Alcatel mw40cj Unlock - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guys,
I recently purchased Alcatel mw40cj Hostspot pocket wifi router and it is locked on a particular network. I want to use another company sim cards also in this.
Please guide me through this or provide NCK code to unlock this device.
I tried to search in xda forums but unable to find any related information. I also tried many NCK code calculator and they all didn't work. Now i only have limited try attempts.
I am using xda from a long time for my studies and you guys are best. This is first time i'm posting any question which i didn't find in existing forums. Your help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

[Q] HTC Evo View Unlock and Rooting - Help Required

Hi folks,
I'm just a noob and this is my first post and I'm really sorry if we already have any thread that can help (as I did try searching around).
I bought a HTC View 4G from US and Now I'm in India. Was just wondering if there is any Unlock Possible so that I can use 3G(CDMA/GSM) Networks here in India.
Another question, what does rooting means when it comes to View 4G ?
Thanks for all the reading.

Is it possible guys, any help will do good.
The View is CDMA/WiMAX, so there's no way to "unlock" it in the traditional GSM sense for use on multiple networks. You'll either have to see if the CDMA carrier you wish to use will add it's IMEI number to their network and activate it (which many will not do), or you'll have to flash it for use on a different carrier. For either of those, you'll have to find someone locally who can help you out, because it will require access to the carrier's system (to add the IMEI number, and that will need to be done by the carrier) or certain carrier files (to flash it). There is no GSM radio in the View, so use on GSM networks is out of the question.
Rooting on the View means the same as rooting on any other Android device. You gain root access to the system. This allows for the modification and installation of various files/ROMs. Check out the View development section for more information on what is required and what you can do.
You can try contacting Reliance CDMA
hi Rituraj,
I am facing same problem with this device. I also bought it from USA. After doing some research, i think our cdma carriers (Reliance, BSNL, TATA) can program it to use this device in India. Moreover i also contacted Reliance & TATA, Reliance agreed to give a try on my risk whereas TATA denied for the same. So now i m planning to contact BSNL as well. Mean while if you can get any other solution do let me know.

SIM network unlock PIN

Hi All,
I installed JB 3.05 AOKP a few days ago.(I have SGS2)
a few hours ago, came from nowhere, I lost my network signal and Cellphone keep asking for "SIM network unlock PIN".
I talked to my operator and the couldn't find a way to help me.
I've tried to install Galaxy s2 unlock sim app from Play and i allowed it to get to Root, but it couldn't find any pin code...
to be honest I'm kind of desperate..I sold my iphone 4 just because I had the feeling things like this will never happen to me in Galaxy and android system...(and because I don't like apple, but this for other discussion).
Please, you are the experts...Please Please tell me that my cellphone is not just a brick...
Thanks in advance for your time.

[Q] Simple unlock issue?

Hello! First time poster here. I'll start with a quick overview:
My mum had a galaxy s2 on an orange contract. She's decided to give it to me. However, when I put my tesco mobile SIM in the phone and try to call it says 'Mobile network not available'. I tried to see if it needs unlocking by dialling #SIMLOCK# but I got the same message.
How do I fix this problem? Is this a case of me needing to unlock the phone? My mum has never gone on the internet with the phone and so won't have installed any new firmware etc.
Sorry if this comes across as a simple question. Any help appreciated!
Yeah it is simple.
Root phone, backup efs then use helroz unlock tool.

[Q] No solutions found

I have a sim locked SE x10i, I obtained the unlock code thru my old service provider, but I have 0 tries left for network unlock. I believe it is network hardlocked. I have spent days researching the net for a solution but it seems there isn't any obvious way to unlock my phone.
I am asking if anyone has any knowledge on this matter and if any of the developers on this site has maybe a solution for unlocking my phone.
Any insight or help will be appreciated.
Thanx.
Please if somebody can help with this matter as I dont have any other phone to use. Thank you.

I think the only solution to unlock it with 0 tries left with code entry would be using software not sure which software it would be but if you take it to a phone shop they might be able to unlock but tell them there are 0 tries left for using code entry

Samsung Galaxy S2 network sim lock

Hey guys. I have looked into almost every topic on this website that I could find about unlocking the phone. Tried most apps. But not successful! Even when I enter
Code:
*#7465625#
nothing appears! I strongly believe that the network has been frozen. I could not find somewhere to tell me if I have reached the number of allowed tries nor how to crack a network freeze!
Any help or threads I have no found (been searching for the past 4 hours) will be very much appreciated!
