Post install setup:
1) Open the microG app.
2) Enable both location services.
3) Go to location services in the settings app.
4) Set it to the middle option so you can use network assisted GPS.
5) Open F-Droid.
6) Go to the settings, turn on advanced, make sure the "privileged extension" is enabled.
7) Reboot.

Because you can use apps that require Google by having a "google spoofer" basically.

Nobody has answered the question though. I can already have lineage and those apps so why is this ROM better? I doubt anyone with an axon is maintaining it.

Oh I see. Sorry. No, you're right, the ROM is not any better than regular LOS. Besides the microG integration that's pretty much it really. I tried it once awhile back but I prefer to do things manually. Plus I'm not really a fan of LOS. ?
The LOS/microG ROM I thought was old news but I guess not. That Reddit post and this thread title is a bit misleading as I don't think the microG Team are behind the ROM specifically though they are contributors I guess (as mentioned in its XDA thread).

SORRY FOR MAKING A SEPRATE POST I GUESS IM TOO NEW TO POST IN THE NIGHTLY POST!
Running latest nightly release 10/31 had issues for about two weeks though.
Running Xposed Modules SnapPrefs, YouTube adaway, instagram zoom, and background YouTube. I also have AdAway.
So mainly the issue are;
1. Video recording does not work in stock camera and snapchat also gives me a failed message.
2. When I unplug or plug in my charger I get a message saying Unfortunately, Google Play Services have stopped.
3. When I turn off my phone while charging and disconnect it the green led remained lit then has an infinite battery like if its being plugged in continuously. The way to fix the bootloop is to hold down the power and volume up and down continually until it reboots into the system or twrp and restart it.
You need 10 posts to post in a development area... just an XDA requirement.
Xposed is NOT supported in any custom ROM, it is intended for stock ROMs only, that doesn't mean it won't work, but it does mean developers will NOT troubleshoot or debug their code since Xposed makes changes in the system framework. I can tell you from personal experience, if you have Xposed installed your problem will not be looked at in a custom ROM.
Here is what you need to do:
1. Get 4 more posts
2. Do a clean flash with the recommended gapps and DO NOT install Xposed
3. Confirm the problems still exist
4. Get the needed logs, use the SysLog app if you don't know how to get them manually
5. Post it in the CM thread with the logs attached (do not paste the entire log into the post, attach the file or link to pastebin) showing the problem
Remember that nightly builds are not to be considered "stable" and are not intended for daily driver use without you knowing that there maybe problems... if you are going to use a nightly build, you need to be prepared that some things may not function properly and you should be prepared to try to help developers replicate and diagnose the problem.

Not impossible. But requires a LOT more work. Porting more or less since you have no source from manufacturer.

From Wug site Huwaei Nexus 6P is listed under supported devices although a placeholder for now.

.
Looks like he updated NRT today and the Nexus 6P is now supported (per his twitter)?
I can confirm NRT 2.0.6. It supports 6P but the link to mda89d.img is broken.
Is this an easy program to use? I am getting my Nexus 6p tomorrow and want to unlock it.

They are both good. skip one has been out for a while. It was ready to go when I was so I used it to unlock, root and upgrade my 6p to the latest M build. Wug's is visually more pleasing. Skip's is much more detailed and informative. Text based.

Just got mine today, from Prime day! I'm looking for a simple ROM, since my mom will be using this. I've heard that EMUI is confusing, so I was hoping to find a ROM that is as close to stock as possible.
Thanks!
Cm13 is your best bet for close to stock. However your mother won't have access to the fingerprint scanner if you go that route. It is currently only working on the stock rom. I found that stock with nova, Google messenger, and chrome are very doable and provide great battery life.

Are we supposed to use the Arm64 GApps, or x86_64?

It's a custom stock launcher that puts 8 or so "tiles" on the home page-phone, camera, email, browser and whatever else they use. Settings and camera settings are limited to just a few things.

Mess a lot with that and you will get a nice bootloop. I´ve told you, not supported and even no 3rd party ROMs to justify it.
You might want to check Nexus or OnePlus devices.
until the honor 7 gets a custom ROM, you shouldn't mess with ROM Manager.
Honor 7 have custom ROMs, at least 4, but still multirom has to be specific to the device.

There are also some mods that can be installed as magisk modules like viper4android they you could try. Haven't personally used them with this phone but I used to use viper4android back when I had the g2 and it worked well. Just go into magisk app and go to downloads tab and download and install the viper mod or other audio mods. Nice part is if you don't like them you can just remove the module from the app.
