Hello everyone.
I hope I'm in the right forum section.
I used DrFone to recover some old photos but after that a notification saying "Unathorized actions have been detected blah blah.."
I tried rebooting, scan etc. but nothing changed at all so I decided to flash a stock rom on it.
I used odin to do that and a stock rom compatible to my device, at the end it failed saying
"Complete(Write) operation failed.
All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)"
I tried to flash it all day with varius rom's but still the same message
I also should mention that I have the latest usb drivers installed and I can't use smart switch because i don't have the device's official box.
I was searching for a solution too but nothing worked either
Please help me I'm really desperate and sorry for my bad english:crying:

My 8gb samsung j2 prime now only has 1gb storage
Hellothere, I have a completely different issue from yours. I posted this here because I'm really desperate for help.
I have a problem with my samsung j2 prime, it all started when I was trying to root it. After every root process I would get locked up from my phone and because of that I had to install custom firmware. I did that process again and again for about 7 or 6 times, hoping to successfully root it, but that never happened, and after that I looked at my internal storage and it only has 1gb instead of 8gb. What can I do to fix this? I think this was the result of installing custom firmware too many times because of failed root attempts. Please help me fix this.

Years ago I flashed wrong images to some Samsung, and it didn't welcome that. Now I want to get that thing alive again, and I'm trying around.
I used the bootloader to give me some info's: re-wrote the updater-script of some rescue package, and realized that the system partition - AKA /dev/stl9 - can't be mounted.
No prob, the knowing says. I took heimdall and flashed some - think so - reliable image. Bad luck. After that, my pretty good rescue didn't run any more, no chance to get any info from the device.
I tried CWM, version 5.0.2.6, with various procedures recommended in the internet, but also: bad luck.
Now I'm asking you, most experienced gents, for help. I'd better say, informations:
I need to know
* what machine is that thing, and what compiler do I have to take? (I'm familiar with gcc; my host cross-compiles kernels targetting RPI's, Beagle's ...)
* where's the CWM source code? G didn't bring any sufficient result.
because I intend to
* start adbd on the device despite any problems with failed mounts
* see what's wrong
* partition and install the system from scratch, if needed.
Thanks for any advice. And recommendations going another way.

First off, im pretty new to samsung phones. i got a N950F which i installed TWRP on today since i heard it was a helpful thing if you wanted to root, and since i just came from a jailbroken iphone i thought why not. i followed all the guides and made a backup before i did wipe, but now im stuck on the boot screen. i have tried re-installing the firmware but it just says "SW REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE: 2. Binary: 1." and fails. any links or videos woul be helpful since i dont want to pay money if i can fix it myself. im using Odin3 v3.13.1 with the firmware file called "N950FXXU1AQI1_N950FOXM1AQHF_BTU_7.1.1_FULL" i can enter download mode and twrp but it can not boot, it reaches the samsung logo and then restarts every 3 seconds. Please help!

Hi guys I installed the latest firmware, and tried rooting as I always did by extracting boot_a.img, moving to phone, patching with Magisk, then flashing via ADB, then rebooting and doing direct install through magisk....wifi doesn't work and after a while phone stops responding as if the touch screen doesn't work anymore.... I tried using a tool all in one that I found on this forum to root and now the phone is stuck in mclaren boot screen. what am I doing wrong and how can I fix the issue?

If your phone already had root before the firmware update, why did you not follow the "retain root after update" procedures?
Hi thanks, i thought that this was the procedure as it worked everytime. Since i missed it, are you able to share a solution and also the exact procedure so that in the future I can do it correctly? I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance
