I ordered a S9+ on Samsung's website since it has a student discount. It says it ships in 1-3 days but I'm praying for 1. Have any of you guys ordered your phone on samsung? How long did it take until it shipped? (when I say shipped I mean sent out from Samsung not arrived) I'm just trying to stay sane while I wait for this phone.
I ordered a S9+ this morning from Samsung (after 11 days of fighting with them about my financing) and selected Express shipping (1 day) and I already have a tracking number and it will be here tomorrow!
I ordered mine Monday afternoon and it shipped Tuesday Morning and I got it yesterday. (With Express overnight)

Originally listed as available on July 18th, I ordered it last week in hopes of having it by Friday to take on vacation (and paid for expedited shipping as well). However I noticed today that the "available" date had been bumped to July 20th, and I hadn't received any shipping notices, so I fired off an email to check things out.
Unfortunately the case is now delayed until July 26th, which is when "they" will receive their shipment, and then start shipping. This won't work for me, as I'll be laid up in a Cabin in Colorado for 2 weeks The person who responded was very nice and apologetic for the delay, and offered to refund my expedited shipping charge (14.99) and still send the package expedited as soon as it was available. While a lovely gesture, it just doesn't help me in my current situation.
So now I'm without a case, and definitely need one before we leave on Saturday.
In your experience, do you think I could get a case (rooCase, Caseen, etc.) online and shipped in time for my trip without spending an arm and a leg, or should I head to Best Buy and try to find something that I can jam the Transformer in for my trip.
Just wanted to share the delay of the case, my good experience with PC Micro Store customer service, and ask if anyone had any suggestions to get something in my hands by Friday or Saturday. Thanks!

I am in the same boat, minus the 2 week vacation. I do fly out Friday as well, but I will be flying back on Sunday. I also got the same email with the offer to refund the expedited shipping and still expedite once they get them in stock.

I was really looking forward to the slim-fit though. As for other similar cases, anything roocase is out as there only looks to be one supplier for them. For any of the other ones it just depends on who is actually doing the shipping. Amazon is usually very good about making next/2-day as per the item page. You just have to be more careful about the purchases that don't actually come from Amazon. Whatever you are going to do, I would hurry up. You are just on the edge of rolling over to another shipping day for Amazon.

I ordered the same case but have been waiting since July 6th, I guess one more week is not such a big deal.What is a bit disconcerting is that the email says they will mark the order as shipped on Amazon.
+1 on the sad panda. But m not going anywhere and my transformer stays fine on my couch, without a case. Just saved some money! not so sad a panda now that I think about it.

Thanks for the sad panda support guys! I went ahead and canceled the order, went to my local Micro Center and bought a cheap neoprene sleeve to hopefully keep my TF safe during travels (and kept the receipt and tags). Certainly not ideal, as I really wanted a folio that I could use to protect it and let my 20 month old son watch movies in the back seat on our long drive. Ah well, we shall perceiver!
Hopefully while I'm away, you guys will get your slim-fit and post some thoughts. If it's favorable ill go ahead and order one when I get back.

I've been holding off because I'd really prefer buying a case that allows me to dock without removing the TF and I don't want to spend money on the Tuff-love because it's too expensive for me.
I ordered this case as well however I just canceled it. I found the Acase version of the slim fit on amazon that is in stock with free shipping. I originally paid the $20 for expedited shipping that wouldn't arrive until after Aug 4th to an FPO address. However the Acase offers free shipping that will arrive between Aug 1st and Aug 4th, or for the $5 shipping they have a guaranteed delivery of Jul 30th. The Acase version can be found at

Ordered one on friday around 7:30 pm eastern time, about 3 hours after these opened up. I ordered it regular shipping to arrive no later than 1/3/12 and it still has not gotten a tracking number.
Ordered one on friday around 9:00 pm eastern time, about 4.5 hours after these opened up. I ordered it expedited shipping to arrive no later than 11/28/11 tand it has a tracking number and should be here on wednesday.
As the one with the tracking number was ordered an hour and a half later, but was expedited, I am assuming that both will come, they are just taking care of the overnight and expedited orders first. I have cancelled my order with J&R and will cancel my amazon one when I get a tracking number on the first order.
I was very very skeptical, but am glad that I took a chance early on. Thanks guys, you are the best.

I originally ordered this model from Amazon the day it was available. 10 days later my order was "inadvertently cancelled". Same day I went to BestBuy.com and ordered the 32G champagne. On 12/23 I received notification that champagne was on backorder indefinitely and was instructed to call to switch to gray. After 1 hour 20 minutes on the phone with 2 different clueless CSRs, I was told to leave my phone number and someone would be in touch. Immediately took matters into my own hands, cancelled the champagne via web, and ordered the gray via the link provided in their email.
What a long, strange road it has been.

For those snipers out there that managed to get a grey dock during the 15min opportunities that there were in the last few days, rest assured, the docks are being shipped.

When I got on newegg chat yesterday to check on my order, the rep was freakin clueless. Had me thinking they were overseas outsourcing or something. They couldn't verify that my order was being shipped or even if it existed in the warehouse. At the end of the chat I was very upset and worried about my order.
To give you an example, here's part of the convo.
Me: My order status says processing instead of shipped, but it's overnight and rush processed that was put in yesterday.
Rep: Well, I don't see it in the system. I'll send an email to the warehouse and you will get a response back in 24 hrs.
Me: I'm suppose to receive shipment in 24hrs not verification of my order!?!?!?!?
Rep: I've refunded your rush processing, regular processing take 2-3 days. Thank you for your patience

I ordered in that first 15 minute window and I am glad to say I am typing this on my keyboard dock. It is awesome. I just wish I hadn't let the back of my tablet get scratched as much as I did. It's not bad but it will probably drve me crazy. It's odd how little I saw the back of this tablet before I got the dock.

Just ordered the "Geek Squad Certified Refurbished" Gear Fit from Best Buy for a total of $54.24, I technically got it for $4.24 due to the fact that I got a $50 Best Buy Gift Card for using Samsung Pay on my Note 5. I'm excited for it to come, however, it won't arrive until next Thursday.

The $49.99 price is because it was the Deal of the Day. $99.99 is the normal price for the refurbished unit. I just got mine yesterday, and as of right now, I'm not impressed. I cannot get it to connect with my phone (Galaxy S5).
Shipped my S20 a few days after I received my Note 20 and just got the email that I will be charged $250 in 7 days because my device arrived with a cracked screen. I have pictures of it before I shipped it and have emailed them to Samsung. They put the $250 charge on hold until they review them. I attached the pics I have from when I shipped it and the one they sent of the damage.
Has this happened to anyone?

I myself haven't, I've sent back several trade-in devices (to T-Mobile) over the years and never had an issue. I always shipped it back in the original packaging & packed that box w/protective wrapping in yet another box.
In the future, I'd take a pic (or video) showing the about phone/IMEI page as definitive proof, along w/several pics of the reboxing in its various stages of re-boxing.
I've heard of several instances where Samsung has interpreted the condition of the phone received to be of lesser quality than the owner's interpretation.
I don't know what recourse you have, YMMV depending on your town/state/province/country of residence.
Ya I have pics (the ones above) so they are reviewing it.
I know I'm kinda late to the party, but I hope this was resolved! IMHO it just looks like the Samsung tech cut the screen protector when opening the box. You can see the bubbles on the "crack" and it doesnt reach the far left end of the phone. Again, hope you got your trade in credit in the end!
