Today I gave the B140-C432 a shot through the Firmware Finder. I tried with the smaller version of 400 MB - it downloaded it 5 times and it failed. Then I gave a try to the bigger one - 3.01 GB, but unfortunately, it failed too. The thing that amazed me is the speed of downloading. Even tho I was downloading it through the HWFF's proxy settings, I got the 3 gigs one for like 2-3 minutes... A month ago I was downloading 2.7 gigs on my Honor 8 and it took like an hour. Hopefully, the B141 update will come sooner than we expect, as right now my View 10 is with the B130 update and the battery life is worse compared to my OnePlus5's one, which is ridiculous.

I managed to update my View 10 using the Firmware Finder with the DNS trick. There is also a 141 version in FF but it's not approved currently. I updated it this morning, and so far all seems good.

As I said, using the DNS trick.
Go to Firmware Finder, tap the update version you want, go to "Get an update through DNS" and activate VPN service. Then go to your system settings and check for a system update. After you get the OTA notification, disable the VPN service by tapping on it from the drop down menu, go to "Open VPN" and disconnect. Afterward simply download OTA, install it and that's it.
Here are screen shots of the process in the attachment.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, check firmware access before you download it, by tapping that option in the FF.
I do this (C432 with 130) but failed with authorisation after download and installation. Firmware access check before says: With IMEI not approved, without IMEI approved

I hooked my 16GB GS4 up to my computer a few hours ago to do some backup because I am replacing it with the 32GB S4 (arriving Wednesday). The Verizon Software Upgrade Assistant did an update first, then it showed I had an update available for the phone itself. It took about an 1 1/2 - 2 hours (ridiculous I know) and it is finally done. Looking for changes, biggest I see is ability to move apps to SD Card. Can't remember what my storage was before, but maybe this is the update to give that little bit of extra space too? I assume those went hand in hand as 1 update. Any one else got this yet? Any other changes you see?
I just read last night that there is some fear that Vnz patched the boot loader. My 32gb arrives today and hope I have a chance to opt out so I can root. What's the new version number?

It should be in the /cache partition. You'll need root access to get at it if I'm not mistaken.

Just got my 32gig S4 yesterday. fired it up and rooted it with no issues..
However didnt see any notice for an update. Even if they have one, you have to accept the OTA.. just dont.

because its extension is ENC2 I would think that is the encoded copy... you might not be able to extract.

Yes, I'm aware, I tried CheckFusDownloader_v2.1, but perhaps I'm entering the wrong settings. Where did the file get stored when it got downloaded to the phone, in /cache?

My VIE-AL10 (C00***) has already jumped two more versions. I was on B163 over the weekend and yesterday on to B169. It is good to see some mionor bug fixes coming through as and when rather than the once or twice a month depending if your running the developer ROM.

Thats the advantage of buying China version of the Phone. Developer rom gets updates every month, while stable version gets update about every 2 months. International version gets update like maybe twice a year.

Yes it's real for official update. But I show that rom are on Huawei server. In China last rom is B168 in Europe now B160 but smartphone have customer see only B103 . This is the reason of my thread share with other rom that I find on Huawei server

great will go check later...have not even used the phone cause was unable to link it up with google contacts and google calendar which is pretty annoying as all my work contacts and appointments are linked to that.
was told there is some apps on the HW app store which allows for this will have to try it tonight. i think its called Calendar and contact sync adapter.

Hi, mate I've see all your great work. As you can see from image decrypt work. Your reverse engine is really great. Only problem of your source is data partition backup (255 error). I've worked on this matter.

According to honor India Instagram handle, a new Update will be rolling out in batches in 2 days. Paytm integrated, 3D creator, security patches, party mode. Etc etc.

Flashed on L09 on top of my abc build (using THIS guide, then reboot in fastboot when it finishes the installation process, flash twrp, wipe system/caches, flash custom rom and gapps again). Everything fine here and no data/config loss.

I did that earlier today. Made a back up, downloaded, flashed, did a factory reset and finally restored my data. Everything seems to be fine so far, some additional bloatware which I already uninstalled, security update from 05/5/2018 and another useless camera mode instead of EIS...

Hello, I update to the 160 and now when I listening the podcast when screen go off the podcast stop. This made me crazy, I search to the settings of the podcast and found nothing, also setting of the phone, battery etc ans I don't fond nothing. I don't install any other applications like greenify..

Yep with BubbleUpnp (and other casting apps)... I tried Ignore battery optimization and manual launch but to no avail... I have also tried factory reset. The only workaround I have is to leave the screen on...

I have checked the B141 and the B160 and both of them are available and approved in FF for mine, but I'm still on B140 and the "System update" says there aren't updates available. I bought mine in the UK and using it here as well... At least the B141 should be available already, right?

Seems Huawei/Honor, as promised during Open source program has finally started rolling out BKL-L09C675 B161 via OTA which includes much awaited EIS and call recording feature. Also they have added the Thermal fix and Google's security patch.
We will see when we get the GPU Turbo update, as per latest update its planned for September but lets see.

Its from someone else's who shared with me. This may not come to FF soon. It was released only for few users. It will rollout in batches. I am still on b151. Checked update and FF and it's not updated yet

I did not
Look in the status bar.. No key indicating a secure vpn.
I just hit check update on system... It installed.
Had to reboot to get the update fully installed due to a/b partitioning... But everything works.
So I can confirm updates to a c675 in America is working.

Someone who see update notification can share it in FF before they download. So that it will be available in FF for others to use.

How u update, i got update and i was rooted so i move to stock recovery then install update but it fails, now i restored stock update.app and got update notification but not able to download its says download fails.. please help me

You need to flash stock boot as well.
So Im on global (CPH2415) I just downloaded the downgrade package for global used it so back on Android 12 then I shut off auto updates and waited for the next day I checked oxygen updater and seen a update for (CPH2417) that was over 4GB so I let it download after saving the file and it let me use the system update app by OnePlus to upgrade into 2417.(if you need me to explain in more detail or tell you exactly how I did it just message me in private message)

Is this for the T-Mobile version and what version of Android is it .I have model 2419 and when I try to update my phone or swap to anything but Global Android 12 my apps lock up and says contract phone error and my apps are disabled.

So sadly I have had time to look up into the T-Mobile version so that is something I'm a lot of information for but a limit opposed to you that talks about that so hopefully that helps
I am currently on CPH2417_11_A.08 and I want to only go to A.13.. I DO NOT want to update to Android 13 (C.22).. but I cant seem to find this anywhere.. any ideas?
Oppo/Oneplus are systematically scrubbing all traces of the older OTA fw from all the known sites. This is why i havent made any updates to that thread for doing region swaps. My instructions still stand firmly for how its done and whats required, but now its kinda on a peer to peer basis, cuz all the OTA links that are now available anywhere have a new signature check that will make the fw not appear or fail flashing if you try them. But the steps still work... and Creeper36, if you came from a T-mobile original device, you do not want to take that next upgrade ... you CAN go up to A.12 and you will get your 5g , wifi calling, and volte all working... but anything A.13 and above will lock up all your apps and the only way to get the phone working again, is a factory reset, and a rollback. Some security function has been activated that can detect you original device fingerprint, and if you are on ANY fw other than a 2419 build, it triggers the app lock.
Im still working on finding out what needs to be removed from the CarrierDevicePolicy so that this doesnt happen, but i need root access to make progress, and i am on one of the newer 10T that have the Fastboot Protocol disabled. My advice would be to just search thru the oneplus community pages or go to the telegram/discord channels... both are user operated, so you can message someone or just ask the group for the file you want and chances are someone has it, who can help you. I have A.15 but its for the 2415 build. All the fw you find below that version on the common sites (gsm mafia... etc) are packages you will need the msm tool or qfil to flash.
Does this mean I can pull boot from this and finally bl unlock/root my 2417 on Android 13?!
Can someone explain me what is the difference between 2415Global and 2417NA versions of OOS? What is good and of course what is bad? I just flashed my ACE PRO to Global 2415 want to know if it is worth to change to 2417NA? Thanks in advance
