.4.1 to the respective partitions.
That seemed to work to a degree but tripped my warranty bit and the phone wouldn't boot past the Galaxy A5 screen. Then I installed TWRP and HadesRom and now I am on this until further notice. I would like to get back to stock at some point but this doesn't seem to work with the old JOdin. I don't have a Windows computer. All I have is a Mac from work for a couple of weeks and at home all Linux.

stuck at file analysis. Or do tar images just take a lot longer?
so this may be a silly question, but my att s7 is currently at Baseband Version: G930AUCS4APK1 and on Android Version: 6.0.1. When clicking software update, it always tell me there is no update available so I've been stuck with this.
is this something I can download and install via Odin?

Quick update, I tried to install it and it failed with all the Odin versions I had, but then I used the "Odin3 v3.13.1_3B_PatcheD" version, and its working like a charm now finally I'm out of that 6.0.1 and at the latest!

i don't think at&t updates phones if your sim card is from another carrier . you will have to flash probably nougat first then oreo. at&t files are scarce but if you search here at "AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7" forums to see what you can find. you might have to go through a whole series of flashes before you can get oreo though. Alternatively, you can flash G930U firmware from sammobile just to get to about BRA1 or so then start flashing the most resent at&t files posted here or you can just. You could also just stay on g930u. If you are with at&t you should call customer service or go to your nearest retail location. if you've never used odin you should look up on youtube how to flash

Hi guys,
I have g930aucs4bqe1 version can i do the update directly?
Hi
My actual baseband version is : G930AUCU4BQF3. I can't update via OTA update because I live outside US (no AT&T sim) so I'm stuck to that baseband version. My question is do I need to update to the latest update of Nougat or can I update directly to Oreo with these files. Thanks

So, what is userdata?
A lot of people think this is carrier bloat only. However, userdata also contains the files necessary to activate carrier specific features. Without it, you may not be able utilize all of the carrier features that the phone is capable of providing. Please note that carrier userdata may not be available for your carrier.

Flash the firmware:
First, extract the compressed firmware to a folder on your PC.

Choose HOME_CSC to not wipe your phone, or CSC_ (preferred option when switching between unlocked and carrier versions) to wipe your phone .
Optionally, select the userdata (User Data) box, then select the file beginning with USERDATA_.
Now, click start and wait for the magic.
Disconnect the cord when the phone reboots.

The ARF5 Isn't official, at least not yet. If you use apps like SamsungPay that rely on safety net, you're best off not to use that version, at least until or if it becomes official.

Gotcha!
Also, in the OP you could help clarify what the other guy was talking about by stating that this firmware is US Xfinty which is a Verizon MVNO. I think thats what the other guy may have meant. When you look at the OP quickly you do get the impression that this may be for the unlocked U1. But eitherway... Thanks for posting it! Much better than trying to download from SamMobile!!!

The reason I say it *was* misleading is because the title made it seem like there was a U1 version of the 2ARF2 release. While I'm not in that boat, there are people looking to swap carriers, which requires flashing to the U1 to remove carrier settings, before then flashing to a new carrier.

Samsung Pay does usually work on the unoffial / pre-release releases. Samsung Pay only relies on Knox.

Nice one. Which version of the S9+ do you have? and which firmware were you running?
I have a korean S9+ that i got from my father in law, when i was in Korea last summer. Im running G965NKSU1CRLL/G965NOKR1CRLL/G965NKOU1CRLK.
First impression of PIE , is stabile atm. But need to run it for abit more. Visually i like that they have moved the clock to top left corner
And that there is more settings for the navbar, now i can almost hide it and only use swipe gestures at the bottom of the screen.
I checked my co-workers S9+ norwegian non carrier bound phone today, he also got the PIE OTA update today.
How to fix "app not installed on Samsung s9+"
