basically nova 2i honor 9i and mate 10 lite are same devices. Nova 2i is more close to mate 10 lite than honor 9i bcz of Huawei branding.

I think it isn't compatible with Kirin processors. I have the same issue on Huawei GR5 2017.
Following
Tried Wine 3.0 on Pixel 2, Samsung Note 8, and Oneplus5.
None worked. Any ideas?

as on honor v10?on the v10 is so many different roms
And the device has about the same specs.

Since the mate 10 is treble all those roms should work.
Let's hope some developers will jump on this
And port roms like carbon or resurrection
to the mate 10.
Probably they will work, but i am scared to test.
Since i need my phone as a daily driver.

they work fine, the reason there is lot of roms there is because honor gave out free phones to devs
Can confirm all honor v10 are working fine.

So far, I've already tried 3 different roms. OpenKirin, LineageOS and KangVIP. Im sticking with KangVIP for now.
Stock Android and Mate 10... I think I will not switch if this happen.

I tried all 3. LineageOS is fluid and fast using stock android. Fingerprint gestures also work. But you're losing supercharge and stereo speakers and camera quality.
But why?
i would test roms too. what kind of feature set are you planning? are you basing it on lineageOS?

Works like stock EMUI with bonus features. Supercharge, stock camera, AI, all there. TONS of bloatware on 1st install.

I found this project, OpenKirin(openkirin.net), and I was wondering if these roms are compatible with Honor 10 (Honor View 10 is on the list, and Kirin 970 is supported, but I don't know if it's safe to install one of these in my Honor 10 device.

Its not compatible as Honor 10 has EMUI 8.1 where as those roms are based on EMUI 8.0. They have mentioned it in FAQ.

I'm curious if it will be based on Android 10 or 11. EMUI 11 on P40 is based on Android 10, on Mate 40 it's based on Android 11.

Man thats not what u said. U said on mate 40 emui is based on android 11 and its not, its based on android 10 and android 11 is on the way for huawei devices.

That was my question, my curiosity: is Android 11 coming for P30 Pro (and other Huawei devices) or only for Mate 40? Doesn't matter if it's already on Mate 40 or not, it is coming for sure. For the P30 Pro, let's hope.

Still nothing but there is a list of over 40 huawei and honor phones that will get harmony os, according to HC, among which is p30 pro. There were some rumors that beta testing for harmony os will start in mid December but i have no idea when it starts for p30 pro.

I don't advice you, keep on EMUI 10 itz more stable and faster on Mate 10 and 10 pro.
there are alot of lags and issues on EMUI 12 on Huawei Mate 10 & 10 Pro.
